ಮೈಸೂರು, ಜೂನ್ 6: ಸಂತ ಅಂತೋನಿಯ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ ಹಬ್ಬಕ್ಕೆ ಸಿದ್ಧತೆಯಾಗಿ ನಡೆದ ನೊವೆನಾ ಭಕ್ತಿಯ ಮೂರನೇ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಜೂನ್ 6, 2026 ರ ಶನಿವಾರ, ಡೋರ್ನಹಳ್ಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸಂತ ಅಂತೋನಿಯ ಬೆಸಿಲಿಕಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾಪೂರ್ವಕವಾಗಿ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ಮೈಸೂರಿನ ಬೋಗಾದಿಯ ಧ್ಯಾನ ಸಾಧನದ ರೆವರೆಂಡ್ ಫಾದರ್ ಆರ್ಚಿಬಾಲ್ಡ್ ಗೊನ್ಸಾಲ್ವೆಸ್, ಒಸಿಡಿ ಅವರು ಗಂಭೀರವಾದ ಯೂಕರಿಸ್ಟಿಕ್ ಆಚರಣೆಯ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆ ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸೇಂಟ್ ಅಂತೋನಿಯ ಬೆಸಿಲಿಕಾದ ರೆಕ್ಟರ್ ರೆವರೆಂಡ್ ಫಾದರ್ ಡೇವಿಡ್ ಸಗಯರಾಜ್ ಮತ್ತು ಬೆಸಿಲಿಕಾದ ಆಡಳಿತಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ರೆವರೆಂಡ್ ಫಾದರ್ ಪ್ರವೀಣ್ ಪೆಡ್ರು ಕೂಡ ಇದ್ದರು.
ಸಂತ ಅಂತೋನಿಯ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ ಹಬ್ಬಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನಾಪೂರ್ವಕ ಸಿದ್ಧತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೆರೆದಿದ್ದ ಭಕ್ತರು ಪವಿತ್ರ ಬಲಿಪೂಜೆ ಮತ್ತು ನೊವೆನಾ ಸೇವೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಧರ್ಮೋಪದೇಶದ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ, ಭಕ್ತರು ತಮ್ಮ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಗಾಢವಾಗಿಸಲು ಮತ್ತು ಸಂತ ಅಂತೋನಿಯ ಮಧ್ಯಸ್ಥಿಕೆಯ ಮೂಲಕ ದೇವರ ಪ್ರಾವಿಡೆನ್ಸ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ನಂಬಿಕೆ ಇಡಲು ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ಯೂಕರಿಸ್ಟಿಕ್ ಆಚರಣೆಯ ನಂತರ, ಭಕ್ತರ ಉದ್ದೇಶಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಸಂತ ಅಂತೋನಿಯ ಗೌರವಾರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ನೊವೆನಾ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಸಂತ ಅಂತೋನಿಯ ಪವಿತ್ರ ಪ್ರತಿಮೆಯ ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪೂಜ್ಯ ಸಂಸ್ಕಾರದ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಭಕ್ತಿಯು ಮುಕ್ತಾಯವಾಯಿತು, ಇದು ಹಾಜರಿದ್ದ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಆಧ್ಯಾತ್ಮಿಕವಾಗಿ ಸಮೃದ್ಧ ಅನುಭವವನ್ನು ನೀಡಿತು.
ಒಂಬತ್ತು ದಿನಗಳ ನೊವೆನಾವು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ವಿವಿಧ ಭಾಗಗಳಿಂದ ಮತ್ತು ಅದರಾಚೆಗಿನ ಯಾತ್ರಿಕರು ಮತ್ತು ಭಕ್ತರನ್ನು ಆಕರ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತಲೇ ಇದೆ, ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಸಂತ ಅಂತೋನಿಯ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ ಹಬ್ಬವನ್ನು ನಂಬಿಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಭಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಆಚರಿಸಲು ಅವರು ಸಿದ್ಧರಾಗುತ್ತಾರೆ.
Third Day of Novena Devotion Preceding the Annual Feast of St. Anthony Held at Dornahalli, Mysuru
Mysuru, June 6: The third day of the Novena devotion in preparation for the grand Annual Feast of St. Anthony was solemnly celebrated on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at St. Anthony’s Basilica, Dornahalli, Mysuru.
The solemn Eucharistic celebration was presided over by Rev. Fr. Archibald Gonsalves, OCD, of Dhyana Sadhana, Bogadi, Mysuru. He was joined by Rev. Fr. David Sagayaraj, Rector of St. Anthony’s Basilica, and Rev. Fr. Praveen Pedru, Administrator of the Basilica.
A large number of devotees participated in the Holy Mass and Novena service, gathering in prayerful preparation for the Annual Feast of St. Anthony. During the homily, the faithful were encouraged to deepen their faith and place their trust in God’s providence through the intercession of St. Anthony.
Following the Eucharistic celebration, the Novena prayers were offered in honour of St. Anthony for the intentions of the devotees. The devotion concluded with the Procession of the Holy Statue of St. Anthony and the Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament, providing a spiritually enriching experience for all present.
The nine-day Novena continues to draw pilgrims and devotees from various parts of Karnataka and beyond, as they prepare to celebrate the Annual Feast of St. Anthony with faith and devotion.
