ನಾವು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ರಸ್ತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಭವನಗಳನ್ನು ಗತಿಸಿಹೋದವರ ಹೆಸರಿನಿಂದ ನೋಡುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಅದನ್ನು ಓದುವಾಗ ನಮ್ಮ ಹೆಸರೂ ನೆನಪಿಡುವಂತಹ ಕೆಲಸ ನಾವು ಮಾಡಬೇಕಾದ ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಣೆ ಪಡೆಯಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ರೇಮಂಡ್ ಡಿಕೂನಾ ತಾಕೊಡೆ ನುಡಿದರು.
ಅವರು ಕಾಟಿಪಳ್ಳ ಇನ್ಫೆಂಟ್ ಮೇರಿ ಚರ್ಚ್ ನಡೆಸುವ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಮೂರು ದಿನಗಳ ರಜೆ ಶಿಬಿರವನ್ನು ಶಾಲಾ ಸಭಾಂಗಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.
ಶಾಲಾ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಪ್ರಾನ್ಸಿಸ್ ಡಿಕೂನಾ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ; ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಮೊದಲ ಸ್ಥಾನವನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯಲು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನ ಪಡಬೇಕು.ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ತಾನು ಮೊದಲು ಬರಲು ಎದ್ದು ನಿಲ್ಲಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಕಿವಿಮಾತು ಹೇಳಿ ಶುಭಾಶಯ ಕೋರಿದರು.
ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾಗಿ ಫಾ ಸಂತೋಷ್ ಲೋಬೊ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ; ಶಿಬಿರದ ಉದ್ದೇಶ ಆಟೋಟ ಮಾಡುವುದು ಅಲ್ಲದೆ ಅದರ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಜೀವನೋತ್ಸವ ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಣೆ ಮಾಡುವುದು ಆಗಿದೆ ಎಂದರು.
ಮೊದಲಿಗೆ ಚರ್ಚ್ ಆಡಳಿತ ಮಂಡಳಿಯ ಉಪಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ವಿಲ್ಫ್ರೆಡ್ ಫೆರ್ನಾಂಡೀಸ್ ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿ ಶಿಬಿರ ಸಂಯೋಜಕಿ ವಿನ್ನಿ ಡಿಸೋಜ ವಂದಿಸಿದರು. ಬ್ರದರ್ ಪ್ರಿನ್ಟನ್ ಡಿಸೋಜ ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿದರು.ವೇದಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬ್ರದರ್ ಮೆರ್ವಿನ್ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ರೋಶನ್ ಡಿಸೋಜ ಇದ್ದರು.
ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಾದ ರೀಶಲ್ ,ಪ್ರಿನ್ಸನ್, ಶಿಕ್ಷಕಿ ಆನ್ಸಿಟಾ ಡಿಸೋಜ ಮತ್ತಿತರ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಸಹಕರಿಸಿದರು.

We often see roads and buildings named after people who have passed away. When we read those names, we should feel inspired to do good work so that our own names will also be remembered in the future, said Raymond D’Cunha Taccode.
He was speaking after inaugurating a three-day vacation camp for students, organized by Infant Mary Church, Katipalla, at the school auditorium.
School Principal Francis D’Cunha, in his address, encouraged students to strive for first place and to always take initiative to come forward and excel. He extended his best wishes to all.
Presiding over the program, Fr. Santosh Lobo said that the aim of the camp is not only to engage in games and activities but also to inspire enthusiasm for life.
At the beginning, Vice President of the Church Administrative Committee, Wilfred Fernandes, welcomed the gathering, and camp coordinator Winnie D’Souza delivered the vote of thanks. The program was compered by Brother Printon D’Souza. Brother Mervin and Secretary Roshan D’Souza were present on the dais.
Students Rishal and Prinson, along with teacher Ansita D’Souza and other teachers, extended their support.
