ಕಲ್ಯಾಣಪುರ; ಮಿಲಾಗ್ರಿಸ್ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಕಲ್ಯಾಣಪುರದ NSS ಘಟಕವು ಇತ್ತೀಚೆಗೆ ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ 22, 2025 ರಂದು ಕಾರ್ಕಳದ ಬೈಲೂರಿನ ‘ಹೊಸಬೆಳಕು’ ಅನಾಥಾಶ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಅರ್ಥಪೂರ್ಣ ‘ಉಡುಗೆಜ್ಯೋತಿ’ ಬಟ್ಟೆ ದಾನ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿತು. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಅಗತ್ಯವಿರುವವರಿಗೆ ದಯೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಹಾನುಭೂತಿಯನ್ನು ಹರಡುವ ಗುರಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿತ್ತು ಮತ್ತು ಇದು ಅದ್ಭುತ ಯಶಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಕಂಡಿತು.

ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ, NSS ಸ್ವಯಂಸೇವಕರು ಅನಾಥಾಶ್ರಮದ ವೃದ್ಧ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂವಹನ ನಡೆಸಿದರು, ಬಟ್ಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ದಾನ ಮಾಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಮತ್ತು ಹೃತ್ಪೂರ್ವಕ ಸಂಭಾಷಣೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಸಂತೋಷವನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಹೊಸಬೆಳಕು ಸೇವಾ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್ (ರಿ.) ನ ಉಸ್ತುವಾರಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ತನುಲಾ ತರುಣ್, ಹೊಸಬೆಳಕು ಇತಿಹಾಸ ಮತ್ತು ತೀವ್ರ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿರುವವರನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವ ಮತ್ತು ಆರೈಕೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಅದರ ಧ್ಯೇಯದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಸ್ವಯಂಸೇವಕರಿಗೆ ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆ ನೀಡಿದರು. ಆಶ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುವ ಅನಾಥರ ಪ್ರಕಾರಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವಾಗ ಎದುರಿಸುವ ಸವಾಲುಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ, ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ಖಿನ್ನತೆಯಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತ್ತಿರುವವರ ಬಗ್ಗೆಯೂ ಅವರು ಬೆಳಕು ಚೆಲ್ಲಿದರು.

ಈ ಒಳನೋಟವುಳ್ಳ ಅಧಿವೇಶನವು ಸ್ವಯಂಸೇವಕರು ತಮ್ಮ ಕೊಡುಗೆಯ ಮಹತ್ವ ಮತ್ತು ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳ ಜೀವನದ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೀರುವ ಪರಿಣಾಮವನ್ನು ಅರ್ಥಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡಿತು. ಹೊಸಬೆಳಕು ಆಶ್ರಮದ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಉಪಕ್ರಮಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಚರ್ಚಿಸುತ್ತಾ NSS ನಾಯಕಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಆಸ್ತಿಕ್ ಅವರು ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ತನುಲಾ ತರುಣ್ ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ನಡೆಸಿದ ಸಂದರ್ಶನವು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಅಂಶವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ತನುಲಾ ತರುಣ್ ಅವರು ಶ್ರೀ ಆಸ್ತಿಕ್ ಮತ್ತು NSS ಸ್ವಯಂಸೇವಕರ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಉದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ, ಆಶ್ರಮದ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಅದು ಸಮುದಾಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡುವ ವ್ಯತ್ಯಾಸದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಅಮೂಲ್ಯವಾದ ಒಳನೋಟಗಳನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸಿದರು.

ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಲು ಅವಕಾಶ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದ NSS ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಗಣೇಶ್ ನಾಯಕ್ ಅವರ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆಯ ಮಾತುಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಮುಕ್ತಾಯವಾಯಿತು. ಗಮನಾರ್ಹವಾಗಿ, NSS ಘಟಕವು ಆಶ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಲು ಒಂದು ದಿನದ ಶಿಬಿರವನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಆಶ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಭರವಸೆ ನೀಡಿದರು, ಇದು ಸಮುದಾಯ ಸೇವೆಗೆ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಬದ್ಧತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅಗತ್ಯವಿರುವವರ ಜೀವನದ ಮೇಲೆ ಸಕಾರಾತ್ಮಕ ಪರಿಣಾಮ ಬೀರುವ ಅದರ ಸಮರ್ಪಣೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.

‘ಉಡುಗೆಜ್ಯೋತಿ’ ಬಟ್ಟೆ ವಿತರಣಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಸ್ವಯಂಸೇವಕರಿಗೆ ಅಪಾರ ತೃಪ್ತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂತೋಷವನ್ನು ತಂದಿತು, ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸಹಾನುಭೂತಿಯ ಪ್ರಜ್ಞೆಯನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸಿತು. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಎನ್ಎಸ್ಎಸ್ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಗಣೇಶ್ ನಾಯಕ್ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಶುಭಲತಾ, ಹಿರಿಯ ನಾಯಕರು ಮತ್ತು ಉತ್ಸಾಹಭರಿತ ಸ್ವಯಂಸೇವಕರು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು, ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಇದರ ಯಶಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಕಾರಣರಾದರು.

ಈ ಉಪಕ್ರಮದ ಮೂಲಕ, ಮಿಲಾಗ್ರಿಸ್ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಎನ್ಎಸ್ಎಸ್ ಘಟಕವು ಸಮುದಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಲು ಮತ್ತು ಅಗತ್ಯವಿರುವವರ ಜೀವನದ ಮೇಲೆ ಸಕಾರಾತ್ಮಕ ಪರಿಣಾಮ ಬೀರಲು ತನ್ನ ಸಮರ್ಪಣೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿತು. ಈ ಸಮುದಾಯ ಸೇವಾ ಉಪಕ್ರಮವು ಸಮಾಜದಲ್ಲಿ ಬದಲಾವಣೆಯನ್ನು ತರಲು ಇಚ್ಛಿಸುವ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯುತ ಮತ್ತು ಸಹಾನುಭೂತಿಯ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪೋಷಿಸುವ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಬದ್ಧತೆಗೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. ‘ಉಡುಗೆಜ್ಯೋತಿ’ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಹೊಸಬೆಳಕು ಅನಾಥಾಶ್ರಮದ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳ ಜೀವನದ ಮೇಲೆ ಶಾಶ್ವತ ಪರಿಣಾಮ ಬೀರುತ್ತದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಇದು ಇತರರು ಅನುಸರಿಸಲು ಒಂದು ಉಜ್ವಲ ಮಾದರಿಯನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.

“Spreading Joy and Compassion: Milagres College’s ‘Udugejyothi’ Initiative Brings Hope to Hosabelaku Orphanage”

Milagres College Kallianpur’s NSS unit recently organized a meaningful ‘UDUGEJYOTHI’ cloth donation program at ‘Hosabelaku’ orphanage in Bailuru, Karkala on September 22, 2025. The event aimed to spread kindness and compassion to those in need, and it was a resounding success.

During the program, NSS volunteers interacted with the elderly residents of the orphanage, sharing joy by donating clothes and engaging in heartfelt conversations. The orphanage in-charge, Mrs. Tanula Tarun, Hosabelaku Seva Trust(R.) enlightened the volunteers about the history of Hosabelaku and its mission to rescue and care for those in dire need. She also shed light on the types of orphans residing in the ashram and the challenges faced while serving them, particularly those struggling with depression.

This insightful session helped the volunteers understand the importance of their contribution and the impact it would have on the lives of the residents. A highlight of the event was an interview conducted by Mr. Asthik, NSS Leader, with Mrs. Tanula Tarun, discussing Hosabelaku Ashram’s social work and initiatives. Mrs. Tanula Tarun, addressed questions from both Mr. Asthik and the NSS volunteers, providing valuable insights into the ashram’s activities and the difference it makes in the community.

The program concluded with words of gratitude from Mr. Ganesh Nayak, NSS officer, who expressed appreciation for the opportunity to serve. Notably, he assured the ashram that the NSS unit would organize a one-day camp to serve the Ashram, demonstrating the college’s commitment to community service and its dedication to making a positive impact on the lives of those in need.

The ‘Udugejyothi’ cloth distribution program brought immense satisfaction and happiness to the volunteers, fostering a sense of social responsibility and compassion. The event was attended by NSS officers Mr. Ganesh Nayak and Mrs. Shubhalatha, senior leaders, and enthusiastic volunteers, all of whom contributed to its success.

Through this initiative, Milagres College’s NSS unit demonstrated its dedication to serving the community and making a positive impact on the lives of those in need.
