ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ, ಜುಲೈ 26, 2025: ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ಡಯಾಸಿಸ್‌ನ ಯುವಮಿತ್ರ ಯುವ ಆಯೋಗವು ಡಯಾಸಿಸ್‌ನಾದ್ಯಂತ ವಿವಿಧ ಪ್ಯಾರಿಷ್‌ಗಳಿಗೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡುವ ಪ್ರಾದೇಶಿಕ ಯುವ ಸಮಾವೇಶ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ ಜರ್ನಿಯನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ, ದಾವಣಗೆರೆ ಮತ್ತು ಚಿತ್ರದುರ್ಗ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡಿರುವ ಡಯಾಸಿಸ್ ಅನ್ನು ನಾಲ್ಕು ಡೀನರಿಗಳಾಗಿ ವಿಂಗಡಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ: ವಿಯಾನಿ ಡೀನರಿ, ಲಿಟಲ್ ಫ್ಲವರ್ ಡೀನರಿ, ಹೋಲಿ ಫ್ಯಾಮಿಲಿ ಡೀನರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಮೌಂಟ್ ಕಾರ್ಮೆಲ್ ಡೀನರಿ.

ಪ್ಯಾರಿಷ್ ಪಾದ್ರಿ ಫಾದರ್ ಲಾರೆನ್ಸ್ ಡಿ’ಸೋಜಾ ಅವರು ಫಾದರ್ ಫ್ರಾಂಕ್ಲಿನ್ ಡಿ’ಸೋಜಾ ಮತ್ತು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಯಶಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಸಹಕರಿಸಿದ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆಯನ್ನು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಯುವಕರು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಹಭಾಗಿತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಸೇರಲು, ಪರಸ್ಪರ ನಂಬಿಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಪರ್ಕವನ್ನು ಗಾಢವಾಗಿಸಲು ಒಂದು ಅದ್ಭುತ ಅವಕಾಶವಾಗಿತ್ತು.

Karnataka Regional Youth Convention Cross Journey in the Diocese of Shimoga

Shivamogga, July 26, 2025: The Yuvamitra Youth Commission of the Diocese of Shimoga is organizing a Regional Youth Convention Cross journey, visiting various parishes across the diocese. The diocese, which comprises Shivamogga, Davanagere, and Chitradurga districts, is divided into four deaneries: Vianney Deanery, Little Flower Deanery, Holy Family Deanery, and Mount Carmel Deanery.

On July 25, 2025, the youth of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour Church, Kargal, Sagar Taluk, Shivamogga, hosted a meaningful Taizé prayer with the Regional Youth Convention Cross. Diocesan Youth Director, Fr. Franklin D’Souza, led the prayer, which was made possible with the help of Parish Priest Fr. Lawrence D’Souza and the parish youth.

After the Taizé prayer, the Cross was venerated, and Fr. Franklin D’Souza led a blessing prayer. This moment was a highlight of the event, invoking divine blessings on the youth and the parish.

Parish Priest Fr. Lawrence D’Souza expressed his gratitude to Fr. Franklin D’Souza and all those who contributed to the success of the program. The event was a wonderful opportunity for the youth to come together in prayer and fellowship, deepening their faith and connection with one another.
