ಕುಂದಾಪುರ : ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾ ದಾನ ಮಾಡಿದ ಗುರುಗಳಿಗೆ ಗುರುತಿಸುವ ಒಂದು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ. ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯ ಪ್ರಯುಕ್ತ ಮೊಗವೀರ ಯುವ ಸಂಘಟನೆ ಕುಂದಾಪುರ ಘಟಕದ ವತಿಯಿಂದ, ಸರಕಾರಿ ಹಿರಿಯ ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ಶಾಲೆ ಚಿಕನ್ಸಲ್ ರಸ್ತೆ ಸಂಗಮ್ ಕುಂದಾಪುರ ಇಲ್ಲಿನ ಮುಖ್ಯೋಪಾಧ್ಯಾಯರು ಆಗಿರುವ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಪ್ರೇಮ ಟೀಚರ್. ಸಹ ಅಧ್ಯಾಪಕರಾದ.ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಉಷಾ ಟೀಚರ್. ಹಾಗೂ ಮಹೇಶ್ ಇವರನ್ನು ಘಟಕದ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಿ ಗೌರವಿಸಲಾಯಿತು,ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಘಟಕದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಚಂದ್ರಹಾಸ್ ಕೋಣಿ . ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಸಂಘಟನೆಯ ಮಾಜಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಸದಾನಂದ ಬಳ್ಕುರ್. ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಸಂತೋಷ ಮದ್ದುಗುಡ್ಡೆ.ಕೋಶಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಮಾಧವ್ ಕುಂದಾಪುರ ಜೊತೆ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಕಿರಣ್ ಹಾಳ್ನಾಡ್.ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಸಂಘಟನೆ ಸದಸ್ಯರಾದ. ಅಶೋಕ್ ಸುವರ್ಣ. ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ. ಶರಾವತಿ. ಜಯಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಿ. ಸುನಿತಾ. ವಿಠ್ಠಲ್ ಕಾಂಚನ. ಸರಸ್ವತಿ ಗೋಪಾಲ್. ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು, ಸನ್ಮಾನ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿದ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಸದಸ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಂಘಟನೆಗೆ ಶುಭ ಹಾರೈಸಿದರು

The District Level Wrestling Tournament was held at St. Agnes High School on 4^th September 2023. The tournament stood as a shining testimony to the indomitable spirit of sportsmanship and athleticism. This grand spectacle was meticulously prepared by the devoted staff of the school. 

 The inauguration of this illustrious match began with a breathtaking Guard of Honor that left spectators in awe.

Following the Guard of Honor, a moment of profound spirituality graced the proceedings as the school choir added a soul-stirring prayer song.

The surroundings took on a vibrant and culturally wealthy hue with a charming welcome dance performance by the troupe of gifted classical dancers. Teacher Prathima K.B welcomed the gathering with an affable welcome speech

Symbolizing the victory of understanding over ignorance, light over darkness, and the embodiment of enlightenment, the ceremonial lighting fixtures of the lamp held a profound significance. Esteemed chief guest Honourable Mayor Jayanada Anchan , the Joint Secretary of St.Agnes Institutions Sr.Dr. Maria Roopa A.C, guest honour Mr.Naveen Dsouza ,local corporator, Mrs. Bimba Manoj Kumar,BEO South Mr. Ishwar H.R, and the Headmistress of the school Sr. Gloria A.C along with the senior officials of fraternity performed this traditional ritual.

In his opening address the Mayor praised the tireless efforts of the Headmistress and the faculty in presenting the first ever the district level wrestling tournament. He also encouraged the wrestles to give their best performance. The Joint Secretary supported the tireless efforts of the students. Mrs. Bimba Manoj Kumar made a motivational speech which lifted the sportsmanship of wrestling prowess.

Amidst the lively surroundings, the national level sportsmen  Mrs. Kavitha Ashok , Mr. Deepak Anchan, Supreeth .J.B were felicitated. These awesome athletes had brought sizeable pleasure to our district and had also raised our banner high at the countrywide level. It turned into a poignant reminder that goals can be realized with unwavering commitment. Almost 45 schools of the district took part in the m tournament. Alva’s School Moodibidire won the overall championship, under 14 boys and under 17 boys category. Navachethana School Neerumarga won over all championship under 17 girls category. Ladyhill Victoria School won the under 14 girls trophy. Six students of St.Agnes High School are selected for the State Level Wrestling match.

Mrs. Bhavya Ravindra physical education teacher Expressed heartfelt gratitude to the multitude of individuals, groups, and selfless volunteers whose unwavering help and determination had made this tournament a remarkable achievement.

Davanagere, Harihara, September 4, 2023: Sixth day’s Novena at Our Lady of Health, Minor Basilica, Harihara, Davanagere District, Diocese of Shimoga, began at 5:30pm with Rosary, Procession and floral homages to Harihara Matha. Then Basilica Rector & Parish Priest Rev. Fr George K. A led the Novena.

At 6:30pm Rev. Fr Shanthraj SJ, Bengaluru offered Holy Eucharist. He preached his homily on the theme: “Mother Mary is an inspiration to win over the difficulties in the family”. 

In his homily explained the difficulties are part and parcel of life. But we need to face them with the Grace of God courageously. Blessed Virgin Mary is the perfect example for us how she faced the difficulties which she faced in her life. She never complained about them. But gracefully accepted them as the gift of God and obeyed the will of God. Even in our lives she always remains as an example to  face and over come difficulties in our lives too.

Rev. Fr Venil D’Silva, Rev. Fr Richard SJ, Rev. Fr Wilson Lopis and Rev. Fr Alvin Stanislaus concelebrated the Holy Eucharist. 

After the Mass Rev. Fr Santhraj SJ led the benediction and priests prayed over the pilgrims.

ಕಲಬುರಗಿ: ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಳೆದೆರಡು ದಿನಗಳಿಂದ ಸುರಿದ ಭಾರಿ ಮಳೆಗೆ ಸೇಡಂ ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆ ಸೋಮವಾರ ಅರ್ಧಾಂಶ ಮುಳುಗಿತು. ಸೇಡಂ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಎಸಿ ಕಚೇರಿ ಬಳಿಯ ತಗ್ಗು ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಸತತ ಮೂರು ದಿನಗಳಿಂದ ಸುರಿಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ಮಳೆಯಿಂದಾಗಿ ಸೇಡಂ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆ ಭಾಗಶ ಜಲಾವೃತಗೊಂಡಿದೆ.

ಪ್ರತಿಕೂಲ ಹವಾಮಾನವನ್ನು ಗಮನಿಸಿ, ಠಾಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಟ್ಟೆಚ್ಚರ ವಹಿಸಿದರು, ಅವರು ಠಾಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ದಾಖಲೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಹಾನಿಯಾಗದಂತೆ ನೋಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಮೂಲಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ಸರಿಯಾದ ಮಳೆನೀರು ಒಳಚರಂಡಿ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಇಲ್ಲದ ಕಾರಣ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆ ಜಲಾವೃತವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ವರದಿಯಾಗಿದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಈಗ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದಿಂದ ನೀರನ್ನು ಹೊರಹಾಕಲು ಹರಸಾಹಸ ಪಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸಪುರ: ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಬಾಲಕರ ಪದವಿ ಪೂರ್ವ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಉಪ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಯುವ ಮೋರ್ಚಾ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣಾಧಿ ಕಚೇರಿ ಮುಂದೆ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆ ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಯುವ ಮೋರ್ಚಾ ಘಟಕದ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ನಿಶಾಂತ್ ರೆಡ್ಡಿ ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಬಾಲಕರ ಪದವಿ ಪೂರ್ವ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಉಪ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲೆ ರಾಧಾಮಣಿ ಅವರು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ವರ್ಗಾಣೆ ಪತ್ರ ಹಾಗೂ ಎರಡನೇ ಅಂಕಪಟ್ಟಿ ನೀಡಲು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಶುಲ್ಕ ವಸೂಲಿ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ವಿಚಾರಣೆ ನಡೆಸಿ, ಕಾನೂನು ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕೋರಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಉಪ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲೆ ರಾಧಾಮಣಿ ಅವರು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹಣ ಕೇಳಿರುವ ವೀಡಿಯೋ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಆದರೆ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳದಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆ ನಡೆಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಕೆ.ಭಾಗ್ಯಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ವಿಷಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಶೀಘ್ರವಾಗಿ ವಿಚಾರಣೆ ನಡೆಸಿ, ಹಿರಿಯ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ವರದಿ ನೀಡಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಸುಹಾಸ್, ಮಂಜುನಾಥ್, ಶೇಖ ಶಫಿವುಲ್ಲಾ ಮತ್ತಿತರರು ಇದ್ದರು.

ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸಪುರ : ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಚಿಂತಾಮಣಿ ವೃತ್ತದ ಬಳಿ ಇರುವ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಉರ್ದು ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಯೋ ನಿವೃತ್ತ ಹೊಂದಿದ ಮುಖ್ಯೋಪಾಧ್ಯಾಯ ಅಬ್ಬಲ್‍ವಾಜೀದ್‍ರವರನ್ನ ಶನಿವಾರ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಮುಸ್ಲೀಂ ನೌಕರರ ಸಂಘದ ವತಯಿಂದ ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಅಕ್ಷರ ದಾಸೋಹ ಸಹಾಯಕ ನಿವೃತ್ತ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ಅಬ್ದಲ್ ರಜಾಕ್ , ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ನೌಕರರ ಮುಸ್ಲೀಂ ಸಂಘ ರಾಜ್ಯಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಎಸ್.ಜೆ. ಸಲೀಮ್, ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಮಹಮ್ಮದ್‍ಆಲಿ, ಸಾಂಸ್ಕøತಿಕಾ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ತಾಜ್‍ಪಾಷ, ಜಂಟಿ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಗಳಾದ ಜಹಾದ್, ಯಾಷೀರ್‍ಬಾಷ, ಶಿಕ್ಷಕ ಮಹಮ್ಮದ್ ಅಬ್ದುಲ್ಲಾ, ಖಜಾಂಚಿ ಜಾಕೀರ್‍ಅಹಮ್ಮದ್, ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ಇಸಿಒ ಮಹಮ್ಮದ್ ಸಾದಿಕ್, ಉರ್ದು ನೌಕರರ ಸಂಘದ ಉಪಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಅಕ್ಮಲ್‍ಖಾನ್ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.

ಕುಂದಾಪುರ: ಐಇಇಇ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಶಾಖೆ ಎಂಐಟಿ ಕುಂದಾಪುರವು ಗೇಟ್ ಮತ್ತು ಐಇಎಸ್ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ತಜ್ಞರ ಭಾಷಣವನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿತ್ತು. ಎನ್‌ಎಂಎಂಐಟಿ ನಿಟ್ಟೆಯ ಇಲೆಕ್ಟ್ರಿಕಲ್ ಇಂಜಿನಿಯರಿಂಗ್ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಪ್ರಾಧ್ಯಾಪಕರು ಮತ್ತು ಪಿಜಿ ಸಂಯೋಜಕರಾದ ಡಾ.ರಾಜಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಿ ಸಾಮಗ ಬಿ ಎಲ್ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಗೇಟ್ ಮತ್ತು ಐಇಎಸ್ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಬೇಕಾದ ತಯಾರಿ ಮತ್ತು, ಮೌಲ್ಯಮಾಪನ ಮಾದರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪಾಸಾಗುವ ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಲಭ್ಯವಿರುವ ವಿಶಾಲ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯ ಅವಾಕಾಶಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಅವರು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲ ಡಾ.ಅಬ್ದುಲ್ ಕರೀಂ, ಉಪ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲ ಪ್ರೊ.ಮೆಲ್ವಿನ್ ಡಿ’ಸೋಜಾ, ಬಿ.ಬಿ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ಡಾ.ರಾಮಕೃಷ್ಣ ಹೆಗಡೆ, ಐಇಇಇ ಸಂಯೋಜಕ ಪ್ರೊ.ವರುಣ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರೊ.ಬಾಲನಾಗೇಶ್ವರ್ ಪ್ರೊ. ಸೂಕ್ಷ್ಮ ಎಸ್ ಅಡಿಗ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿನಿ ವನಿತಾ ವಾಸ್ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ನಿರುಪಿಸಿದರು.

ಹಿಂದೂ, ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ, ಮುಸಲ್ಮಾನ್, ಸಿಖ್ ಮತ್ತು ಸರ್ವ ಧರ್ಮಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾರುವುದು ಒಂದೇ ಪರರ ಕಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಸ್ಪಂದಿಸುವ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ದೇವರ ಸ್ವರೂಪಿ ಅಥವಾ ದೇವಾದೂತ ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತಾರೆ, ಪರರ ಕಷ್ಟ ಪರೋಪಕಾರಿ ಜೀವನ ಅಳವಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಾಗ ಮಾತ್ರ ಆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯ ಜನ್ಮ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ಜನ್ಮ ಆಗಲು ಮಾತ್ರ ಸಾಧ್ಯ.

ಯಾವ ಅಪೇಕ್ಷೆಯಿಲ್ಲದೇ ಸಮಾಜದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸಮುದಾಯದವರಿಗೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಸಮಾಜ ಸೇವೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಸ್ವರ್ಗ ಸಾರ್ಥಕತೆ ಇದೆ, ಕರಾವಳಿ ಪ್ರದೇಶದ ನಾಡೇ ಹಾಗೇ ಕಷ್ಟ,ಸುಖ ಅಂತ ಬಂದವರಿಗೆ ಮೊದಲು ಆತಿಥ್ಯ ನೀಡಿ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಸಂತೋಷ ಪಡುವವರೇ ಹೆಚ್ಚು, ವಿವಿಧತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಏಕತೆಯನ್ನು ಸಾರುವ ನಮ್ಮ ಕನ್ನಡದ ಕಂಪಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಳೆದ ವೈದ್ಯರು, ಇಂಜಿನಿಯರ್, ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ, ಕ್ರೀಡೆ, ಸಮಾಜ ಸೇವಕರು ಇತರೆ ವಿಭಾಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ಮಟ್ಟದಿಂದ ಹಿಡಿದು ಅಂತಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಮಟ್ಟದ ವರೆಗೆ ತನ್ನದೇ ಅದ ಕೊಡುಗೆ ನೀಡುತ್ತಾ ನಮ್ಮ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರದ ಧ್ವಜ ರಾರಾಜಿಸುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿರುವ ಕೀರ್ತಿ ಪತಾಕೆ ಇಂತಹ ಮಹನೀಯರಿಗೆ ಸಲುತ್ತದೆ.

ಹಾಗೇ ಮೂಡಬಿದ್ರೆಯ ಹೊಸಬೆಟ್ಟುವಿನ ಶ್ರೀ ಮರ್ಸೆಲ್ ಮೆಂಡೋನ್ಸಾ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಆಪೋಲಿನ್ ಮೆಂಡೋನ್ಸಾ ದಂಪತಿಗಳ ಪುತ್ರರಾದ ಸುನೀಲ್ ಮೆಂಡೋನ್ಸಾ ಮತ್ತು ಅನಿಲ್ ಮೆಂಡೋನ್ಸಾ ಸಹೋದರರು ಈ ದಿಸೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯುವ ಪಡೆಯನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡು ಸಮಾಜ ಸೇವೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಕ್ರಿಯರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಹುಟ್ಟು ಹುಟ್ಟುತ್ತ ಅಣ್ಣ ತಮ್ಮಂದಿರು ಬೆಳ ಬೆಳೆಯುತ್ತ ದಾಯದಿಗಳು ಎಂದು ಹಿರಿಯರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ, ಈ ಮಾತಿಗೆ ತದ್ವಿರುದವಾಗಿರುವ ಸಹೋದರರು ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತಾವು ಸಮಾಜಸೇವೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಇಂದಿನ ಯುವಪೀಳಿಗೆಗೆ ಮಾದರಿಯಾಗಿರುವ ಮೆಂಡೋನ್ಸಾ ಸಹೋದರರು ನಿಜವಾದ ಹೀರೋಗಳು.

ಸುನೀಲ್ ಮೆಂಡೋನ್ಸಾರವರು ದೂರದ ಇಸ್ರೇಲ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುವ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರ ಜೊತೆಗೂಡಿ ಹೆಲ್ಪಿಂಗ್ ಫ್ರೆಂಡ್ಸ್ ಇಸ್ರೇಲ್ ಎಂಬ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ್ಯಂತ ಅನೇಕ ಅಸಹಾಯಕ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳಿಗೆ, ಬಡ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಸಹಕಾರ ನೀಡುವುದು, ಸುನಿಲ್ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನದಿಂದ ಮುಚ್ಚುವ ಹಂತದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಲೆಗಳು ಮಾದರಿ ಶಾಲೆಗಳಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಹಾಗೇ ನೂರಾರು ಅನಾರೋಗ್ಯ ಪೀಡಿತ ಬಡ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳಿಗೆ ಶಸ್ತ್ರ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಗೆ ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಸಹಾಯ, ತನ್ನ ಊರಿಗೆ ವಾಪಸದ ಮೇಲೂ ಕೂಡಾ ಇಸ್ರೇಲ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವ ಹೆಲ್ಪಿಂಗ್ ಫ್ರೆಂಡ್ಸ್ ನ ಸದಸ್ಯರು ಮತ್ತು ಬೆಳ್ಮಣ್ಣಿನ ಹ್ಯೂಮನಿಟಿ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್ ನ ಜೊತೆಗೂಡಿ ಅನೇಕ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಬರುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಇವರ ಈ ಸಮಾಜಸೇವೆಯನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಿ ಅನೇಕ ಸಂಘ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳು ವಿಶೇಷ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಿ ಗೌರವಿಸಿವೆ ಹಾಗೇ ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 27 ರಂದು ನಡೆದ ಉಚಿತ ವಸತಿ ಯೋಜನೆಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಂದು ಹ್ಯೂಮನಿಟಿ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್ ನೀಡುವ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ‘ಅಭಿಮಾನಿ’ ಗೌರವ ಎಂಬ ವಿಶೇಷ ಪುರಸ್ಕಾರ ನೀಡಿ ಗೌರವಿಸಿದೆ.

ಅನಿಲ್ ಮೆಂಡೋನ್ಸಾ ರವರಿಗೆ ಚಿಕ್ಕ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನಿಂದಲೂ ಸಮಾಜ ಸೇವೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತುಡಿತ, ವೃತ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಡಿ ಬಿಲ್ಡರ್ ಆಗಿರುವ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಐರಾವತ ಆಂಬುಲೆನ್ಸ್ ನ ಮಾಲೀಕರಾಗಿರುವ ಇವರು, ಇದುವರೆಗೂ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ರೋಗಿಗಳ ಪಾಲಿನ ಅಪಾತ್ಬಾಂಧವರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಮೃತಪಟ್ಟ ರೋಗಿಗಳ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಜೊತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತು ಅದೆಷ್ಟೋ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೆಗಲು ನೀಡಿ ಅವರ ಅಂತಿಮ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನೆರೆವೇರಿಸಿರುವ ಉದಾರಣೆಗಳಿವೆ, ಅನಿಲ್ ರವರು ರಕ್ತದಾನಿಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದು ಅನೇಕ ಬಾರಿ ರಕ್ತದಾನ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂಬುದು ನಮ್ಮ ಹೆಮ್ಮ, ಮೊದಲ ಬಾರಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತರ ಪ್ರದೇಶದ ಅನೇಕ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮದವರು ಮತ್ತು ವೈದ್ಯರು ಪ್ರಶಂಸೆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು, ಕಾರಣ ಅಂದು ಹಿಂದೂ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ, ಮುಸ್ಲಿಂ ಸಹೋದರರು ಎಂಬ ಭಾವೈಕ್ಯತೆಗೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದು ‘ಐರಾವತ’ ಎಂಬ ಆಂಬುಲೆನ್ಸ್, ಕೇವಲ 41 ಘಂಟೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವುದೇ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳ ಸಹಾಯವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಜೋರೋ ಟ್ರಾಫಿಕ್ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಕೋಮದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಹಸನ್ ಎಂಬ ರೋಗಿಯನ್ನು ಮೂಡಬಿದ್ರೆಯಿಂದ ಮುರಾದಾಬಾದ್ ಗೆ 2700 ಕಿಮೀ ದೂರ ಪ್ರಯಾಣ ಮಾಡಿ ರೋಗಿಯನ್ನು ಮುರಾದಾಬಾದ್ ನ ಶ್ರೇಯ ನ್ಯೂರೋ ಗೆ ಸೇರಿಸಿ ಒಟ್ಟು ಇಂಧನಕ್ಕೆ ಖರ್ಚಾಗಿದ್ದು ಬರೋಬರಿ 48 ಸಾವಿರ ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ಪಡೆದದ್ದು ಮಾತ್ರ ಹಸನ್ ರವರ ಮನೆಯವರು ನೀಡಿದ ಒಂದಷ್ಟು ಹಣ ಮಾತ್ರ, ಅನಿಲ್ ರವರ ಇನ್ನೂ ಅನೇಕ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದು ಇವರ ಈ ಸೇವೆಯನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಿದ ಸಂಘ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳು ನೂರಾರು ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ನೀಡಿ ಗೌರವಿಸಿವೆ, 2021 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಉತ್ತಮ ಜೀವ ರಕ್ಷಕ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ, ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಕನ್ನಡ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಮಟ್ಟದ ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವದ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ, ಇಂತಹ ಸಹೋದರರು ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠರಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶೇಷರು, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಈ ನಿಷ್ಕಲ್ಮಶ ಸೇವೆಗೆ ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಗಳು ಸಿಗಲಿ ಇಂದು ಸಮಾಜದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವು ನಮ್ಮ ಕುಟುಂಬ ಎಂಬ ಸ್ವಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ತುಂಬಿರುವವರ ನಡುವೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಮೆಂಡೋನ್ಸಾ ಸಹೋದರರು ವಿಭಿನ್ನ, ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಮತ್ತು ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಸಂಘ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳು ಮೆಂಡೋನ್ಸಾ ಸಹೋದರರ ಜೊತೆ ಕೈಜೋಡಿಸಿದರೆ ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಲು ಪ್ರೇರಣೆ ನೀಡಿದಂತಗುತ್ತದೆ.

Udupi, Sept 3: Catholic Sabha Udupi Pradesh and Diocesan Laity Commission organized seminar for diocesan Laity Citizens awareness on present political purview and our responsibility at Anugraha, (Diocesan Pastoral Centre), Kakkunje near here on Sunday, September 3.

Bishop Most Rev Dr. Gerald Isaac Lobo inaugurated the programme with lighting the lamp. In his inaugural address, Bishop said that through the Catholic Sabha, it would be necessary to prepare the second phase leaders from our community and take a proactive approach to train the second phase leaders to become the future leaders from our community.

Bishop said that there will be forthcoming various elections taking place in parliamentary and panchayat levels. So through the Catholic Sabha, it would be necessary to prepare for the election by enrolling youth names in electoral lists and so on.

He said that there shall be need to give awareness on the National Constitution for the laity citizens in order to understand our constitution.

Mnsr. Ferdinand Gonsalves, Vicar General of Udupi Diocese, Spiritual Director of Catholic Sabha and Laity Commission spoke during the occasion and blessed the occasion.

Rev Fr. Vincent Crasta, Director of Diocesan Pastoral Centre and Secretary of CESU was the chief guest on the occasion and also briefly spoke during the occasion.

The resource persons were Dr. Jayaprakash Shetty, Professor, Tenkanidiyur Government First Grade College and Melwyn D’Souza, Advocate and Politician, Shirva.

Dr. Jayaprakash Shetty gave a talk on awareness on political purview and our responsibilities while Melwyn D’Souza briefed on the governments both central and state benefits available for our citizens.

The group discussion was held for the participants which was moderated by Dr. Gerald Pinto, Director of Diocesan Laity Commission and Former President of Catholic Sabha Mangalore Pradesh.

Former Presidents of Catholic Sabha Manglore Pradesh Valerian Fernandes and Walter Cyril Pinto, Unit Presidents of Catholic Sabha, Conveners’ of parishes Laity Commission were present.
