ಮಂಗಳೂರು: ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಪರಿಷತ್ತಿನ ಮಾಜಿ ಮತ್ತು ಹೊಸದಾಗಿ ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾದ ಪದಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಗಳ ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಯಿತು. ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಶ್ರೇಯಾ ಮತ್ತು ತಂಡದ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಧುರ ಗೀತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅರ್ಥಪೂರ್ಣ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನಾ ಗೀತೆಯ ಮೂಲಕ ಸರ್ವಶಕ್ತನ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದವನ್ನು ಕೋರಲಾಯಿತು.
ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಪರಿಷತ್ತಿನ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ಸಲಹೆಗಾರ್ತಿ ಡಾ. ದೀಪಾ ಪೈಸ್ ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿ ಶ್ರೀ ವಾಲ್ಟರ್ ನಂದಳಿಕೆ, ಡೈಜಿವರ್ಲ್ಡ್.ಕಾಮ್ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾಪಕರು ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಸಂಪಾದಕರು ಪರಿಚಯಿಸಿದರು.
ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲ ಡಾ. ಇ.ಎಸ್.ಜೆ. ಪ್ರಭು ಕಿರಣ್ ಹೊಸ ಪದಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿದರು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಪರಿಷತ್ತಿನ ಮಾಜಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಜೀಶನ್ ಹಾವೇರಿ ಅವರು ಕಾಲೇಜು ಧ್ವಜವನ್ನು ನೂತನ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಪೂಜಾ ಪಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹಸ್ತಾಂತರಿಸಿದರು. ಇದರ ನಂತರ ಮಾಜಿ ಪದಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಂದ ಹೊಸ ಪದಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಗಳನ್ನು ವರ್ಗಾಯಿಸಲಾಯಿತು: ಉಪಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಲಿಂಗಪ್ರಸಾದ್, ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಬಯ್ಯ ಶೀಲಾ ಜಾಯ್, ಜಂಟಿ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಹುಲ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಬಸಪ್ಪ ಕೆ, ಮ್ಯಾಗಜೀನ್ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಯಾದವ್ ದಿಶಾ ಚಂದ್ರಶೇಖರ್, ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಸಯೀದ್ ಫಲಾಹ್ ಮೊಹಿದ್ದೀನ್, ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಚೈತ್ರ ತಂಗರಾಜ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ, ಸಂಶೋಧನಾ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಅನಿಲ್ಕುಮಾರ್ ಮತ್ತು ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಜೋನಿತಾ ಬಿ ಮಚಾದೊ. ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರು ಪದಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ಪ್ರಮಾಣವಚನ ಬೋಧಿಸಿ ತಂಡವನ್ನು ಅಭಿನಂದಿಸಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ಭವಿಷ್ಯದ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯಶಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಹಾರೈಸಿದರು.
ಗಣ್ಯರು ಮತ್ತು ಹೊಸದಾಗಿ ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಗಳು ದೀಪ ಬೆಳಗಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಪರಿಷತ್ತನ್ನು ಔಪಚಾರಿಕವಾಗಿ ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿದರು. ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳು ಮಾಜಿ ಪದಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಪರಿಷತ್ತಿನ ಸದಸ್ಯರನ್ನು ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆಯ ಸಂಕೇತವಾಗಿ ಸ್ಮರಣಿಕೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಿದರು.
ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಪರಿಷತ್ತಿನ ಮಾಜಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷೆ ಶ್ರೀ ಜೀಶನ್ ಹಾವೇರಿ ವಿದಾಯ ಭಾಷಣ ಮಾಡಿದರು, ನಂತರ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಪೂಜಾ ಪಿ ಅವರು ಸ್ವೀಕಾರ ಭಾಷಣ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ನಾಯಕತ್ವವು ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲ, ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಎಲ್ಲರ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯನ್ನು ವಹಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು ಎಂದು ಉಲ್ಲೇಖಿಸಿದರು.
FMHMCH ಮತ್ತು FMCOPS ನ ಆಡಳಿತಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ರೆವರೆಂಡ್ ಫಾದರ್ ಡೊನಾಲ್ಡ್ ನಿಲೇಶ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಸಂದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಸದಾಗಿ ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾದ ಸದಸ್ಯರನ್ನು ಅಭಿನಂದಿಸಿದರು, ಹಿಂದಿನ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಪರಿಷತ್ತಿಗೆ ಆಡಳಿತ ಮಂಡಳಿಯ ಪರವಾಗಿ ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ನೀಡಿದ ಸೇವೆಗಳು, ನಾಯಕತ್ವ ಮತ್ತು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡ ಉಪಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಿದರು. ತಮ್ಮ ಸಂದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ, ಒಬ್ಬ ನಾಯಕ ಸ್ವಯಂ ನಾಯಕನಾಗಿರಬೇಕು, ತಂಡಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು ಮತ್ತು ಕರುಣಾಮಯಿಯಾಗಿರಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಉಲ್ಲೇಖಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನೀವು ಏಕಾಂಗಿಯಾಗಿ ನಿಲ್ಲಬೇಕಾದಾಗಲೂ ಸವಾಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಎದುರಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಧೈರ್ಯ ವಹಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅವರು ಒತ್ತಾಯಿಸಿದರು.
ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿ ಶ್ರೀ ವಾಲ್ಟರ್ ನಂದಳಿಕೆ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನಾ ಭಾಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಸದಾಗಿ ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಪರಿಷತ್ತನ್ನು ಅಭಿನಂದಿಸಿದರು ಮತ್ತು FMHMC ಯ 40 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಪರಂಪರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮೊದಲ ಮಹಿಳಾ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರ ಚುನಾವಣೆಯನ್ನು ವೀಕ್ಷಿಸಲು ಸಂತೋಷ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಉದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಅವರು, ಇಂದಿನ ಯುವಕರು ನಾಳಿನ ನಾಯಕರು ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲ, ಇಂದಿನ ನಾಯಕರೂ ಹೌದು ಎಂದು ಒತ್ತಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು. ನಾಯಕತ್ವ ವಹಿಸಲು ಅನುಮತಿಗಾಗಿ ಕಾಯಬೇಡಿ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಅವರನ್ನು ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಿಸಿದರು, ಇನ್ನೊಬ್ಬ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಕಾರಾತ್ಮಕ ಬದಲಾವಣೆಯನ್ನು ತರುವ ಯಾರಾದರೂ ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ನಾಯಕರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ವೃತ್ತಿಯ ಉದಾತ್ತತೆಯನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತಾ, ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನವು ಮುಂದುವರೆದಿದ್ದರೂ, ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯ ಹೃದಯಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸಹಾನುಭೂತಿ, ಸಹಾನುಭೂತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಮಾನವ ಸ್ಪರ್ಶವನ್ನು ಅದು ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಬದಲಾಯಿಸಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗೆ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆಯ ಸಂಕೇತವಾಗಿ FMCI ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ರೆವರೆಂಡ್ ಫಾದರ್ ಫಾದರ್ ಫಾದರ್ ಫಾದರ್ ಫಾದರ್ ಲೂಕಸ್ ಲೋಬೊ ಅವರು ಸ್ಮರಣಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದರು, ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷೀಯ ಭಾಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಸದಾಗಿ ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಪರಿಷತ್ತಿನ ಪದಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸದಸ್ಯರು ಹಾಗೂ ನಿರ್ಗಮಿತ ಪರಿಷತ್ ಸದಸ್ಯರನ್ನು ಅವರ ಸಮರ್ಪಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸೇವೆಗಾಗಿ ಅಭಿನಂದಿಸಿದರು. ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಸಂದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ, “ನಾಯಕ ಎಂದರೆ ದಾರಿ ತಿಳಿದಿರುವ, ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋಗುವ ಮತ್ತು ದಾರಿ ತೋರಿಸುವವನು” ಎಂದು ಉಲ್ಲೇಖಿಸಿದರು. ಪ್ರಗತಿಯನ್ನು ಸುಗಮಗೊಳಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಮತ್ತು ಇತರರಿಗೆ ಸ್ಫೂರ್ತಿ ನೀಡುವಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಯಕರು ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಪಾತ್ರ ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಒತ್ತಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿ ನಾಯಕತ್ವಕ್ಕೆ ಬುದ್ಧಿವಂತ ಸಂವಹನ, ಬಲವಾದ ನೈತಿಕ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಕೋನದ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿದೆ. ಅವರು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ನಾಯಕರು ಸಮಗ್ರತೆಯನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿಹಿಡಿಯಲು, ಅರ್ಥಪೂರ್ಣ ಗುರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿಸಲು ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮಾಜದ ಸುಧಾರಣೆಗಾಗಿ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಸಾಧಿಸಲು ಶ್ರದ್ಧೆಯಿಂದ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಲು ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಿಸಿದರು.
ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಪರಿಷತ್ತಿನ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಬಯ್ಯ ಶೀಲಾ ಜಾಯ್ ಧನ್ಯವಾದ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದರು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಗೀತೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮುಕ್ತಾಯಗೊಂಡಿತು.
ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಹಿಮಾ ಎಸ್ ಅಕ್ಬರ್ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಣವ ಎಂ ಎಸ್ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿದರು.
Father Muller Homeopathic Medical College and Hospital Student Council Inauguration 2026–27
The inaugural ceremony of the Students’ Council 2026-27 of Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College Hospital’s was held on 24.06.2026 in Father Muller Auditorium, Deralakatte.
The programme commenced by the procession of the former and the newly elected office bearers of students’ council and student representatives. The blessings of the Almighty were implored through melodies and meaningful prayer song led by Ms Shreya and team
Dr Deepa Pais, staff advisor, students’ council welcomed the gathering and introduced the chief guest Mr Walter Nandalike, Founder and Editor-in-chief, Daijiworld.com.
Principal Dr E S J Prabhu Kiran welcomed the new office bearers. Former president of the students’ council, Mr. Zeeshan Haveri handed over the college flag to the newly elected president, Ms. Pooja P. This was followed by the transfer of responsibilities from the former office bearers to the new office bearers: Mr Lingaprasad, Vice-President, Ms Bayya Sheela Joy, General Secretary, Mr Rahul Kumar Basappa K, Joint secretary, Ms Yadav Disha chandrashekar, Magazine Secretary, Mr Sayed Falah Mohiddin, Sports Secretary, Ms Chaitra Thangaraj Shetty, Cultural Secretary, Mr Anilkumar, Research Secretary and Ms Joanita B Machado, Media Secretary. Principal administered the oath of office bearers and congratulated the team and wished them success in their future endeavours.
The students’ council was formally inaugurated by lighting the lamp by the dignitaries and newly elected president & general secretary. The chief guest felicitated the former office bearers and members of students’ council with a memento as a token of appreciation.
Mr Zeeshan Haveri, former president, students’ council delivered the farewell speech which was followed by acceptance speech by Ms Pooja P in which she quoted leadership is not being in charge, but taking charge of everyone.
Rev. Fr Donald Nilesh Crasta, administrator, FMHMCH & FMCOPS in his message congratulated the newly elected members, thanked the former Students’ council on behalf of the management and recognized the services rendered, leadership executed and initiatives taken. In his message, he quoted saying, a leader should be a self-leader, working for team and should be compassionate. He urged to take courage in facing the challenges, even when you have to stand alone.
Chief Guest Mr. Walter Nandalike, in his inaugural address, congratulated the newly elected Students’ Council and expressed his delight at witnessing the election of the first woman President in the 40-year legacy of FMHMC. Addressing the students, he emphasized that today’s youth are not only the leaders of tomorrow but also the leaders of today. He encouraged them not to wait for permission to lead, stating that anyone who makes a positive difference in another person’s life is already a leader. Highlighting the nobility of the medical profession, he remarked that while technology continues to advance, it can never replace the compassion, empathy, and human touch that lie at the heart of healthcare.
Chief guest was presented with a memento as a token of gratitude by Rev Fr Faustine Lucas Lobo, Director, FMCI Rev. Fr. Faustine Lucas Lobo, in his presidential address, congratulated the newly elected Students’ Council office bearers and members, as well as the outgoing council members, for their dedication and service. In his message, he quoted, “A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way.” He emphasized that leaders play a vital role in facilitating progress and inspiring others. Effective leadership requires intelligent communication, strong moral values, and a clear vision. He encouraged the student leaders to uphold integrity, set meaningful goals, and work diligently towards achieving them for the betterment of the institution and society.
Bayya Sheela Joy, general secretary, students’ council proposed the vote of thanks. The programme concluded with the Institution Anthem.
