ಬಜ್ಜೋಡಿ ; ಈಸ್ಟರ್ ಭಾನುವಾರದ ಶುಭ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ, ಬಜ್ಜೋಡಿಯ ಇನ್ಫೆಂಟ್ ಮೇರಿ ಪ್ಯಾರಿಷ್‌ನ ಸ್ತ್ರೀ ಆಯೋಗ್ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ತ್ರೀ ಸಂಘಟನ್, ಭಗವಾನ್ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಪುನರುತ್ಥಾನವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲು “ಈಸ್ಟರ್ ಕಿರಣಗಳು” ಎಂಬ ರೋಮಾಂಚಕ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿತು. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ನಂಬಿಕೆ, ಸಂತೋಷ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಂಪ್ರದಾಯಿಕ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಅಭಿವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಸಮುದಾಯವನ್ನು ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ಒಟ್ಟುಗೂಡಿಸಿತು.

ಈ ಉತ್ಸವದಲ್ಲಿ ಫ್ಯಾನ್ಸಿ ಫೆಟ್ ಸೇರಿತ್ತು, ಇದನ್ನು ಅಧಿಕೃತವಾಗಿ ಫಾದರ್ ಪ್ರಣಾಮ್ ಮತ್ತು ಫಾದರ್ ಸಿರಿಲ್ ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿದರು. ಔಪಚಾರಿಕ ವೇದಿಕೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ಯಾರಿಷ್ ಫಾದರ್ ರೆವರೆಂಡ್ ಡೊಮಿನಿಕ್ ವಾಸ್ ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀ ವಿನ್ಸೆಂಟ್ ಪಿಂಟೊ (ಪ್ಯಾರಿಷ್ ಕೌನ್ಸಿಲ್ ಉಪಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು), ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಜಾನೆಟ್ ಡಿಸೋಜಾ (ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ, ಪ್ಯಾರಿಷ್ ಕೌನ್ಸಿಲ್), ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಅಸುಂತ ಮೆಂಡೋನ್ಸಾ (21 ಅಯೋಗ ಸಂಯೋಜಕರು), ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಜಸಿಂತಾ ಮೋನಿಸ್ (ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷೆ, ಸ್ತ್ರೀ ಆಯೋಗ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ತ್ರೀ ಸಂಘಟನೆ), ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಮೀನಾ ಪಿಂಟೊ (ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ, ಸ್ತ್ರೀ ಸಂಘಟನೆ).

ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಯುವಕರು ಮತ್ತು ಮಹಿಳೆಯರಿಂದ ಭಾವಪೂರ್ಣ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನಾ ಗೀತೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಯಿತು,ರ್ಚಿನ ವೇದಿ ಸೇವಕರಿಂದ ಉತ್ಸಾಹಭರಿತ ಸ್ವಾಗತ ನೃತ್ಯವನ್ನು ನಡೆಯಿತು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಸ್ತ್ರೀ ಸಂಘಟನೆಯ ಉಪಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷೆ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಮಾಲಿ ರೊಡ್ರಿಗಸ್ ಸಭೆಯನ್ನು ಆತ್ಮೀಯವಾಗಿ ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸುವುದರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಯಿತು.

ಸಂಜೆಯ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಅಂಶವೆಂದರೆ ಸುನಿಲ್ ನೆಲ್ಲಿಗುಡೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ತಂಡದ ನೇತೃತ್ವದ ಕಾರ್ಕಳದ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ “ತೆಲಿಕೆದ ತೆನಾಲಿ” ತಂಡದಿಂದ ತುಳು ಹಾಸ್ಯ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ. ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ, ಸುನಿಲ್ ನೆಲ್ಲಿಗುಡೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ತಂಡವನ್ನು ಅವರ ಅದ್ಭುತ ಮನರಂಜನೆಗಾಗಿ ಅಧಿಕೃತವಾಗಿ ಗೌರವಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ಲಕ್ಕಿ ಡ್ರಾ ಕೂಪನ್‌ಗಳು, ಬಿಯರ್ ಡ್ರಾ ಆಟ ಮತ್ತು ಹೌಸಿ ಹೌಸಿ ಎಲ್‌ಗೇಮ್ ಅನ್ನು ಸಹ ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ಅತಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಕೂಪನ್ ಮಾರಾಟಗಾರರಾದ ಅನಿತಾ ವೇಗಸ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಅತ್ಯಧಿಕ ಪ್ರಾಯೋಜಕತ್ವ ಸಂಗ್ರಹವನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯುವಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ಸಮರ್ಪಿತ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಮಾಲಿ ರೊಡ್ರಿಗಸ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ಚರ್ಚ್ ಮೈದಾನವು ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಯ ಕೇಂದ್ರವಾಗಿತ್ತು, ವೈಸಿಎಸ್ (ಯುವ ಕ್ರಿಶ್ಚಿಯನ್ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು) ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ಯಾರಿಷ್‌ನ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರು ವಿವಿಧ ಆಹಾರ ಮತ್ತು ಆಟದ ಮಳಿಗೆಗಳನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ಯಾರಿಷಿಯನ್ನರಿಗೆ ಮನರಂಜನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಭಕ್ಷ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.

“ಈಸ್ಟರ್ ರೇಸ್” ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷೆ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಜಸಿಂತಾ ಮೋನಿಸ್ ಅವರ ಹೃತ್ಪೂರ್ವಕ ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮುಕ್ತಾಯಗೊಂಡಿತು. ಅವರು ಧರ್ಮಗುರುಗಳಿಗೆ, ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಕರು ಮತ್ತು ಇಡೀ ಧರ್ಮಕೇಂದ್ರದ ಸಮುದಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರ ಅಗಾಧ ಬೆಂಬಲಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆಗಳನ್ನು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು. ಆಚರಣೆಯು ಬೈಲಾದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂತೋಷದಾಯಕವಾಗಿ ಕೊನೆಗೊಂಡಿತು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಮೀನಾ ಪಿಂಟೋ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಜಾನೆಟ್ ಡಿಸೋಜಾ ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿದರು.

“Easter Rays” cultural program celebrated in Bajjodi

Bajjodi; On the auspicious occasion of Easter Sunday, the Stree Ayog and Stree Sanghatan of the Infant Mary parish, Bajjodi, organized a vibrant cultural program titled “Easter Rays” to celebrate the resurrection of Lord Jesus. The event successfully brought the community together through faith, joy, and traditional cultural expressions.

The festivities included a Fancy Fete, which was officially inaugurated by Fr. Pranam and Fr. Cyril. The formal stage program was presided over by the Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Dominic Vas, and the dignitaries who graced the occasion were Mr. Vincent Pinto (Vice President, Parish Council), Mrs. Janet D’Souza (Secretary, Parish Council), Mrs. Asuntha Mendonca (21 Ayog Coordinator), Mrs. Jacintha Monis (President, Stree Ayog & Stree Sanghatan), and Mrs. Meena Pinto (Secretary, Stree Sanghatan).

The program commenced with a soulful prayer song by the youth and women, followed by an energetic welcome dance performed by the parish altar servers. The formal program commenced with Mrs. Molly Rodrigues (Vice President, Sthree Sanghatan) warmly welcoming the dignitaries and the gathering. The highlight of the evening was a Tulu comedy performance by the renowned “Telikeda Tenali” team from Karkala, led by Sunil Nelligude and his team.During the event, Sunil Nelligude and his team were officially honoured for their stellar entertainment.

Lucky draws of coupons, a beer draw game, and a housie Housie lgame were also conducted.
The highest coupon seller, Anitha Veigas was felicitated. Mrs. Molly Rodrigues was specially felicitated for her dedicated efforts in securing the highest sponsorship collection.

The church grounds were a hub of activity, with various food and game stalls organized and conducted by the YCS (Young Christian Students) and the women of the parish, providing entertainment and local delicacies for all parishioners.

The “Easter Rays” program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by the President, Mrs. Jacintha Monis, who expressed gratitude to the priests, performers, and the entire parish community for their overwhelming support. The celebration ended on a joyful note with Baila. The program was compèred by Mrs. Meena Pinto and Mrs. Janet D’souza.
