COURSE INAUGURATION PROGRAMME HELD AT ATHENA INSTITUTE OF ALLIED HEALTH SCIENCES 21-09-2026
ಮಂಗಳೂರು: ಅಥೆನಾ ಇನ್ಸ್ಟಿಟ್ಯೂಟ್ ಆಫ್ ಅಲೈಡ್ ಹೆಲ್ತ್ ಸೈನ್ಸಸ್, ಹೊಸದಾಗಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶ ಪಡೆದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ಪೋಷಕರನ್ನು ಆತ್ಮೀಯವಾಗಿ ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಲು ಹಾಗೂ ಹೊಸ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ವರ್ಷದ ಆರಂಭವನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಲು ಕೋರ್ಸ್ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನಾ ಸಮಾರಂಭವನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿತ್ತು.
ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಆರಂಭವಾಯಿತು, ನಂತರ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಡಾ. ನಂದಿನಿ ಅವರು ಸ್ವಾಗತ ಭಾಷಣ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಸಾಂಪ್ರದಾಯಿಕ ದೀಪ ಬೆಳಗಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಅಧಿಕೃತವಾಗಿ ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಕಾಲೇಜು ಹಾಗೂ ಅಲ್ಲಿನ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ (ಕ್ಲಿನಿಕಲ್) ಕಲಿಕಾ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಪರಿಚಯಿಸುವ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಿಯನ್ನು ಇದೇ ವೇಳೆ ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು.
ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರಾದ ಸಿಸ್ಟರ್ ದೀಪಾ ಪೀಟರ್ ಸಭೆಯನ್ನು ಉದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಾ, ಅಲೈಡ್ ಹೆಲ್ತ್ ಸೈನ್ಸಸ್ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠತೆ, ಶಿಸ್ತು, ಪ್ರಾಯೋಗಿಕ ಕಲಿಕೆ, ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಅನುಭವ ಮತ್ತು ವೃತ್ತಿಪರ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು. ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಾಪಕ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟಿ ಡಾ. ಆಶಿತ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ ಅವರು ಹೊಸ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟದ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಹಾಗೂ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಸರ್ವತೋಮುಖ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗೆ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯು ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ಬದ್ಧತೆಯನ್ನು ಒತ್ತಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಪೋಷಕರ ಅನುಕೂಲಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಹಾಸ್ಟೆಲ್ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ನಿಯಮಾವಳಿಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಕುಮಾರಿ ಸಿಲ್ವಿಟಾ ಅವರಿಂದ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಅಧಿವೇಶನವನ್ನು (ಓರಿಯಂಟೇಶನ್) ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಕುಮಾರಿ ಮರಿಷ್ಕಾ ಅವರ ವಂದನಾರ್ಪಣೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಮುಕ್ತಾಯಗೊಂಡಿತು; ನಂತರ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಗೀತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಉಪಹಾರದ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಇತ್ತು.
ಈ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನಾ ಸಮಾರಂಭವು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಮರ್ಥ ಮತ್ತು ಸಹಾನುಭೂತಿಯುಳ್ಳ ವೃತ್ತಿಪರರಾಗುವತ್ತ ಸಾಗುವ ಹೊಸ ಹಾಗೂ ಭರವಸೆಯ ಪಯಣದ ಆರಂಭವನ್ನು ಸೂಚಿಸಿತು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಕುಮಾರಿ ಹಂಶಿಕಾ ಯು. ಆಳ್ವ ಅವರು ಸುಗಮವಾಗಿ ಮತ್ತು ಅಚ್ಚುಕಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿದರು.

Mangaluru: Athena Institute of Allied Health Sciences conducted its Course Inauguration Programme to warmly welcome the newly admitted students and their parents and to mark the beginning of the new academic year.
The programme began with a prayer, followed by the Welcome Address by the Principal. Dr. Nandini. The ceremonial lighting of the lamp marked the formal inauguration of the programme. A glimpse showcasing the college and its academic and clinical learning facilities was presented.
The Head of the Institution , Sr Deepa Peter addressed the gathering and highlighted the importance of academic excellence, discipline, practical learning, clinical exposure and professional values in the field of Allied Health Sciences. The Managing Trustee Dr.Ashith Shettian welcomed the new students and emphasized the institution’s commitment to quality education and the holistic development of students.
An orientation session on hostel facilities, rules and regulations was conducted by Ms Silvita for the benefit of students and parents. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms Marishka , followed by the Institutional Anthem and refreshments.
The inauguration marked the beginning of a new and promising journey for the students as they embarked on their path towards becoming competent and compassion. The programme was compered by Ms. Hamshika U. Alva, who guided the proceedings smoothly and gracefully.
