ಮೌಂಟ್ ರೋಸರಿ ಚರ್ಚ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ಯಾಥೋಲಿಕ್ ಸಭಾ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು

ಮೇ 24 ರ ಭಾನುವಾರ ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ 8:00 ಗಂಟೆಗೆ ಮಿನಿ ಹಾಲ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಪವಿತ್ರ ಬಲಿದಾನ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದ ನಂತರ ಮೌಂಟ್ ರೋಸರಿ ಚರ್ಚ್ ಕ್ಯಾಥೋಲಿಕ್ ಸಭಾ ಘಟಕವು ಕ್ಯಾಥೋಲಿಕ್ ಸಭಾ ದಿನ 2026 ಅನ್ನು ಉತ್ಸಾಹದಿಂದ ಆಚರಿಸಿತು.

ಉಪಹಾರದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಯಿತು. ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಶ್ರೀ ಆರ್ಚಿಬಾಲ್ಡ್ ಫರ್ಟಾಡೊ ಸಭೆಯನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ನಂಬಿಕೆ, ಏಕತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯನ್ನು ಉತ್ತೇಜಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ಯಾಥೋಲಿಕ್ ಸಭೆಯ ಪಾತ್ರವನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ತೋರಿಸಿದರು. ಪ್ಯಾರಿಷ್ ಪಾದ್ರಿ ರೆವರೆಂಡ್ ಡಾ. ರೋಕ್ ಡಿಸೋಜಾ, ಸಹಾಯಕ ಪ್ಯಾರಿಷ್ ಪಾದ್ರಿ ರೆವರೆಂಡ್ ಫಾದರ್ ರೋಹನ್ ಮಸ್ಕರೇನ್ಹಾಸ್, ಡಯೋಸಿಸನ್ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಶ್ರೀ ಮೆಲ್ವಿನ್ ಅರಾನ್ಹಾ ಮತ್ತು ಇತರರು ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಗಣ್ಯರನ್ನು ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಮಾರ್ಗರೇಟ್ ಡಿಸೋಜಾ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ ವರದಿಯನ್ನು ಮಂಡಿಸಿದರು. ನಿಯೋಜಿತ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಶ್ರೀ ಟೋಲ್ಬರ್ಟ್ ಡಿಸೋಜಾ ಮತ್ತು ಐಪಿಪಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಎಲಿಯಾಸ್ ಡಿಸೋಜಾ ಭವಿಷ್ಯದ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು, ಆದರೆ ಖಜಾಂಚಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ವಿಲ್ಮಾ ರೇಗೊ ಬಜೆಟ್ ಮಂಡಿಸಿದರು.

ಹತ್ತನೇ ಮತ್ತು ಹನ್ನೆರಡನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಉತ್ತಮ ಸಾಧನೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಹದಿನೆಂಟು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಪತ್ರಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ನಗದು ಬಹುಮಾನಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಿ ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಕೊಂಕಣಿ ಪ್ರಬಂಧ ವಿಜೇತರಾದ ರೂಬೆನ್ ಡಿ’ಮೆಲ್ಲೊ ಮತ್ತು ರಿಯಾನಾ ಡಿ’ಮೆಲ್ಲೊ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸಹ ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ಜೋಶಲ್ ಡಿ’ಸೋಜಾ ಮ್ಯೂಸಿಕಲ್ ನೈಟ್ ಮತ್ತು ಎಪಿಸ್ಕೋಪಲ್ ಆರ್ಡಿನೇಷನ್ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ICYM ಮತ್ತು YCS ಸದಸ್ಯರ ಸೇವೆಗಾಗಿ ಗುರುತಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ವಾರ್ಡ್ ಗುರ್ಕರ್‌ಗಳನ್ನು ಸಹ ಶ್ಲಾಘಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಮೆಲ್ವಿನ್ ಅರಾನ್ಹಾ ಅವರು ಡಯೋಸಿಸ್‌ನ ಉನ್ನತ ಘಟಕಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅದರ ಸ್ಥಾನವನ್ನು ಗಮನಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಘಟಕದ ಏಕತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಕೊಡುಗೆಗಳನ್ನು ಶ್ಲಾಘಿಸಿದರು.

ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಕ್ಲಾರಾ ರೇಗೊ ಅವರ ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಮುಕ್ತಾಯವಾಯಿತು. ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಪ್ರಮೀಳಾ ಡಿ’ಸೋಜಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿದರು.

Catholic Sabha Day Celebrated at Mount Rosary Church

Mount Rosary Church Catholic Sabha Unit celebrated Catholic Sabha Day 2026 with enthusiasm on Sunday, 24th May, after the 8:00 a.m. Mass in the Mini Hall.
The programme began with a breakfast fellowship followed by invocation. President Mr. Archibald Furtado welcomed the gathering and highlighted the role of Catholic Sabha in promoting faith, unity, and social responsibility. Dignitaries including Parish Priest Rev. Dr. Roque D’Souza, Asst. Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Rohan Mascarenhas, Diocesan President Mr. Melwyn Aranha, and others were honoured.
Secretary Ms. Margaret D’Souza presented the annual report. President Designate Mr. Tolbert D’Souza and IPP Mr. Elias D’Souza outlined future plans, while Treasurer Ms. Wilma Rego presented the budget.
Eighteen students who excelled in Class X and XII exams were felicitated with certificates and cash prizes. Konkani essay winners Reuben D’Mello and Riyana D’Mello were also honoured.
ICYM and YCS members were recognized for their service during the Joshal D’Souza Musical Nite and Episcopal Ordination events. Ward Gurkars were also appreciated.
Chief Guest Mr. Melwyn Aranha commended the unit’s unity and contributions, noting its position among the top units in the Diocese.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Clara Rego. Ms. Pramila D’Souza compeered the event.
