Workshop on ‘From Chalk to CPT: Speaking the Language of every Generation’ Held at Milagres College Kallianpur

ಕಲ್ಯಾಣಪುರ ; ಮಿಲಾಗ್ರಿಸ್ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಐಕ್ಯೂಎಸಿ ನವೆಂಬರ್ 14, 2025 ರಂದು ಆಡಿಯೋ ವಿಷುಯಲ್ ಹಾಲ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ‘ಚಾಕ್ನಿಂದ ಸಿಪಿಟಿಗೆ: ಪ್ರತಿ ಪೀಳಿಗೆಯ ಭಾಷೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾತನಾಡುವುದು’ ಎಂಬ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರವನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿತ್ತು. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ವಿವಿಧ ತಲೆಮಾರುಗಳ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಮತ್ತು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ನಡುವಿನ ಅಂತರವನ್ನು ಕಡಿಮೆ ಮಾಡುವುದು, ವೈವಿಧ್ಯಮಯ ತಲೆಮಾರುಗಳ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ಸಂವಹನ ನಡೆಸುವ ಕೌಶಲ್ಯಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರನ್ನು ಸಜ್ಜುಗೊಳಿಸುವುದು ಗುರಿಯಾಗಿದೆ.
ಐಕ್ಯೂಎಸಿ ಸಂಯೋಜಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಶೈಲೆಟ್ ಮಥಾಯಿಸ್, ಮಿಲಾಗ್ರಿಸ್ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಕಲಿನ್ಪುರದ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಡಾ. ವಿನ್ಸೆಂಟ್ ಆಳ್ವಾ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಚಾಲನೆ ನೀಡಿದರು. ಡಾ. ಆಳ್ವಾ ಎರಡು ಒಳನೋಟವುಳ್ಳ ಅವಧಿಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದರು, ಅವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮೊದಲನೆಯದು ಬೇಬಿ ಬೂಮರ್ಸ್ನಿಂದ ಜನ್ ಆಲ್ಫಾವರೆಗಿನ ವಿವಿಧ ತಲೆಮಾರುಗಳ ಗುಣಲಕ್ಷಣಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಅನ್ವೇಷಿಸಿತು, ಪ್ರತಿ ಪೀಳಿಗೆಯ ವಿಶಿಷ್ಟ ಲಕ್ಷಣಗಳನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಲು ನಿಜ ಜೀವನದ ಉದಾಹರಣೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಕೇಸ್ ಸ್ಟಡಿಗಳನ್ನು ಬಳಸಿತು.
ಎರಡನೇ ಅಧಿವೇಶನದಲ್ಲಿ, ಡಾ. ಆಳ್ವಾ ಅವರು ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಜನ್ ಝಡ್ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ಸಂವಹನ ಮಾಡಬಹುದು ಮತ್ತು ವ್ಯವಹರಿಸಬಹುದು ಎಂಬುದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೇಂದ್ರೀಕರಿಸಿದರು, ಅವರು ಅಂತರ್ಗತವಾಗಿ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ-ಬುದ್ಧಿವಂತರು ಮತ್ತು ವಿಭಿನ್ನ ವಿಧಾನದ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿದೆ. ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ತಮ್ಮ ಬೋಧನಾ ಶೈಲಿ ಮತ್ತು ತರಗತಿಯೊಳಗೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ತೊಡಗಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಮನೋಭಾವವನ್ನು ಅಳವಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಅಗತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಅವರು ಒತ್ತಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು, ಇದು ಕಲಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಆನಂದದಾಯಕವಾಗಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.
ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಭಾಗಗಳ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರು, ಬೋಧನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಆಡಳಿತ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು, ಅವರು ಚರ್ಚೆಗಳು, ಪ್ರಕರಣ ಅಧ್ಯಯನಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಪಾತ್ರಾಭಿನಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಕ್ರಿಯವಾಗಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದರು, ಇದು ನಿಜವಾದ ಸಂವಾದಾತ್ಮಕ ಅನುಭವವಾಯಿತು. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಜ್ಞಾನ ಹಂಚಿಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ವೃತ್ತಿಪರ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಗೆ ಒಂದು ಅಮೂಲ್ಯವಾದ ವೇದಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸಿತು, ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ತಮ್ಮ ಸಂವಹನ ಕೌಶಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಲು ಮತ್ತು ತಮ್ಮ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತಮ ಸಂಪರ್ಕ ಸಾಧಿಸಲು ಅನುವು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಟ್ಟಿತು.
ಒಟ್ಟಾರೆಯಾಗಿ, ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರವು ಅದ್ಭುತ ಯಶಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಕಂಡಿತು, ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ತಮ್ಮ ಕೌಶಲ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ನವೀಕರಿಸಲು ಒಂದು ಅನನ್ಯ ಅವಕಾಶವನ್ನು ನೀಡಿತು. ಸಂವಾದಾತ್ಮಕ ಅವಧಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಆಕರ್ಷಕ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳು ಸಹಯೋಗದ ಕಲಿಕಾ ವಾತಾವರಣವನ್ನು ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸಲು ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡಿತು, ಭಾಗವಹಿಸುವವರಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮುದಾಯದ ಪ್ರಜ್ಞೆ ಮತ್ತು ಹಂಚಿಕೆಯ ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸಿತು.

Milagres College Kallianpur’s IQAC organized a workshop on ‘From Chalk to CPT: Speaking the Language of every Generation’ on November 14, 2025, at the Audio Visual Hall. The event aimed to bridge the gap between teachers and students from different generations, equipping educators with the skills to effectively communicate with students from diverse generations.
Mrs. Shylet Mathais, IQAC Coordinator, welcomed Dr. Vincent Alva, Principal of Milagres College Kallinpur, and set the tone for the workshop. Dr. Alva delivered two insightful sessions, the first of which explored the characteristics and aptitudes of different generations, from Baby Boomers to Gen Alpha, using real-life examples and case studies to illustrate the distinct traits of each generation.
In the second session, Dr. Alva focused on how teachers can effectively communicate and deal with Gen Z students, who are inherently tech-savvy and require a different approach. He emphasized the need for teachers to adapt their teaching style and aptitude to engage with students inside the classroom, making learning more effective and enjoyable.
The workshop was attended by heads of departments, teaching, and administrative staff, who actively participated in discussions, case studies, and role-plays, making it a truly interactive experience. The event provided a valuable platform for knowledge sharing and professional growth, enabling teachers to enhance their communication skills and better connect with their students.
Overall, the workshop was a resounding success, offering a unique opportunity for teachers to update their skills and knowledge. The interactive sessions and engaging activities helped to create a collaborative learning environment, fostering a sense of community and shared understanding among the participants.
