ಸಂತೆಕಟ್ಟೆ-ಕಲ್ಯಾಣಪುರ, ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್ 7, 2026: ಸಂತೆಕಟ್ಟೆ-ಕಲ್ಯಾಣಪುರದ ಮೌಂಟ್ ರೋಸರಿ ಚರ್ಚ್‌ನ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯ ಪೋಷಕಿಯ ‘ಪವಿತ್ರ ಜಪಮಾಲೆಯ ಮಾತೆ’ ಯವರ ಹಬ್ಬವನ್ನು ಬುಧವಾರ, ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್ 7 ರಂದು ಗಾಢವಾದ ನಂಬಿಕೆ, ಭಕ್ತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂತೋಷದಾಯಕ ಸಹಭಾಗಿತ್ವದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ 10.30ಕ್ಕೆ ನಡೆದ ಹಬ್ಬದ ವಿಶೇಷ ಪವಿತ್ರ ಬಲಿಪೂಜೆಯ ನೇತೃತ್ವವನ್ನು ರೆವ್. ಫಾ. ಅನಿಲ್ ಫರ್ನಾಂಡಿಸ್ (OFM Cap) ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಇವರು ಈ ಹಿಂದೆ, ರೆವ್. ಫಾ. ಫಿಲಿಪ್ ನೇರಿ ಅರನ್ಹಾ ಅವರು ಧರ್ಮಗುರುಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದಾಗ ಮತ್ತು ಚರ್ಚ್‌ನ ಹೊಸ ಕಟ್ಟಡದ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ ಕಾರ್ಯ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ (2015-16), ಈ ಚರ್ಚ್‌ನ ಸಹಾಯಕ ಧರ್ಮಗುರುಗಳಾಗಿ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದರು.’ದೇವರ ವಾಕ್ಯ’ವನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸುತ್ತಾ, ಫಾ. ಅನಿಲ್ ಸಿಲ್ವಾನೊ ಅವರು ಆಳವಾದ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ಫೂರ್ತಿದಾಯಕವಾದ ಪ್ರವಚನವನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದರು. ಜಪಮಾಲೆಯ ಮೂಲಕ ಮೇರಿ ಮಾತೆಯ ಮೇಲಿನ ಭಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಮತ್ತು ನವೀಕೃತ ಬದ್ಧತೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸುವಾರ್ತೆಯ ಸಂದೇಶವನ್ನು ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಳವಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಅವರು ಭಕ್ತರಿಗೆ ಕರೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ಅಲ್ಲದೆ, ಅವರು ‘ಮೇರಿ ಮಾತೆ – ನಮ್ಮ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ರಾಣಿ’ ಎಂಬ ಹಬ್ಬದ ಧ್ಯೇಯವಾಕ್ಯದ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಾ, ಕ್ಷಮೆ, ಸಂವಹನ ಮತ್ತು ದೇವರ ಮೇಲಿನ ನಂಬಿಕೆ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಪಾತ್ರ ವಹಿಸುವ ‘ಪವಿತ್ರ ಕುಟುಂಬ’ದ ಜೀವನದ ಘಟನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಉಲ್ಲೇಖಿಸಿ ಹೃದಯಸ್ಪರ್ಶಿ ಸಂದೇಶವನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದರು.
ಚರ್ಚ್‌ನ ಧರ್ಮಗುರುಗಳಾದ ರೆವ್. ಡಾ. ರೋಕ್ ಡಿ’ಸೋಜಾ ಅವರು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಚರ್ಚ್ ಸದಸ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಹಬ್ಬದ ಶುಭಾಶಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕೋರಿದರು. ಚರ್ಚ್ ಸಮುದಾಯದ ಈ ಸಂತೋಷದಾಯಕ ಆಚರಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ದೂರದ ಹಾಗೂ ಹತ್ತಿರದ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಿಂದ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ ಅತಿಥಿ ಧರ್ಮಗುರುಗಳು, ಮೌಂಟ್ ರೋಸರಿ ಚರ್ಚ್‌ನವರು, ನಿವೃತ್ತ ಧರ್ಮಗುರುಗಳು, ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣಪುರ ಡೀನರಿಯ ಧರ್ಮಗುರುಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಮಿಲಾಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಕ್ಯಾಥೆಡ್ರಲ್‌ನ ರೆಕ್ಟರ್ ಆಗಿರುವ ಮಾನ್ಸಿಗ್ನರ್ ಫ್ರಾನ್ಸಿಸ್ ಕ್ಸೇವಿಯರ್ ಲೂಯಿಸ್ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಅವರು ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆಯನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು.
ಸಿಎಸ್ (CS) ಕಲ್ಯಾಣಪುರ ಡೀನರಿಯ ಮಾಜಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು ಹಾಗೂ ಹಾಲಿ ಉಪಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾಗಿರುವ ಶ್ರೀ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಎಲಿಯಾಸ್ ಡಿ’ಸೋಜಾ (ಪಿರ್ಜೆಂತ್ ಕುಟುಂಬ) ಅವರ ಪ್ರಾಯೋಜಕತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಚರ್ಚ್ ಸದಸ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಲಘು ಉಪಹಾರ ಮತ್ತು ತಂಪು ಪಾನೀಯಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು; ಇದರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಹಬ್ಬದ ಸಂಭ್ರಮವು ಮುಂದುವರೆಯಿತು. ಸಂತೆಕಟ್ಟೆ-ಕಲ್ಯಾಣಪುರದ ಮೌಂಟ್ ರೋಸರಿ ಚರ್ಚ್‌ನ ‘ಕ್ಯಾಥೋಲಿಕ್ ಸಭಾ’ ಹಾಗೂ ವಿತರಣಾ ಕಾರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಮೂಲ್ಯ ಸಹಕಾರ ನೀಡಿದ ಉತ್ಸಾಹಿ ಯುವಜನರಿಗೆ ಇದು ಹೆಮ್ಮೆಯ ಕ್ಷಣವಾಗಿತ್ತು; ಅವರ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯವು ಸಮುದಾಯದ ಒಗ್ಗಟ್ಟಿನ ಭಾವನೆಯನ್ನು ಸುಂದರವಾಗಿ ಬಿಂಬಿಸಿತು.
ಈ ಸಂಭ್ರಮಾಚರಣೆಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಮೆರುಗು ಮತ್ತು ವೈಭವವನ್ನು ನೀಡುತ್ತಾ, ಬ್ರಾಸ್ ಬ್ಯಾಂಡ್ ತಂಡವು ಜನಪ್ರಿಯ ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಗೀತೆಗಳನ್ನು (hymns) ನುಡಿಸಿ ಉತ್ಸಾಹಭರಿತ ಹಬ್ಬದ ವಾತಾವರಣವನ್ನು ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿತು. ಜೋ ಮತ್ತು ಜೋವಿತಾ ಫರ್ನಾಂಡಿಸ್ ಅವರ ನೇತೃತ್ವದ ಚರ್ಚ್ ಗಾಯನ ಮಂಡಳಿಯು ತಮ್ಮ ಭಾವಪೂರ್ಣ ಗಾಯನದ ಮೂಲಕ ಮತ್ತೊಮ್ಮೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಖ್ಯಾತಿಯನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿಹಿಡಿಯಿತು; ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ಮರಿಯನ್ ಭಕ್ತಿಗೀತೆಗಳು ಪವಿತ್ರ ಬಲಿಪೂಜೆಯ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನಾಪೂರ್ಣ ಮತ್ತು ಭಕ್ತಿಪರ ವಾತಾವರಣವನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಪಾತ್ರ ವಹಿಸಿದವು.
ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆಯ ಸಂಕೇತವಾಗಿ, ಮುಖ್ಯ ಧರ್ಮಗುರುಗಳು ಶ್ರೀ ಎಲಿಯಾಸ್ ಡಿಸೋಜಾ ಅವರ ‘ಪಿರ್ಜೆಂತ್’ (Pirjenth) ಕುಟುಂಬವನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿದ ಮೇಣದಬತ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಿ ಗೌರವಿಸಿದರು.
ಸಹಾಯಕ ಧರ್ಮಗುರು ರೆವ್. ಫಾ. ರೋಹನ್ ಮಸ್ಕರೇನಸ್, ಪ್ಯಾರಿಷ್ ಪಾಲನ ಮಂಡಳಿಯ ಸದಸ್ಯರು, SRA ಕಾನ್ವೆಂಟ್‌ನ ಸಿಸ್ಟರ್ಸ್, ಮುಖ್ಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕಿ ಸಿಸ್ಟರ್ ಆನ್ಸಿಲ್ಲಾ ರೋಶ್ನಿ ಡಿಮೆಲ್ಲೊ, ಹಾಗೂ ಆರಾಧನಾ ಆಯೋಗ (Commission for Liturgy), ICYM ಮತ್ತು ತೆರೆಮರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರಮಿಸಿದ ಅನೇಕ ಪ್ಯಾರಿಷ್ ಸದಸ್ಯರು ಹಾಗೂ ಸ್ವಯಂಸೇವಕರ ಸಮರ್ಪಿತ ತಂಡದ ಕೆಲಸದ ಫಲವಾಗಿ ಈ ಸಂಭ್ರಮಾಚರಣೆಯು ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಯಿತು.
ಹೀಗೆ, ಈ ನಾಮಕರಣದ ಹಬ್ಬವು (Titular Feast) ಕೇವಲ ಒಂದು ಆಚರಣೆಯಾಗಿ ಉಳಿಯದೆ, ನಂಬಿಕೆ, ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆ, ಮರಿಯನ್ ಭಕ್ತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ಯಾರಿಷ್‌ನ ಒಗ್ಗಟ್ಟಿನ ಸುಂದರ ಅಭಿವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯಾಗಿ ಮಾರ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತು; ಇದು ‘ಹೋಲಿ ರೋಸರಿ ಮಾತೆ’ಯ (Our Lady of the Holy Rosary) ಪ್ರೀತಿಯ ಆಶ್ರಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೌಂಟ್ ರೋಸರಿ ಕುಟುಂಬವು ಒಂದಾದ ದಿನವಾಗಿತ್ತು.

Santhekatte–Kallianpur, October 7, 2026: The Titular Feast of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary, the beloved Patroness of Mount Rosary Church, Santhekatte–Kallianpur, was celebrated with deep faith, devotion and joyful fellowship on Wednesday, October 7.
The Festal Grand Mass at 10.30 a.m. was presided over by Rev. Fr Anil Fernandes, OFM Cap, who had earlier served as Assistant Priest of the parish during 2015–16, when Rev. Fr Philip Neri Aranha was the Parish Priest, and the new Church structure was under construction…..
Breaking open the ‘Word of God’, Fr. Anil Sylvano shared an insightful and inspiring homily, inviting the faithful to deepen their devotion to Mother Mary through Rosary and live the Gospel with renewed commitment.
Further he focussed on the Festal theme ‘Mother Mary Queen of our Family’ with touching incidents and life of Holy Family where pardon, communication and trust in God plays pivotal roles….’
Rev. Dr Roque D’Souza, Parish Priest, conveyed warm Festal Greetings to all parishioners and guests. He expressed his gratitude to the guest priests from far and near, native Mount Rosary, retired priests, especially the priests of Kallianpur Deanery, particularly Msgr Francis Xavier Lewis, Rector of Milagres Cathedral, for joining the parish community in its joyful celebration.
The festive spirit continued beyond the altar as warm snacks and cool drinks were served to all parishioners, sponsored by the Pirjenth family, Mr and Mrs Elias D’Souza, former President of CS and incumbent Vice President of CS Kallianpur Deanery. It’s a proud moment for the Catholic Sabha, Mount Rosary Church, Santhekatte–Kallianpur, along with enthusiastic youngsters, who rendered valuable cooperation in the distribution, turning the fellowship into a beautiful expression of community spirit.
Adding colour and grandeur to the celebration, a brass band played popular hymns, creating a vibrant festive atmosphere….
The Church Choir led by Joe and Jovita Fernandes once again lived up to its reputation with soulful singing, with the ever-green Marian hymns deserving special appreciation for enhancing the prayerful and devotional ambience of the Holy Mass.
As a token of appreciation and gratitude the Pirjenth Family of Mr Elias D’Souza was deservedly honoured with a blessed candle by the main celebrant.
The success of the celebration was the result of the dedicated teamwork of Assistant Parish Priest Rev. Fr Rohan Mascarenhas, Parish Pastoral Council members, the Sisters of the SRA Convent, HM Sr Ancilla Roshni DMello and the Commission for Liturgy, ICYM and numerous parishioners and volunteers who worked behind the scenes.
The Titular Feast thus became not merely a celebration, but a beautiful expression of faith, gratitude, Marian devotion and parish unity—a day when the Mount Rosary family came together under the loving mantle of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary.
