ಸಂತ ಅಲೋಶಿಯಸ್ ಗೊನ್ಝಾಗ ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ 2026ರ ಮಾರ್ಚ್ 12ರಂದು 12ನೇ ಕಿಂಡರ್ಗಾರ್ಟನ್ ಪದವಿ ಪ್ರದಾನ ಸಮಾರಂಭವನ್ನು ಸಂಭ್ರಮ ಸಡಗರದಿಂದ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಸಮಾರಂಭದ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಯಾಗಿ ಸೈಂಟ್ ಆನ್ಸ್ ಕಾಲೇಜ್ ಆಫ್ ಎಜುಕೇಶನ್ನ ಸಹಾಯಕ ಪ್ರಾಧ್ಯಾಪಕಿ ವಿಲ್ಮಾ ಡಿ’ಸೋಜಾ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ “ಮಕ್ಕಳು ರೂಪಿಸಬೇಕಾದ ವಸ್ತುಗಳಲ್ಲ; ಅವರು ಬೆಳೆಯಲು ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡಬೇಕಾದ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳು” ಎಂಬ ಸಂದೇಶವನ್ನು ಅವರು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಮಕ್ಕಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟದ ಸಮಯ ಕಳೆಯುವುದು, ಕುತೂಹಲವನ್ನು ಉತ್ತೇಜಿಸುವುದು, ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕಲಿಸುವುದು, ಅವರ ವೈಶಿಷ್ಟ್ಯತೆಯನ್ನು ಮೆಚ್ಚುವುದು, ಆರೋಗ್ಯಕರ ಆಹಾರ ಪದ್ಧತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಉತ್ತೇಜಿಸುವುದು ಹಾಗೂ ಪೋಷಕರು ಉತ್ತಮ ಮಾದರಿಗಳಾಗಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಒತ್ತಿಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಶಾಲೆಯ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ವಂ.ಫಾ. ರೋಹನ್ ಡಿ’ಅಲ್ಮೇಡಾ ಪದವಿ ಪಡೆದ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಅಭಿನಂದನೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿ, ದೊಡ್ಡ ಕನಸುಗಳನ್ನು ಕಾಣಲು ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸಿದರು. ಜೀವನವು ಆರಾಮ ವಲಯದಿಂದ ಸವಾಲಿನ ವಲಯದತ್ತ ಸಾಗುವ ಪ್ರಯಾಣವೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿ, ಪೋಷಕರು, ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರ ಬೆಂಬಲದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಧೈರ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಸವಾಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಎದುರಿಸಲು ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಿಸಿದರು.
ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಗಣ್ಯರು ಮತ್ತು ಪದವಿ ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಆಕರ್ಷಕ ಪದವಿ ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆಯು ವಿಶೇಷ ಆಕರ್ಷಣೆಯನ್ನು ತಂದಿತು. ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ 96 ಕೆಜಿ–II ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಪದವಿ ಸ್ಮರಣಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಿ ಗೌರವಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಪೋಷಕರು ಮತ್ತು ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರಿಗೆ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸುವ ಮನಮುಟ್ಟುವ “ಥ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ಯು” ಹಾಡನ್ನು ಕೂಡ ಹಾಡಿದರು.
ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಾದ ಮಾಹೀರಾ ಮರಿಯಂ, ಏಜೇಕ್ ಜೋಹ್ ಡಿಸೋಜಾ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಾಶಾ ಎಮಿಲಿ ಡಿಸೋಜಾ ತಮ್ಮ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯಗಳನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಶಾಲೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಎರಡನೇ ಮನೆಯಂತಿದ್ದು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಹಲವು ವಿಷಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕಲಿತು ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೆಮ್ಮೆಯಿಂದ ಪದವಿ ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವುದಾಗಿ ಮಾಹೀರಾ ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಏಜೇಕ್ ಜೋಹ್ ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿನ ತನ್ನ ಸಂತೋಷಕರ ಕಲಿಕಾ ಪ್ರಯಾಣವನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಸಾಶಾ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಸೃಜನಾತ್ಮಕ ಕಲಿಕಾ ವಿಧಾನಗಳನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಹಂಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು. ಮೂವರು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳೂ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರು, ಉಪ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರು, ಕಿಂಡರ್ಗಾರ್ಟನ್ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಮತ್ತು ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗೆ ಹೃತ್ಪೂರ್ವಕ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು.
ಪೋಷಕರೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯಗಳನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಜೋರ್ಡನ್ ಮಾರ್ಕ್ ಸಾಲ್ಡಾನ್ಹಾ ಅವರ ತಾಯಿ ಕರೇನ್ ಸಾಲ್ಡಾನ್ಹಾ ಕೆಜಿ–II ಪೋಷಕರ ಪರವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಬೆಳೆಸಿದ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರು, ಉಪ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರು, ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಹಾಗೂ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗೆ ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ಅಗಸ್ತ್ಯ ಸೋಘಿತ್ ಅವರ ತಂದೆ ಸೋಘಿತ್ ಇ.ಕೆ. ತಮ್ಮ ಮಗುವಿನ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಸಂತೋಷ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿ, ನಗರದ ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಶಾಲೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದನ್ನು ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಹೆಮ್ಮೆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು. ಖದೀಜಾ ಅವರ ತಂದೆ ಸಲ್ಮಾನ್ ಯುನಸ್ ಚಮಾಡಿಯಾ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ನಗುವಿನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಕೆಲವೊಮ್ಮೆ ಕಣ್ಣೀರು ಸಹಿತ ಶಾಲೆಗೆ ಬಂದವರು ಈಗ ಆತ್ಮವಿಶ್ವಾಸದಿಂದ ಬೆಳೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಸಂತೋಷಪಟ್ಟರು.
ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ವಿಶೇಷ ಆಕರ್ಷಣೆಯಾಗಿ ಪೋಷಕರು ಬೋರ್ಡ್ ಮೇಲೆ ಅಂಟಿಸಿದ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ತಮ್ಮ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸುವ ಮನರಂಜನಾತ್ಮಕ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆ ನಡೆಯಿತು.
ವೆರೋನಿಕಾ ಡಿ’ಸೋಜಾ ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿದರೆ ಏವರಿಲ್ ರೆಬೆಲ್ಲೋ ಧನ್ಯವಾದ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಿದರು.
ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಮಿಶಾಲ್ ಕಾರೇಲ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾ ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿದರು. ಉಪ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಲಾರೆಲ್ ಡಿಸೋಜಾ ಮತ್ತು ಅಪರ್ಣಾ ಸುರೇಶ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಸಂಯೋಜಕರಾದ ಏವರಿಲ್ ರೆಬೆಲ್ಲೋ, ವೆರೋನಿಕಾ ಡಿಸೋಜಾ ಮತ್ತು ದಯನೋರಾ ಜಾಯ್ಸ್ ವೇದಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.
ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಗೀತೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಸಮಾಪ್ತಿಯಾಯಿತು.

St Aloysius Gonzaga School Celebrates 12th Kindergarten Graduation Ceremony 2026 with Joy and Pride
St Aloysius Gonzaga School organized its 12th Kindergarten Graduation Ceremony on 12 March 2026 with great joy and pride. The Chief Guest, Ms. Vilma D’Souza, Assistant Professor at St. Ann’s College of Education, addressed the gathering and shared the message, “Children are not things to be molded, but people to be unfolded.” She emphasized the importance of nurturing children by spending quality time with them, encouraging curiosity, teaching values, appreciating their uniqueness, promoting healthy food habits, and being positive role models.
Principal Rev. Fr. Rohan D’Almeida congratulated the young graduates and encouraged them to dream big. He reminded them that life is a journey from the comfort zone to the risk zone and urged them to step beyond the comfort zone and face challenges confidently with the support of parents, teachers, and friends.
The programme commenced with an attractive graduation procession of the dignitaries and the graduating students, adding colour and dignity to the ceremony. This was followed by a meaningful prayer service and the lighting of the lamp. The ceremony honoured 96 KG-II graduates, who received mementos from the dignitaries. The graduates also presented a heart-warming “Thank You Song”, expressing their gratitude to their parents and teachers.
Ms. Veronica D’Souza welcomed the gathering.
Students Maahira Maryam, Ejek Joah D’Souza, and Sasha Emily D’Souza shared their views. Maahira expressed how the school became a second home where they learned many things, made friends, and proudly graduated. Ejek Joah shared his joyful learning journey at Gonzaga School with happiness and pride. Sasha spoke about the creative learning methods she experienced at school and highlighted the importance of sharing. All three students expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Principal, Vice Principals, kindergarten teachers, and support staff.
Parents also shared their thoughts on the occasion. Mrs. Karen Saldanha, parent of Jordan Mark Saldanha, on behalf of the KG II parents, expressed gratitude to the Principal, Vice Principals, teachers, and staff for nurturing the children with love and guidance, helping them grow into confident graduates ready to dream big.
Mr. Sogith E. K, parent of Agasthi Sogith, expressed happiness in witnessing his child’s growth at Gonzaga and felt proud to have chosen one of the best schools in the city while appreciating the teachers’ contribution to the children’s development.
Mr. Salman Yunus Chamadiya, parent of Khadeeja, shared that children who entered the school with bright smiles and sometimes tears have now blossomed into confident individuals, a transformation made possible through the patience and dedication of the entire school community.
A special highlight of the programme was a fun activity where parents identified their child’s eyes from pictures pasted on the board.
The ceremony was compered by Ms. Mishal Carel Crasta, and the vote of thanks was proposed by Ms. Averyl Rebello.
The Chief Guest, Principal, Vice Principals Ms. Laurel D’Souza and Ms. Aparna Suresh, and programme coordinators Ms. Averyl Rebello, Ms. Veronica D’Souza, and Ms. Dayonora Joyce were present on the dais.
The programme concluded with the National Anthem, followed by a group photograph and refreshments for all.
