ಮೈಸೂರು; ಮೈಸೂರು ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಹಳೆಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಸಂಘ (ರಿ) ಇವರಿಂದ 30 ಮೇ 2026 ರಂದು ನಡೆಸ್ಪಟ್ಟ “ಮಾ ಉತ್ಸವ 2026” ಈ ಉತ್ಸವದಂದು ಮೈಸೂರು ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಹಳೆಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಯಾದ ಡಾ.ಎಕ್ಸ್ ಎ ಡಿಸೋಜಾ ರವರಿಗೆ “ವಿಶಿಷ್ಟ ಹಳೆಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ” (ಭಿನ್ನವತ್ತಳೆ) ಎಂಬ ಬಿರುದನ್ನು ನೀಡಿ ಗೌರವಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ಸಮಾಜ ಮತ್ತು ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ವೃತ್ತಿಗೆ ಅವರ ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಕೊಡುಗೆಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ಸಾಧನೆಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಮೈಸೂರು ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಕಾಲೇಜಿಗೆ ಗೌರವ ಮತ್ತು ಮನ್ನಣೆಯನ್ನು ತಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಅಲ್ಲದೆ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮರ್ಪಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ವಿಶಿಷ್ಟತೆಯಿಂದ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ರೋಗಿಗಳು, ಸಹೋದ್ಯೋಗಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ವಿಶಾಲ ಸಮುದಾಯದಿಂದ ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆಯನ್ನು ಗಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ರಕ್ಷಣೆ, ವೃತ್ತಿಪರ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠತೆ, ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಸೇವೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮಾನವೀಯ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳಿಗೆ ಅವರ ಬದ್ಧತೆಯು ಅವರನ್ನು ಭವಿಷ್ಯದ ಪೀಳಿಗೆಯ ವೈದ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಮಾದರಿಯನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದೆಯೆಂದು, ಅವರ ಈ ಗಮನಾರ್ಹ ಸಾಧನೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಅಮೂಲ್ಯ ಸೇವೆಯನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಿ, ಮೈಸೂರು ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಹಳೆಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಸಂಘವು ಇವರನ್ನು “ವಿಶಿಷ್ಟ ಹಳೆಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ” ಎಂಬ ಬಿರುದು ನೀಡಿ ಗೌರವಿಸಿದೆ.
