ಸಂಜೆ 6:00 ಗಂಟೆಗೆ, ಹಬ್ಬದ ಉತ್ಸಾಹವು ಮಿಲೇನಿಯಮ್ ಆಡಿಟೋರಿಯಂಗೆ ಸ್ಥಳಾಂತರಗೊಂಡಿತು, ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ತ್ರೀ ಸಂಘಟನ್ನ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಮೋನಿಕಾ ಕಾರ್ನೆಲಿಯೊ ಅವರು ಸೊಬಗು ಮತ್ತು ಸೊಬಗಿನಿಂದ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ ನೀಡಿದರು. ಸ್ತ್ರೀ ಸಂಘಟನ್ನ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷೆ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ನೊರೀನ್ ಲೆವಿಸ್ ಅವರು ಹೃತ್ಪೂರ್ವಕ ಸ್ವಾಗತವನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದರು, ಇದು ಪ್ರತಿಬಿಂಬ, ಮನರಂಜನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಒಗ್ಗಟ್ಟಿನ ಸಂಜೆಗೆ ನಾಂದಿ ಹಾಡಿತು.

Mount Rosary Church, Gloriously Celebrates ‘Mother’s Jubilee 2025’ with Love, Gratitude, and Grandeur
Santhekatte, Kallianpur | September 20, 2025. Mount Rosary Church came alive with color, devotion, and joy as it celebrated the much-awaited Mother’s Jubilee 2025 on Saturday, September 20th. The Millennium Auditorium sparkled in festive décor—bright buntings, flowers, and lights—symbolizing love, gratitude, and reverence towards mothers, whose presence filled the venue with grace and warmth.
A Solemn Beginning:
The day’s celebration began with a Thanksgiving Holy Mass at 4:30 pm in the spacious church, which was overflowing with women clad in colorful attire and traditional jewelry. The Eucharistic celebration was led by Rev. Fr. Rohan Muscarenhas, Assistant Parish Priest, as the main celebrant. The liturgy, animated by Stree Sanghatan and Laity Commission members, and the melodious choir added deep devotion, making the Mass truly prayerful and participative.
The Stage Celebration:
At 6:00 pm, the festive spirit moved to the Millennium Auditorium, where Mrs. Monica Cornelio, Secretary of Stree Sanghatan, compeered with grace and elegance. Mrs. Noreen Lewis, President of Stree Sanghatan, extended a heartfelt welcome, setting the tone for an evening of reflection, entertainment, and togetherness.
Dignitaries and Guests of Honour:
The stage was graced by a distinguished line-up of guests:
Rev. Fr. Rohan Muscarenhas, who presided over the program and later shared an inspiring Presidential Address on the significance of Mother’s Jubilee.
Mrs. Veronica Cornelio, noted community leader and social worker, who as the Chief Guest and Resource Person, delivered a motivational address filled with wisdom and practical tips for young, middle-aged, and senior mothers. She also expressed her happiness to be a part such a beautiful participation and involvement and extended Jubilee Greetings to all gathered.
Mrs. Priya Furtado, President of Stree Sanghatan Kallianpur Varado and dynamic Gen. Secretary of PPC, always admired for her committed leadership.
Sr. Elveena, Superior of Goretti SRA Convent, for her gracious presence.
Mr. Luke D’Souza, Vice President of PPC, and Mrs. Daisy Mendonca, Convener of the 20 Commissions of Mount Rosary Church.
Mr. P. Archibald Furtado, President of Catholic Sabha, co-sponsors of the Jubilee, and Mrs. Noreen Lewis, President of Stree Sanghatan, the prime organizers of this memorable event.
Honoring Mothers and Leaders:
The emotional highlight of the evening was the honoring of mothers. Mrs. Annie Cornelio, proud mother of Rev. Fr. Anil Cornelio, was felicitated with a traditional shawl, fruit basket, roses, and a memento.
This was followed by the recognition of four distinguished Stree Sanghatan leaders who rendered exemplary service at the Deanery and Diocesan levels:
Mrs. Beena Lewis, Mrs. Anita Dias, Mrs. Jyothy Lewis and Mrs Asha Rocky DSouza
Each honoree was introduced by Mrs. Monica Cornelio and felicitated with a shawl, fruit basket, and roses.
Special acknowledgment was also extended to the generous donors and contributors, whose support made the celebration a resounding success.
The Presidential Address:
In his thought-provoking address, Rev. Fr. Rohan Muscarenhas beautifully illustrated the sacrificial love, faith, and nurturing spirit of mothers. He compared mothers to living reflections of God’s unconditional love—ever patient, forgiving, and giving. Drawing from touching examples, he highlighted how mothers silently carry burdens, instill values, and guide families with prayer and perseverance. His words deeply resonated with the gathering, drawing warm applause and heartfelt appreciation.
A Blend of Culture and Fellowship:
The evening unfolded with vibrant cultural performances, fun-filled games, and entertainment—all meticulously presented by the Stree Sanghatan members. The celebration reached its warm conclusion with a delicious dinner, lovingly prepared by the women themselves, which brought together more than 250 participants in joyful fellowship.

To bring the grand evening to a close, Mr. Archibald Furtado, President of the Catholic Sabha and Convener of the Laity Commission, expressed heartfelt congratulations to all the mothers of Mount Rosary Parish. In his Vote of Thanks, he acknowledged the tireless efforts of the Stree Sanghatan and all who contributed to making Mother’s Jubilee 2025 an unforgettable and spiritually uplifting event.
