ಮಂಗಳೂರು ; “ಲಿಂಗ ಸಮಾನತೆ ಮತ್ತು ನ್ಯಾಯ” ಕುರಿತ ಪ್ರೇರಣಾದಾಯಕ ತಂಡ ತರಬೇತಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು 2025ರ ನವೆಂಬರ್ 17ರಂದು ಸಿಒಡಿಪಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. KROSS ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಹಾಗೂ CODP®️ ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಸಹಯೋಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹಿಳಾ ಸದೃಢೀಕರಣ ಯೋಜನೆ ಘಟಕದಡಿ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಜರುಗಿತು.

ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಜಶೇಖರ್, ಸಂಯೋಜಕ – ಮಹಿಳಾ ಸದೃಢೀಕರಣ ಯೋಜನೆ (KROSS, ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು), ಡಾ. ರೋಹನ್ ಎಸ್. ಮೊನಿಸ್, ಮುಖ್ಯ ಆಡಳಿತಾಧಿಕಾರಿ – ಕಣಚೂರು ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಶೋಧನಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ದೇರಳಕಟ್ಟೆ ಹಾಗೂ CODP ಲಿಂಗ ಸಮಾನತೆ ಮತ್ತು ನ್ಯಾಯ ಬಾಹ್ಯ ತಂಡದ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರು ಮತ್ತು ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಕೆನರಾ ಕ್ಯಾಥೊಲಿಕ್ ಅಸೋಸಿಯೇಶನ್‌ನ ಉಪಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು, ಕು. ಮರ್ಲಿನ್ ಮಾರ್ಟಿಸ್ – ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕಿ, ಡೀಡ್ಸ್ ಸೋಷಿಯಲ್ ಸರ್ವಿಸ್; ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಸೀಮಾ – ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ, ಮಾನಿನಿ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಮಹಿಳಾ ಮಹಾಸಂಘ ಹಾಗೂ ರೆ। ವಿನ್ಸೆಂಟ್ ಡಿಸೋಜಾ – ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರು, CODP ಇವರ ಸಾನ್ನಿಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯಾದ ಮರ್ಲಿನ್ ಮಾರ್ಟಿಸ್ ಅವರು ಲಿಂಗ ಸಮಾನತೆ ಮತ್ತು ನ್ಯಾಯದ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿ, ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇದರ ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿ ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪಾಲಕರು ತಮ್ಮ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಬಾಲ್ಯದಿಂದಲೇ ನೀಡಬೇಕಾದ ಜಾಗೃತಿಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. CODP ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವ ಆಂತರಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಬಾಹ್ಯ ತಂಡಗಳು ಸಮುದಾಯ ಮಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ತರಬೇತಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಲು ಹೇಗೆ ಪರಸ್ಪರ ಸಹಕರಿಸಬಹುದು ಎಂಬುದನ್ನೂ ಅವರು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು. ಸಮತೋಲಿತ ಮತ್ತು ಸುಸಂಸ್ಕೃತ ಸಮಾಜದ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಪುರುಷರು ಮತ್ತು ಮಹಿಳೆಯರು ಇಬ್ಬರೂ ಅವಿಭಾಜ್ಯ ಅಂಗಗಳೆಂದು ಅವರು ಒತ್ತಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು.

ಮಹಿಳಾ ಸದೃಢೀಕರಣ ಯೋಜನೆಯ ಸಂಯೋಜಕಿ ಸುಪ್ರಿಯಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಿದರು. ರೆ। ವಿನ್ಸೆಂಟ್ ಡಿಸೋಜಾ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿದರು. ಡಾ. ರೋಹನ್ ಮೊನಿಸ್ ಅವರು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದವರಿಗೆ ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿ, ಸಮಾಜದಲ್ಲಿ ಲಿಂಗ ಅಸಮಾನತೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಸಕಾರಾತ್ಮಕ ಧ್ವನಿಯಾಗಿ ನಿಲ್ಲಲು ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸಿದರು. ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಸೀಮಾ ಧನ್ಯವಾದ ಸೂಚಿಸಿದರು

Motivational Team Training on “Gender Equality and Justice” at CODP

Mangalore ; The “Gender Equality and Justice” Motivational Team Training was organized at CODP on November 17, 2025; in collaboration with KROSS Bangalore and CODP ®️ Mangalore, under the ‘Women Empowerment Project’ wing.

The event was inaugurated in the august presence of:

– Mr. Rajshekhar – Coordinator, Women Empowerment Project, KROSS Bangalore;

– Dr. Rohan S. Monis – Chief Administrative Officer, Kanachur Hospital & Research Centre, Deralakatte; Head of the External Team for Gender Equality and Justice, CODP & Vice President – Catholic Association of South KANARA;

– ⁠Ms. Merlin Martis – Director, Deeds Social Service;

– ⁠Mrs. Seema – Secretary, Manini State Women’s Federation and

– ⁠Fr. Vincent D Souza – Director, CODP.

Ms. Merlin Martis, the resource person – spoke about gender equality and justice; emphasizing its management within families and the awareness parents should impart to their children from a very young age. She explained how internal and external teams under CODP’s Gender Equality and Justice can collaborate to organize training and programs for the communities at large; as both men & women are vital for the existence of a happy & mindful community.

The program was compered by Ms. Supriya – Coordinator, Women Empowerment Project. Fr. Vincent D Souza welcomed the guests. Dr Rohan Monis thanked the participants for their time & encouraged them to be a positive voice in the society – against Gender Inequality. Mrs. Seema proposed a vote of thanks.

The thought provoking discussions with proactive interactions pushed the thought for the need for a focused approach and awareness on Gender Inequality in the society at large.
