ಎಂ.ಸಿ.ಸಿ. ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ವತಿಯಿಂದ 28 ಮೇ 2026 ರಂದು ಸಂಜೆ 6:00 ಗಂಟೆಗೆ ಯರ್ಮಾಳಿನ ಪೆನಿನ್ಸುಲಾ ಡೆಲ್ ಮಾರ್ನಲ್ಲಿ “ಇಂಪ್ರಿಂಟ್ಸ್ ಅಂಡ್ ಇಂಪ್ರೆಶನ್ಸ್” ಎಂಬ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಅಯೋಹಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕಿನ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು, ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರು, ಶಾಖಾ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಾಪಕರು, ಗಣ್ಯರು, ಧರ್ಮಗುರುಗಳು, ಚಾರ್ಟರ್ಡ್ ಅಕೌಂಟೆಂಟ್ಸ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಮಾಜದ ವಿವಿಧ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಗಳ ವಿಶಿಷ್ಟ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.
ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆಯನ್ನು ಬ್ಯಾಂಕಿನ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಸಹಕಾರ ರತ್ನ ಶ್ರೀ ಅನಿಲ್ ಲೋಬೋ ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಉಡುಪಿ ಧರ್ಮಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯದ ಧರ್ಮಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಪರಮ ಪೂಜ್ಯ ಡಾ| ಲೆಸ್ಲಿ ಕ್ಲಿಫರ್ಡ್ ಡಿಸೋಜಾ ಹಾಗೂ ಉಡುಪಿ ಧರ್ಮಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯದ ನಿವೃತ್ತ ಧರ್ಮಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಪರಮ ಪೂಜ್ಯ ಡಾ| ಜೆರಾಲ್ಡ್ ಐಸಾಕ್ ಲೋಬೋ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು. ಎನ್ಆರ್ಐ ಉದ್ಯಮಿ ಹಾಗೂ ದಾನಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಮೈಕಲ್ ಡಿಸೋಜಾ ಕೂಡ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
ಎಂ.ಸಿ.ಸಿ. ಬ್ಯಾಂಕಿನ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಸಹಕಾರ ರತ್ನ ಶ್ರೀ ಅನಿಲ್ ಲೋಬೋ ತಮ್ಮ ಸ್ವಾಗತ ಭಾಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಡುಪಿ ಧರ್ಮಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯದ ನೂತನ ಧರ್ಮಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಪರಮ ಪೂಜ್ಯ ಡಾ| ಲೆಸ್ಲಿ ಕ್ಲಿಫರ್ಡ್ ಡಿಸೋಜಾ ಹಾಗೂ ನಿವೃತ್ತ ಧರ್ಮಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಪರಮ ಪೂಜ್ಯ ಡಾ| ಜೆರಾಲ್ಡ್ ಐಸಾಕ್ ಲೋಬೋ ಅವರನ್ನು ಹೃತ್ಪೂರ್ವಕವಾಗಿ ಅಭಿನಂದಿಸಿದರು. ಅವರು ಚರ್ಚ್ ಸಮುದಾಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಕಳೆದ ಸ್ಮರಣೀಯ ಕ್ಷಣಗಳನ್ನು ನೆನಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು, ಬ್ಯಾಂಕಿನ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರು, ಹಿರಿಯ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಶಾಖಾ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಾಪಕರ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಮೆಚ್ಚಿ, ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯನ್ನು ಬಲಪಡಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಎಂ.ಸಿ.ಸಿ. ಬ್ಯಾಂಕಿನ ಪರಂಪರೆ ಮತ್ತು ದೃಷ್ಟಿಕೋನವನ್ನು ಮುಂದುವರಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ಪಾತ್ರವನ್ನು ಶ್ಲಾಘಿಸಿದರು.
ಶ್ರೀ ಅನಿಲ್ ಲೋಬೋ ಅವರು ಉಡುಪಿ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಂ.ಸಿ.ಸಿ. ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ವೇಗವಾಗಿ ಸಾಧಿಸಿರುವ ಪ್ರಗತಿಯನ್ನು ಹೆಮ್ಮೆಯಿಂದ ಉಲ್ಲೇಖಿಸಿ, ಹಿಂದೆ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ಮಂಡಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉಡುಪಿ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಿಂದ ಕೇವಲ ಒಬ್ಬ ಸದಸ್ಯರಿದ್ದರೆ, ಇಂದು ಉಪಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಜೆರಾಲ್ಡ್ ಜೂಡ್ ಸಿಲ್ವಾ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಮೂವರು ಸದಸ್ಯರು ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಅವರು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರ ನಾಯಕತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಡುಪಿ ಧರ್ಮಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯದ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಎಂ.ಸಿ.ಸಿ. ಬ್ಯಾಂಕಿನ ಶಾಖೆಗಳ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ 4ರಿಂದ 8ಕ್ಕೆ ಏರಿಕೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಶೀಘ್ರದಲ್ಲೇ ಕಟಪಾಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಸ ಶಾಖೆಯನ್ನು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು ಘೋಷಿಸಿದರು. ಈ ವಿಸ್ತರಣೆಯ ಹಿಂದೆ ಬಿಷಪ್ಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಧರ್ಮಗುರುಗಳ ನಿರಂತರ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದ ಮತ್ತು ಬೆಂಬಲವೇ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಕಾರಣ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.

ಸಭೆಯನ್ನು ಉದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಪರಮ ಪೂಜ್ಯ ಡಾ| ಲೆಸ್ಲಿ ಕ್ಲಿಫರ್ಡ್ ಡಿಸೋಜಾ ಅವರು ಎಂ.ಸಿ.ಸಿ. ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್, ಅದರ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು, ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರು, ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಹಿತೈಷಿಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಹೃತ್ಪೂರ್ವಕ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು. “ಸ್ವಾರ್ಥವಲ್ಲ ಸೇವೆ”, “ವಹಿವಾಟಲ್ಲ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸ”, “ಲಾಭವಲ್ಲ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ” ಎಂಬ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳು ಅಳವಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಒತ್ತಿಹೇಳಿದರು. ಈ ತತ್ವಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಷ್ಠೆಯಿಂದ ಅನುಸರಿಸಿದಾಗ ಮಾತ್ರ ನಿಜವಾದ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಸಾಧ್ಯವೆಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ಅವರು ಉಡುಪಿ ಧರ್ಮಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮಾಜದ ಕುರಿತ ತಮ್ಮ ಕನಸುಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಆಶಯಗಳನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊAಡರು. ಬಿಷಪ್ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಲಯದ ಸ್ಥಾಪನೆ, ಭವಿಷ್ಯದ ಆಧ್ಯಾತ್ಮಿಕ ನಾಯಕರನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸುವುದು, ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟದ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಬಡವರು ಮತ್ತು ಹಿಂದುಳಿದವರಿಗೆ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣದ ಕನಸನ್ನೂ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು. ಕೃತಕ ಬುದ್ಧಿಮತ್ತೆ ಮತ್ತು ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನಗಳ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ಒಪ್ಪಿಕೊಂಡ ಅವರು, ಅವು ಮಾನವ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಬಳಸಲ್ಪಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಎಂ.ಸಿ.ಸಿ. ಬ್ಯಾಂಕಿಗೆ ಧರ್ಮಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯದ ನಿರಂತರ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದ ಮತ್ತು ಬೆಂಬಲ ಇರಲಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಭರವಸೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ಪ್ರೇರಣಾದಾಯಕ ಸಂದೇಶ ನೀಡಿದ ನಿವೃತ್ತ ಧರ್ಮಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಪರಮ ಪೂಜ್ಯ ಡಾ| ಜೆರಾಲ್ಡ್ ಐಸಾಕ್ ಲೋಬೋ ಅವರು ಇಂತಹ ಅರ್ಥಪೂರ್ಣ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿದ ಎಂ.ಸಿ.ಸಿ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್ಗೆ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು. ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಯಶಸ್ವಿ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗೆ ದೃಢವಾದ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಕೋನ ಮತ್ತು ಧ್ಯೇಯ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿದ್ದು, ಎಂ.ಸಿ.ಸಿ. ಬ್ಯಾಂಕಿನ ಸಾಧನೆಗಳು ಅದರ ಸಷ್ಟ ಉದ್ದೇಶ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮಾಜಮುಖಿ ಬದ್ಧತೆಯ ಫಲವೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿ. ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ವರ್ಷವನ್ನು ಬಡವರಿಗಾಗಿ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ ಪರಮ ಪೂಜ್ಯ ಡಾ| ಐಸಾಕ್ ಲೋಬೋ ಅವರು ಸಮಾಜಕ್ಕೆ ಮರಳಿ ಕೊಡುವ ಅಭ್ಯಾಸ ಬೆಳೆಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಯನ್ನು ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಸೇವೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಲು ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಿಸಿದರು. ಸಮಾಜದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರೂ ಬಡವರಾಗಿ ಉಳಿಯಬಾರದು ಎಂಬುದು ತಮ್ಮ ದೀರ್ಘಕಾಲದ ಕನಸು ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿ, ಸಬಲೀಕರಣ ಮತ್ತು ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಗಾಗಿ ಒಗ್ಗಟ್ಟಿನ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನ ಅಗತ್ಯವೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಎಂ.ಸಿ.ಸಿ. ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ಮುಂದಿನ ವರ್ಷðಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಹೊಂದಲಿ ಎಂದು ಹಾರೈಸಿದರು.
ತಮ್ಮ ಭಾಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಮೈಕಲ್ ಡಿಸೋಜಾ ಅವರು ಬ್ಯಾಂಕಿಂಗ್ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸ ಮತ್ತು ಗ್ರಾಹಕ ಸಂಬಂಧಗಳ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ಒತ್ತಿಹೇಳಿದರು. ಗ್ರಾಹಕರು ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯನ್ನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ನಂಬಬೇಕು ಮತ್ತು ಅದರ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಟ ರಾಯಭಾರಿಗಳಾಗಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. 2018ರ ನಂತರ ಎಂ.ಸಿ.ಸಿ. ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ಸಾಧಿಸಿರುವ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಶ್ಲಾಘಿಸಿ, ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು, ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರು, ಆಡಳಿತ ಮಂಡಳಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗೆ ಅಭಿನಂದನೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿ ಮುಂದಿನ ವರ್ಷಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕಿನ ಠೇವಣಿಗಳು, ಸಾಲಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಒಟ್ಟು ವ್ಯವಹಾರ ಗಣನೀಯವಾಗಿ ವೃದ್ಧಿಯಾಗಲಿದೆ ಎಂದು ವಿಶ್ವಾಸ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು. ಒಗ್ಗಟ್ಟು ಮತ್ತು ಸಮೂಹ ಬದ್ಧತೆಯೇ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯನ್ನು ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಎತ್ತರಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಂಡೊಯ್ಯಲಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಪರಮ ಪೂಜ್ಯ ಡಾ| ಐಸಾಕ್ ಲೋಬೋ ಅವರ ದೂರದೃಷ್ಟಿಯ ನಾಯಕತ್ವವನ್ನು ಶ್ಲಾಘಿಸಿ, ಉಡುಪಿ ಧರ್ಮಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಭಾರತದ ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಧರ್ಮಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದೆಂದು ವರ್ಣಿಸಿ ಎಂ.ಸಿ.ಸಿ. ಬ್ಯಾಂಕಿನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಭವಿಷ್ಯದ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಸಮಾಜಮುಖಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳಿಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ನಿರಂತರ ಬೆಂಬಲ ಇರಲಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಭರವಸೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.

An evening marked by inspiration, gratitude, and visionary leadership unfolded at Peninsula Del Mar, Yermal, during the prestigious programme “Imprints and Impressions” organised by MCC Bank on 28th May 2026. The event witnessed the presence of the Bank’s Chairman, Directors, Branch Managers, clergy, Chartered Accountants, dignitaries, and distinguished guests from various walks of life.
The programme was presided over by Sahakara Ratna Shri Anil Lobo, Chairman of MCC Bank. The Chief Guests were Most Rev. Dr Leslie Clifford D’Souza, Bishop of Udupi Diocese, and Most Rev. Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo, Bishop Emeritus of Udupi Diocese. Renowned NRI entrepreneur and philanthropist Mr. Michael D’Souza was also present on the occasion.
Welcoming the gathering, Chairman Shri Anil Lobo extended a warm welcome to the dignitaries, particularly the newly ordained Bishop of Udupi Diocese, Most Rev. Highlighting the Bank’s remarkable progress in the Udupi region, the Chairman stated that representation from the Udupi region on the Board of Directors had increased from one Director in the past to three Directors today, including Vice Chairman Mr Jerald Jude Silva. He further stated that under the present management, the number of MCC Bank branches in the Udupi Diocese had increased from four to eight and announced that a new branch would soon be inaugurated at Katapady. He attributed the growth and expansion of the Bank to the blessings, encouragement, and support extended by the Bishops, clergy, customers, and well-wishers.
The Chairman also recalled the support and encouragement extended by Most Rev. Dr Leslie Clifford D’Souza during his earlier pastoral assignments and appreciated his commitment towards community welfare and strengthening local institutions. Referring to Bishop Emeritus Most Rev. Dr. Gerald Isaac Lobo, the Chairman shared his long association with him and acknowledged his guidance in formulating the Vision, Mission, and Objectives of MCC Bank, which continue to guide the institution in its growth and service.
He also paid tribute to Mr Michael D’Souza, NRI entrepreneur and philanthropist, appreciating his continued support, guidance, and encouragement to the Bank and its community initiatives.
One of the major highlights of the programme was the grand felicitation accorded to Most Rev. Dr. Leslie Clifford D’Souza on his appointment as Bishop of Udupi Diocese. The gathering also felicitated Most Rev. Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo in recognition of his exemplary spiritual leadership and immense contribution to society and the Diocese.
Addressing the gathering, Most Rev. Dr Leslie Clifford D’Souza expressed his appreciation to MCC Bank, its Chairman, Directors, staff, and well-wishers for organising the programme. He commended the Bank’s commitment towards community development and social responsibility and emphasised the guiding principles of “Service not Self”, “Trust not Transactions”, and “Person not Profit”. He stated that institutions could achieve meaningful growth only when they remained committed to these values.
The Bishop further shared his vision for the Diocese, including the establishment of the Bishop’s Secretariat, promotion of priestly and religious vocations, strengthening educational institutions, and establishing a hospital dedicated to serving the poor and underprivileged. He also highlighted the importance of using modern technology and Artificial Intelligence responsibly for the welfare and upliftment of humanity. He assured the Diocese’s continued support and blessings for MCC Bank and its future endeavours.
In his address, Bishop Emeritus Most Rev. Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo thanked MCC Bank for organising such a meaningful and community-oriented programme. He observed that after Mother, Mother Tongue, and Motherland, MCC Bank had become an institution deeply connected with the people. He stressed the importance of having a clear vision and mission for every successful institution and noted that MCC Bank’s achievements were the result of its commitment to society and clarity of purpose.
He encouraged the gathering to work collectively for the welfare of the community and emphasised the importance of supporting the poor and underprivileged. Referring to the current year as a year dedicated to the poor, he urged everyone to contribute towards social causes and welfare initiatives. He also informed the gathering that, following discussions with auditors, instructions had been given to parishes in the Diocese to maintain their accounts with MCC Bank and encouraged the faithful to support the Bank. He concluded by wishing continued growth, prosperity, and success to MCC Bank.
Mr Michael D’Souza, in his address, highlighted the importance of trust and strong customer relationships in the banking sector. He stated that customers should become ambassadors of the institution and appreciated the remarkable progress achieved by MCC Bank since 2018. Congratulating the Chairman, Directors, Management, and staff, he expressed confidence that the Bank would achieve greater growth in deposits, advances, and overall business in the coming years. He also appreciated the visionary leadership of Most Rev. Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo and assured MCC Bank of his continued support.
The programme commenced with a prayer led by bank staff. Director Dr Gerald Pinto proposed the vote of thanks, and Mr Steevan Colaco compered the programme.
