ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಸಂತ ಅಲೋಶಿಯಸ್ ಗೊನ್ಝಾಗ ಶಾಲೆಯ 7ನೇ ತರಗತಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಶೌರ್ಯ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಅಂತಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಮಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೀರ್ತಿ ಗಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಭಾರತ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಆಯುಷ್ ಸಚಿವಾಲಯದಿಂದ ಮಾನ್ಯತೆ ಪಡೆದ ಇಂಡಿಯನ್ ಯೋಗಾಸನ ಸ್ಪೋರ್ಟ್ಸ್ ಫೆಡರೇಶನ್ ಮೂಲಕ ಟೀಮ್ ಇಂಡಿಯಾವನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಸಿ, 2026ರ ಮೇ 9-10ರಂದು ಹಾಂಕಾಂಗ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಮೊದಲ ಅಂತಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಯೋಗಾಸನ ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ಚಾಂಪಿಯನ್ ಶಿಪ್-2026ರಲ್ಲಿ 3 ಚಿನ್ನದ ಪದಕಗಳು ಮತ್ತು 2ನೇ ರನ್ನರ್ ಅಪ್ ಟ್ರೋಫಿಯನ್ನು ಗೆದ್ದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಅವರು 10–14 ವರ್ಷ ವಯೋಮಾನದ ವಿಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಿಸಿ, ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಕೌಶಲ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ನಿಖರತೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಅಸಾಧಾರಣ ಯೋಗಾಸನಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿ ಸಾಂಪ್ರದಾಯಿಕ ಚಾಂಪಿಯನ್ ಶಿಪ್ , ಸ್ವಂತ ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಚಾಂಪಿಯನ್ ಶಿಪ್ , ಕಲಾತ್ಮಕ ಸೋಲೋ ಚಾಂಪಿಯನ್ ಶಿಪ್ ವಿಭಾಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿನ್ನದ ಪದಕಗಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆದರು. ಇದರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಚಾಂಪಿಯನ್ ಆಫ್ ಚಾಂಪಿಯನ್ಸ್ (28 ವರ್ಷದೊಳಗಿನ) ವಿಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ 2ನೇ ರನ್ನರ್ ಅಪ್ ಟ್ರೋಫಿಯನ್ನೂ ತಮ್ಮದಾಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಅವರ ಈ ವಿಜಯಗಳು ಟೀಮ್ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ ಈ ಅಂತಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮಗ್ರವಾಗಿ ನಂ. 1 ಸ್ಥಾನ ಪಡೆಯಲು ಸಹಕಾರಿಯಾದವು.
ಅಜಯ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ರಾಗಿಣಿ ಅವರ ಪುತ್ರ. ಮಾ. ಶೌರ್ಯ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರ ಈ ಸಾಧನೆಯು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಅಸಾಧಾರಣ ಕಠಿಣ ಪರಿಶ್ರಮ, ಸಮರ್ಪಣೆ, ಶಿಸ್ತು ಮತ್ತು ಉತ್ಸಾಹದ ಫಲವಾಗಿದೆ. ಶೌರ್ಯ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರು ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ, ರಾಜ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಮಟ್ಟಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಉತ್ಕೃಷ್ಟ ಸಾಧನೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಬಂದಿದ್ದು, ಯೋಗಾಸನ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಅಸಾಧಾರಣ ಪ್ರತಿಭೆಯನ್ನು ನಿಯಮಿತವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ವಂ.ಫಾ. ರೋಹನ್ ಡಿ’ಅಲ್ಲ್ಮೇಡ ಅವರು ಶೌರ್ಯ ಕುಮಾರ ಅವರ ಈ ಅದ್ಭುತ ಸಾಧನೆಗೆ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಪರವಾಗಿ ಅಭಿನಂಧಿಸಿದರು.

Master Shaurya Kumar (son of Mr. Ajay Kumar & Mrs. Ragini ) , class VII student of St. Aloysius Gonzaga School -Mangalore earned International acclaim by winning 03 Gold Medals & 2nd Runner Up Trophy while representing Team India through Indian Yogasana Sports Federation (recognized by the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India) at the First International Yogasana Sports Championship- 2026 held at Hongkong , on 9-10th May 2026. He competed in 10–14 years age category and showcased extraordinary Yogasanas with great skills and precision to secure Gold Medals in the following categories:-
i) Traditional Championship
ii) Own Choice Championship
iii) Artistic Solo Championship
He also clinched 2nd Runner Up Trophy in Champion of Champions ( Below 28 ) .His victories helped Team India secure overall No. 1 position at this International event. This achievement is result of years of exceptional hardwork, dedication, discipline and passion of Master Shaurya Kumar. Master Shaurya Kumar has consistently excelled at the District, State and National levels and has regularly showcased his exceptional talent in the field of Yogasana.
