ಯುಬಿಎಂಸಿ ಆಂಗ್ಲ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ಶಾಲೆ, ಕುಂದಾಪುರ, ದಿನಾಂಕ 15 /10/2025 ಶಾಲಾ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲೆ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಅನಿತಾ ಆಲಿಸ್ ಡಿಸೋಜಾ ಇವರ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಬುಧವಾರ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಮಕ್ಕಳೆಲ್ಲರೂ ತಂಬಾಕು ಉತ್ಪನ್ನಗಳು ಇವುಗಳ ದುಷ್ಪರಿಣಾಮಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಪವಿತ್ರರಿಂದ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಪಡೆದು ಶಿಕ್ಷಕಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಸವಿತಾ ರವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಕ್ಕಳೇ ತಯಾರಿಸಿದ ತಂಬಾಕು ದುಷ್ಪರಿಣಾಮದ ಸೂಚನಾ ಫಲಕಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತು ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕುಂದಾಪುರದ ಪೇಟೆಗೆ ರ್ಯಾಲಿ ಹೊರಟು ಅಲ್ಲಿನ ಬೀದಿಯ ಅಂಗಡಿಗಳಿಗೆ ತಂಬಾಕು ದುಷ್ಪರಿಣಾಮದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮನವರಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಿಸಿ ಅಂಗಡಿಯ ಮಾಲೀಕರಿಗೆ ತಂಬಾಕು ಉತ್ಪನ್ನಗಳಾದ ಗುಟಕ ಪಾನ್ ಮಸಾಲ ಬೀಡಿ ಸಿಗರೇಟು ಇತ್ಯಾದಿ ವಸ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾರಾಟ ಮಾಡದಂತೆ, ಮನವಲಿಸಿ, ಮಾಲಿಕರಿಗೆ ಮಕ್ಕಳೇ ತಯಾರಿಸಿದ ಕಾಗದದ ಹೂವು ಮತ್ತು ತಂಬಾಕು ದುಷ್ಪರಿಣಾಮದ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಇರುವ ಗ್ರೀಟಿಂಗ್ಸ್ ಕಾರ್ಡನ್ನು ನೀಡಿ ವಿನಂತಿಸಿ ಕೊಂಡರು.

Rally on the ill effects of using tobacco products at UBMC English Medium School

UBMC English Medium School, Kundapur, Date 15/10/2025 Under the leadership of the school principal Mrs. Anita Alice D’Souza, on Wednesday, all the children of the school received information about the ill effects of tobacco products from their teacher Mrs. Pavithra. They, along with their teacher Mrs. Savita, carried placards made by the children themselves about the ill effects of tobacco and took out a rally with the teachers to the market of Kundapur. They convinced the street shops there about the ill effects of tobacco and persuaded the shop owners not to sell tobacco products such as gutka, paan, masala, bidi, cigarettes, etc. They presented the owners with paper flowers made by the children and a greeting card with information about the ill effects of tobacco.
