ಗೊರೆಟ್ಟಿ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆ, ಸಂತೆಕಟ್ಟೆ – ಕಲ್ಯಾಣಪುರ | 2ನೇ ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ 2026. ಸೇವೆ ಮತ್ತು ಕರುಣೆಯ ಗಮನಾರ್ಹ ಸೂಚಕವಾಗಿ, ಕ್ಯಾಥೊಲಿಕ್ ಸಭಾ ಉಡುಪಿ ಪ್ರದೇಶ (ನೋಂದಣಿ) 2ನೇ ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ 2026 ರ ಗುರುವಾರ ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ 9:00 ಗಂಟೆಗೆ ಸಂತೇಕಟ್ಟೆ – ಕಲ್ಯಾಣಪುರದ ಗೊರೆಟ್ಟಿ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ತನ್ನ ಕಿಡ್ನಿ ಡಯಾಲಿಸಿಸ್ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಮೂರು ಹೊಸ ಡಯಾಲಿಸಿಸ್ ಉಪಕರಣಗಳನ್ನು ಹಸ್ತಾಂತರಿಸಿತು.
ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಗಂಭೀರ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಸೇವೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಯಿತು, ಹೊಸ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಬಳಲುತ್ತಿರುವವರಿಗೆ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವ ಅದರ ಧ್ಯೇಯದ ಮೇಲೆ ದೇವರ ಅನುಗ್ರಹವನ್ನು ಕೋರಿತು. ಮಿಲಾಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಕ್ಯಾಥೆಡ್ರಲ್ನ ರೆಕ್ಟರ್ ರೆವರೆಂಡ್ ಮೊನ್ಸಿಂಝ್ಹೊರ್ ಫರ್ಡಿನ್ಯಾಂಡ್ ಗೊನ್ಸಾಲ್ವೆಸ್, ಸಂತೆಕಟ್ಟೆಯ ಮೌಂಟ್ ರೋಸರಿ ಚರ್ಚ್ನ ಪ್ಯಾರಿಷ್ ಪಾದ್ರಿ ರೆವರೆಂಡ್ ಡಾ. ರೋಕ್ ಡಿ’ಸೋಜಾ ಮತ್ತು ತೊಟ್ಟಂನ ಸೇಂಟ್ ಆನ್ನೆ ಚರ್ಚ್ನ ಪ್ಯಾರಿಷ್ ಪಾದ್ರಿ ರೆವರೆಂಡ್ ಫಾದರ್ ಡೆನಿಸ್ ಡಿ’ಸಾ ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿದರು.
ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಅಂಶವೆಂದರೆ ಮೂರು ಹೊಸ ಕಿಡ್ನಿ ಡಯಾಲಿಸಿಸ್ ಉಪಕರಣಗಳ ಸೆಟ್ಗಳನ್ನು ಉದಾರವಾಗಿ ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಲಾಯಿತು, ಇದನ್ನು ಅಂದಾಜು ರೂ. 33 ಲಕ್ಷ ವೆಚ್ಚದಲ್ಲಿ ಉದಾರವಾಗಿ ಜೋಡಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಈ ಜೀವರಕ್ಷಕ ಯಂತ್ರಗಳು ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯವನ್ನು ಗಮನಾರ್ಹವಾಗಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸುತ್ತವೆ, ಇದು ಅಗತ್ಯವಿರುವವರಿಗೆ ಕೈಗೆಟುಕುವ ಮತ್ತು ಸುಲಭವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಬಹುದಾದ ಡಯಾಲಿಸಿಸ್ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಯನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸುತ್ತದೆ, ಇದು ಸಭೆಯ ಮಾನವೀಯ ಸೇವೆಯ ಆಳವಾದ ಬದ್ಧತೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿಬಿಂಬಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.
ಕ್ಯಾಥೋಲಿಕ್ ಸಭಾ ಉಡುಪಿ ಪ್ರದೇಶದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ರೊನಾಲ್ಡ್ ಡಿ’ಅಲ್ಮೇಡಾ ಅವರು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆ ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು SRA ಸಿಸ್ಟರ್ಸ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಂತೀಯ ಸುಪೀರಿಯರ್ ಸೀನಿಯರ್ ಲೀನಾ ವಿ.ಜೆ., SRA ಕಾನ್ವೆಂಟ್ನ ಸುಪೀರಿಯರ್ ಸೀನಿಯರ್ ಎಲ್ವೀನಾ ಮತ್ತು ಗೊರೆಟ್ಟಿ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯ ಆಡಳಿತಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಸೀನಿಯರ್ ಜರೀನಾ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಗಣ್ಯರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.
ಸಂಘಟಕರು ಉದಾರ ದಾನಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಹಿತೈಷಿಗಳಿಗೆ, ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಓಸ್ವಾಲ್ಡ್ ರೊಡ್ರಿಗಸ್ ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀ ಸ್ಟೀಫನ್ ಕಾರ್ನೆಲಿಯೊ, ಅಂಬಾಗಿಲು ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಸುವವರಿಗೆ ಹೃತ್ಪೂರ್ವಕ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆಯನ್ನು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು, ಅವರ ದಿವಂಗತ ಸಹೋದರ ಜಾನ್ ಬ್ಯಾಪ್ಟಿಸ್ಟ್ (ರಾಬರ್ಟ್) ಕಾರ್ನೆಲಿಯೊ ಅವರ ಸ್ಮರಣಾರ್ಥ… ಅವರ ಬೆಂಬಲವು ಈ ಉದಾತ್ತ ಉಪಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಿಸಿತು.

ತಮ್ಮ ಭಾಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ, ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ರೊನಾಲ್ಡ್ ಡಿ’ಅಲ್ಮೇಡಾ ಅವರು “ಮಾನವೀಯತೆಗೆ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವುದು ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವುದು” ಎಂದು ಒತ್ತಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಈ ಡಯಾಲಿಸಿಸ್ ಕೇಂದ್ರದಂತಹ ಅರ್ಥಪೂರ್ಣ ಉಪಕ್ರಮಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಅಂಚಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವವರು ಮತ್ತು ರೋಗಿಗಳನ್ನು ತಲುಪುವ ಸಭೆಯ ಧ್ಯೇಯವನ್ನು ಪುನರುಚ್ಚರಿಸಿದರು.
ಸುಂದರ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಮುಕ್ತಾಯಗೊಳಿಸುತ್ತಾ, ಸಿಸ್ಟರ್ ಎಲ್ವೀನಾ ಅವರು ಗೊರೆಟ್ಟಿ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಕಾಳಜಿ ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಮತ್ತು ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ಕ್ಯಾಥೊಲಿಕ್ ಸಭೆಗೆ ಹೃತ್ಪೂರ್ವಕ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆಯನ್ನು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
ಉದ್ಘಾಟನೆಯು ಮುಕ್ತಾಯಗೊಂಡಂತೆ, ಈ ಪವಿತ್ರ ಗುರುವಾರದಂದು ನಿರೂಪಕ ಲೆಸ್ಲಿ ಅರೋಜಾ ತಮ್ಮ ಸಂಕ್ಷಿಪ್ತ ಭಾಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯವು ಅನೇಕ ರೋಗಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳಿಗೆ ಪರಿಹಾರ ಮತ್ತು ನವೀಕೃತ ಜೀವನವನ್ನು ತರುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡು, ತೃಪ್ತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಭರವಸೆ ಮೇಲುಗೈ ಸಾಧಿಸಿತು ಎಂದು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡರು.
ಜೋಶಲ್ ಡಿ’ಸೋಜಾ ಮ್ಯೂಸಿಕಲ್ ನೈಟ್ ಕೇವಲ ಎರಡು ದಿನಗಳ ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿ, ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ 5 ರ ಈಸ್ಟರ್ ಭಾನುವಾರದಂದು, ಯಶಸ್ವಿ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನೆಯು ಕ್ಯಾಥೊಲಿಕ್ ಸಭಾ ಉಡುಪಿ ಪ್ರದೇಶದ ಸದಸ್ಯರು ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ವಯಂಸೇವಕರನ್ನು ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಹುರಿದುಂಬಿಸಿದೆ, ಸೇವೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮುದಾಯ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಸಮರ್ಪಿತ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಂದುವರಿಸಲು ಅವರನ್ನು ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸಿದೆ.

Goretti Hospital, Santhekatte – Kallianpur | 2nd April 2026. In a remarkable gesture of service and compassion, Catholic Sabha Udupi Pradesh (Regd.) handed over three new Dialysis Equipments to its Kidney Dialysis Centre at Goretti Hospital, Santhekatte–Kallianpur, on Thursday, 2nd April 2026 at 9:00 AM.
The programme began with a solemn blessing and prayer service, invoking God’s grace upon the new facility and its mission to serve the suffering. The blessing was led by Rev. Fr. Msgr. Ferdinand Gonsalves,Rector of Milagres Cathedral, along with Rev. Dr. Roque D’Souza, Parish Priest of Mount Rosary Church, Santhekatte, and Rev. Fr. Denis D’Sa, Parish Priest of St. Anne Church, Thottam.
The highlight of the event was the inauguration of three new kidney dialysis equipment sets, generously arranged at an approximate cost of Rs. 33 lakhs. These life-saving machines will significantly enhance the hospital’s capacity to provide affordable and accessible dialysis treatment to the needy, reflecting the Sabha’s deep commitment to humanitarian service.
The programme was presided over by Mr. Ronald D’Almeida, President of Catholic Sabha Udupi Pradesh.
The event was graced by distinguished dignitaries including Sr. Leena V.J., Provincial Superior of SRA Sisters, Sr. Elveena, Superior of SRA Convent, and Sr. Zareena, Administrator of Goretti Hospital.
The organizers expressed heartfelt gratitude to the generous donors and well-wishers, especially Mr. Michael D’Souza & Fly especially represented by Mr Oswald Rodrigues Mangalore and Mr. Stephen Cornelio, Ambagilu, in memory of his late brother John Baptist (Robert) Cornelio, a well-known philanthropist…whose support made this noble initiative possible.
In his address, the President Mr Ronald DAlmeida emphasized that “Serving humanity is serving God,” and reiterated the Sabha’s mission to reach out to the marginalized and the sick through meaningful initiatives like this dialysis centre.
To conclude the beautiful program Sr Elveena expressed heartfelt gratitude to all in general and Catholic Sabha in particular for their concern for Goretti Hospital.
Emcee Leslie Aroza in his brifing shared, as the inauguration concluded, on this holy Maundy Thursday a sense of fulfillment and hope prevailed, knowing that this facility will bring relief and renewed life to many patients and their families.
With Joshal D’Souza Musical Nite just two days away, on Easter Sunday 5th April, the successful inauguration has further energized the members and volunteers of Catholic Sabha Udupi Pradesh, inspiring them to continue their dedicated efforts in service and community building.
