In his beautiful homily, Fr. Mary kept events in her heart and pondered them, teaching us to listen to God in silence. When we ask Mary to pray for us, she brings our needs directly to Jesus, showing us how to pray for one another. Mary’s gentle presence helps family members replace anger and judgment with patience, forgiveness and mercy.
Fr Melwyn said that devotion to Our Blessed Mother acts as a bond that keeps families together through prayer and shared faith. From the mother of Jesus, Mother Mary, we can learn valuable lessons about faith, obedience and trust in God’s plan.
