ಹೆಮ್ಮಾಡಿ :- ಶಾಲಾ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಜನತಾ ನ್ಯೂ ಇಂಗ್ಲಿಷ್ ಮೀಡಿಯಂ ಸ್ಕೂಲ್ ಅತಿಥ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೈಂದೂರು ವಲಯ ಮಟ್ಟದ ಕುಸ್ತಿ ಪಂದ್ಯಾಟವು ಹೆಮ್ಮಾಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯಿತು. ಈ ಕುಸ್ತಿ ಪಂದ್ಯಾಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಜನತಾ ನ್ಯೂ ಇಂಗ್ಲಿಷ್ ಮೀಡಿಯಂ ಸ್ಕೂಲ್ 17 ಕುಸ್ತಿಪಟುಗಳು ತಾಲೂಕು ಮಟ್ಟದಿಂದ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಮಟ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾದರು
14ರ ವಯೋಮಾನದ ಹುಡುಗರ ವಿಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಜನತಾ ಇಂಗ್ಲಿಷ್ ಮೇಡಂ ಸ್ಕೂಲಿನ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಾದ ನೀನಾದ್ (8ನೇ ತರಗತಿ ) ರಿಷಿಕ್( 8ನೇ ತರಗತಿ) ಆನ್ಸ್ಟನ್( 8ನೇ ತರಗತಿ) ಆದಿತ್ಯ( 8ನೇ ತರಗತಿ) ಅಶ್ವಿನ್( 7ನೇ ತರಗತಿ )ಅಭಿರಾಜ್ (7ನೇ ತರಗತಿ )

ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಈ ಸಾಧನೆಗೆ ಶಾಲಾ ಆಡಳಿತ ಮಂಡಳಿ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕಿ ಬೋಧಕಮತ್ತು ಬೋಧಕೇತರ ವೃಂದದ ಪರವಾಗಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಭಿನಂದನೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ, ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 11, 2025: ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 10, 2025 ರಂದು, ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ಡಯಾಸಿಸ್‌ನ ಯುವಮಿತ್ರ, ಯುವ ಆಯೋಗ, ಯುವಮಿತ್ರ, ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗದ ಸೇಕ್ರೆಡ್ ಹಾರ್ಟ್ ಕ್ಯಾಥೆಡ್ರಲ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಯುವ ಹಬ್ಬ (ಯುವ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವ) – ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಯುವ ಭಾನುವಾರವನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿತು. ಈ ವಿಶೇಷ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲು ಡಯಾಸಿಸ್‌ನ ವಿವಿಧ ಭಾಗಗಳಿಂದ 250 ಯುವಕರು ಮತ್ತು 25 ಆನಿಮೇಟರ್‌ಗಳು ಒಟ್ಟುಗೂಡಿದರು.
ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಯುವಕರ ಸಣ್ಣ ಪರಿಚಯ ಮತ್ತು ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ಡಯಾಸಿಸ್‌ನ ವಿಕಾರ್ ಜನರಲ್ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ವೆರಿ ರೆವರೆಂಡ್ ಫಾದರ್ ಸ್ಟ್ಯಾನಿ ಡಿ’ಸೋಜಾ ಅವರ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನಾ ಸಮಾರಂಭದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಯಿತು. ದಿನದ ಥೀಮ್ “ನೀವು ಸಹ ನನ್ನ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಗಳು, ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನೀವು ನನ್ನೊಂದಿಗಿದ್ದೀರಿ” (ಜಾನ್ 15:27).
ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶೇಷ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಡಯೋಸಿಸನ್ ಪ್ಯಾಸ್ಟೋರಲ್ ಆಯೋಗಗಳ ಸಂಯೋಜಕರಾದ ರೆವರೆಂಡ್ ಫಾದರ್ ಸೈಮನ್ ಪಿಂಟೊ, ಅಂತರರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಸ್ಪೀಕರ್ ಕಾಲಿನ್ ಕ್ಯಾಲ್ಮಿಯಾನೊ, ಸುಪ್ರಿಯಾ ವರ್ಗೀಸ್ (ಐಸಿವೈಎಂ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ) ಮತ್ತು ಜೆಸ್ವಿತಾ ಡಿಸೋಜಾ (ವೈಸಿಎಸ್/ವೈಎಸ್ಎಂ ಪ್ರಾದೇಶಿಕ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು) ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
ಮೊದಲ ಅಧಿವೇಶನದಲ್ಲಿ, ಶ್ರೀ ಕಾಲಿನ್ ಕ್ಯಾಲ್ಮಿಯಾನೊ ತಮ್ಮ ಜೀವನ ಚರಿತ್ರೆಯನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡರು ಮತ್ತು ದೇವರು ತಾವು ಚಿಕ್ಕವರಿದ್ದಾಗ ತಮ್ಮ ಜೀವನವನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ಬದಲಾಯಿಸಿದರು ಎಂಬುದರ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ಅವರು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಯುವಕರನ್ನು ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ಬದುಕಲು ಮತ್ತು ದೇವರ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸಲು ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಿಸಿದರು.
ಪವಿತ್ರ ಬಲಿಪೂಜೆಯನ್ನು ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ಡಯಾಸಿಸ್‌ನ ಬಿಷಪ್ ಅತಿ ವಂದನೀಯ ಡಾ. ಫ್ರಾನ್ಸಿಸ್ ಸೆರಾವ್ ಎಸ್‌ಜೆ ಆಚರಿಸಿದರು. ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಸ್ಟ್ಯಾನಿ ಡಿಸೋಜಾ, ಫಾದರ್ ಸೈಮನ್ ಪಿಂಟೊ, ಫಾದರ್ ಪಿಯಸ್ ಡಿಸೋಜಾ (ಎಸ್‌ಎಂಎಸ್‌ಎಸ್‌ಎಸ್ – ಚೈತನ್ಯ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಾಹಕ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ), ಫಾದರ್ ಜೋಸ್ಟ್ರೋ ಎಂಎಸ್‌ಎಫ್‌ಎಸ್ (ಕ್ಯಾಥೆಡ್ರಲ್‌ನ ಸಹಾಯಕ ಪ್ಯಾರಿಷ್ ಪ್ರೀಸ್ಟ್) ಫಾದರ್ ಫ್ರಾಂಕ್ಲಿನ್ ಡಿಸೋಜಾ ಮತ್ತು ಡೀಕನ್ ಜಾನ್ಸನ್ ಎಸ್‌ಜೆ ಪವಿತ್ರ ಯೂಕರಿಸ್ಟ್ ಅನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಿದರು.
ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನ ಊಟದ ನಂತರ, ಯುವಕರಿಗೆ ಮೋಜಿನ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂವಾದಾತ್ಮಕ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳು ನಡೆದವು. ಜುಲೈ 28 ರಿಂದ ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 3, 2025 ರವರೆಗೆ ರೋಮ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಜುಬಿಲಿ ವರ್ಷಾಚರಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ ತಮ್ಮ ಅನುಭವವನ್ನು ಡಯಾಸಿಸ್‌ನ ಮೂವರು ಯುವಕರು – ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಪ್ರಿಯಾ ಮಾರಿಯಾ ಡಿ’ಸೋಜಾ, ಶ್ರೀ ಸುಹಾಸ್ ಮಾರ್ಟಿನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀ ಸ್ಟೀಫನ್ ಲೋಬೊ – ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡರು.
ಮಾಜಿ ವೈಸಿಎಸ್ ಸದಸ್ಯರಾದ ರೆವರೆಂಡ್ ಸೀನಿಯರ್ ಶೀತಲ್ ಬಿ.ಎಸ್, ಸಾಗರದ ಸೇಂಟ್ ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಚರ್ಚ್ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಐಸಿವೈಎಂನ ಮಾಜಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಸಂತೋಷ್, ಕಾರ್ಗಲ್‌ನ ಅವರ್ ಲೇಡಿ ಆಫ್ ಪರ್ಪೆಚುಯಲ್ ಸಕ್ಕರ್ ಚರ್ಚ್ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ನೆನಪುಗಳನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಚಳುವಳಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡಿತು ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡರು.
ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಡಯಾಸಿಸ್‌ನ ವಿವಿಧ ಯುವ ಉದ್ಯಮಿಗಳಿಂದ ವ್ಯಾಪಾರ ಬ್ರ್ಯಾಂಡ್ ಪ್ರಚಾರವೂ ಸೇರಿತ್ತು. ಸಂತೋಷ, ಸ್ನೇಹ ಮತ್ತು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಬದುಕುವ ಭರವಸೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ದಿನವು ಕೊನೆಗೊಂಡಿತು. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಕಮ್ಯುನಿಯೊ ಬೆಂಬಲಿಸಿತು.ಡಯಾಸಿಸ್‌ನ ಯುವ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ರೆವರೆಂಡ್ ಫಾದರ್ ಫ್ರಾಂಕ್ಲಿನ್ ಡಿ’ಸೋಜಾ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳನ್Yuva Habba

2K25 – A Day of Joy and Faith for Youth, Diocese of Shimoga

Shivamogga, August 11, 2025: On 10 August 2025, the Yuvamitra, Youth Commission of the Diocese of Shimoga, Yuvamitra, organized Yuva Habba (Youth Jubilee) – National Youth Sunday at Sacred Heart Cathedral, Shivamogga. 250 youth and 25 animators from different parts of the diocese came together to celebrate this special day.
The program began with a short introduction of the youth and the inaugural ceremony led by Msgr. Very Rev. Fr. Stany D’Souza, Vicar General of the Diocese of Shimoga. The theme of the day was “You also are my witnesses, because you have been with me” (Jn 15:27).
Special guests for the program were Rev. Fr Simon Pinto (Coordinator of Diocesan Pastoral Commissions), Mr. Colin Calmiano (International Speaker), Ms. Supriya Varghese (ICYM National General Secretary), and Ms. Jesvita D’Souza (YCS/YSM Regional President).
In the first session, Mr. Colin Calmiano shared his own life story and spoke about how God changed his life when he was young. He encouraged all youth to live with faith and follow God’s way.
The Holy Mass was celebrated by Most Rev. Dr Francis Serrao SJ, Bishop of Shimoga Diocese. Msgr. Stany D’Souza, Fr Simon Pinto, Fr Pius D’Souza (SMSSS – Chaitanya Executive Director), Fr Jostro MSFS (Assistant Parish Priest of Cathedral) Fr Franklin D’Souza and Deacon Johnson SJ concelebrated the Holy Eucharist.
After lunch, there were fun and interactive activities for the youth. Three young people from the Diocese — Ms. Priya Maria D’Souza, Mr. Suhas Martin, and Mr. Stephen Lobo — shared their experience of attending the Jubilee Year celebration in Rome from July 28 to August 3, 2025.
Former YCS member Rev. Sr Sheetal BS native of St. Joseph’s Church, Sagar and Former ICYM president Mr. Santhosh, native of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour Church, Kargal shared their memories and how the movement helped them in life.
The event also included business brand promotion by various young entrepreneurs from the diocese.
The day ended with joy, friendship, and a promise to live as witnesses of Christ. This event was supported by Communio.
Diocesan Youth Director Rev. Fr Franklin D’Souza proposed a general vote of thanks.

ಗಂಗೊಳ್ಳಿ ; ಕ್ರೈಸ್ತ ಜ್ಯುಬಿಲಿ ವರ್ಷದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ಕೊಸೆಸಾಂವ್ ಮಾತೆಯ ದೇವಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಯುವಜನರ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವವು ಅಗಸ್ಟ್ 10, 2025 ರಂದು ವಿಜೃಂಭಣೆಯಿಂದ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಚರ್ಚಿನ ಧರ್ಮಗುರುಗಳಾದ ವಂ. ಗುರು ತೋಮಸ್ ರೋಶನ್ ಡಿಸೋಜರವರ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ದಿವ್ಯ ಬಲಿಪೂಜೆಯನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸಲಾಯಿತು, ಫಿಯೊನಾ ಡಾಯಸ್, ಕ್ಯಾರಲ್ ರೆಬೇರೊ, ಸಿಂಡ್ರೆಲಾ ರೇಬೆರೊ, ಫಿಯೊನಾ ರೆಬೇರೊ, ರಿಶೆಲ್ ಡಿಸೋಜ, ಜೊಲ್ವಿನ್ ರೆಬೆಲ್ಲೊ, ಶರೆಲ್ ಫೆರ್ನಾಂಡಿಸ್ ರವರು ಸಕ್ರಿಯರಾಗಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದರು. ಬಳಿಕ ಧರ್ಮಗುರುಗಳಾದ ವಂ| ತೋಮಸ್ ರೋಶನ್ ಡಿಸೋಜರವರ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಭಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಶಿರ್ವ ಸಂತ ಮೇರಿ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಎಡ್ವರ್ಡ್ ಲಾರ್ಸನ್ ಡಿಸೋಜರವರು ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯಾಗಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ “ಜನರ ಘನತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಭಾರತದ ಸಂವಿಧಾನ” ಎಂಬ ವಿಷಯದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಅರಿವು ಮೂಡಿಸಿದರು. ವೇದಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಚರ್ಚಿನ ಪಾಲನ ಮಂಡಳಿಯ ಉಪಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಆಲ್ವಿನ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾ, ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಗ್ಲೋರಿಯಾ ಡಿಸೋಜ, ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು. ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯವರ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ಪರಿಚಯವನ್ನು ಅನ್ನಿ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತರವರು ನೀಡಿದರು. ತದನಂತರ ವಿವಿಧ ಆಟೋಟ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಗಳನ್ನು ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಐ.ಸಿ.ವೈ.ಎಂ. ಘಟಕದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಕುಮಾರಿ ವಿನ್ಸಿಟಾ ಲೋಬೊರವರು ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿದರು, ರೆನಿಟಾ ಬಾರ್ನೆಸ್ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿದರು.
ಜೆನ್ನಿ ಬುತ್ತೆಲ್ಲೊ, ಫೆಲ್ಸಿ ಓಲಿವೇರಾ, ಪ್ರೀತಿ ಫೆರ್ನಾಂಡಿಸ್, ಜೋನ್ ಲೋಬೊ ಹಾಗೂ ಓವಿನ್ ರೆಬೆಲ್ಲೊ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಗೊಳ್ಳಲು ಸಹಕಾರ ನೀಡಿದರು.

ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿತ ಸಂತ ಅಲೋಶಿಯಸ್ ಗೊನ್ಝಾಗ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಸ್ಕೌಟ್ ಮತ್ತು ಕಬ್ ಘಟಕವು 2025 ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 7ರಿಂದ 9 ರವರೆಗೆ ಪಿಲಿಕುಳ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ತರಬೇತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಲೆಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಮೂರು ದಿನಗಳ ಸನಿವಾಸ ಶಿಬಿರವನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿತು. ಈ ಶಿಬಿರವನ್ನು ಸ್ಕೌಟ್ ಮಾಸ್ಟರ್ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಸುಶ್ಮಿತಾ ಕೆ.ಎಸ್. ಹಾಗೂ ಕಬ್ ಮಾಸ್ಟರ್ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಶಶಿಕಲಾ ಅವರ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಶಿಬಿರದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರೇರಣಾದಾಯಕ ಭಾಷಣಗಳು, ಅನುಭವ ಹಂಚಿಕೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಪತ್ರ ವಿತರಣೆಯು ನಡೆಯಿತು. ಕಲಿಕೆ, ನಾಯಕತ್ವ , ಸಾಹಸ, ತಂಡಗಳಾಗಿ ಕಾರ್ಯ ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಸ್ನೇಹಭಾವದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ಶಿಬಿರವು ಕೊನೆಗೊಂಡಿತು.ಈ ಸಮಾರಂಭಕ್ಕೆ ಭಾರತ ಸ್ಕೌಟ್ಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ಗೈಡ್ಸ್ – ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಉತ್ತರ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಸಂಘದ ಉಪಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷೆ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಶಕೀಲಾ ರಾಜ್ ಅವರು ಅತಿಥಿಯಾಗಿ ಹಾಜರಿದ್ದರು. ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಗುರುಮೂರ್ತಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಶ್ರೀ ವಿನೋದ್ ಚೆವಾರ್ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು. ಈ ಶಿಬಿರವು ಸ್ಕೌಟಿಂಗ್ ಸಿದ್ಧಾಂತಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಸಮಗ್ರ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದತ್ತ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಬದ್ಧತೆಯನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ತೋರಿಸಿತು.

St Aloysius Gonzaga School, Scout and Cub Unit organised a 3-day stay camp from 7 to 9 August 2025 for the Cubs and Scouts students of the school at Pilikula District Training Center, effectively led by Scout Master Ms. Sushmitha K S and Cub Master Ms. Shashikala. The event featured inspiring addresses, heartfelt student reflections, and certificate distribution, marking a successful conclusion to three days of learning, adventure, and camaraderie. The camp culminated in a vibrant valedictory ceremony on 9 August 2025, graced by Ms. Shakila Raj, Vice President of Bharat Scouts and Guides – Mangalore North Local Association, along with resource persons Mr. Gurumurthy and Mr. Vinod Chevar. The camp highlighted the school’s commitment to holistic education through scouting principles.

ಸಮಾರಂಭದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆಯನ್ನು ಸಹಕಾರ ರತ್ನ ಶ್ರೀ ಅನಿಲ್ ಲೋಬೊ ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು, ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಸಹಕಾರ ರತ್ನ ಶ್ರೀ ಅನಿಲ್ ಲೋಬೊ ತಮ್ಮ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷೀಯ ಭಾಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ, ಕಳೆದ ಎಂಟು ವರ್ಷಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ₹500 ಕೋಟಿ ವ್ಯವಹಾರದಿಂದ ₹1,300 ಕೋಟಿಗೆ ತಲುಪಿದ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕಿನ ಪ್ರಗತಿಯನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು. ಈ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಗೆ ಬಲವಾದ ನಾಯಕತ್ವ, ಆಡಳಿತ ಮಂಡಳಿಯ ಬದ್ಧತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅಚಲವಾದ ಗ್ರಾಹಕರ ನಂಬಿಕೆ ಕಾರಣ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದರು.

MCC Bank Ltd Inaugurates 10th ATM at Surathkal Branch

Surathkal ; MCC Bank Ltd achieved yet another significant milestone with the formal inauguration of its 10th ATM at the Surathkal Branch on Sunday, August 10, 2025. The event was marked by a blend of tradition, technology, and community spirit, drawing the presence of prominent dignitaries, religious leaders, bank officials, and well-wishers.
The ATM was officially inaugurated by Mr Mohammed Haneef, Pre-Owned Vehicle Sales Consultant. The ceremony commenced with a blessing by Rev. Fr Austin Peter Peris, Parish Priest of Sacred Heart Church, Surathkal, who invoked divine guidance on the bank’s continued service to the community. The event also witnessed the presence of Chief Guest Rev. Fr Stany Pinto, Parish Priest of Holy Spirit Church, Mukka. The first cash withdrawal from the ATM was made by Mr Mebail Sadashiva Shetty, Proprietor of Sri Durga Financial Corporation.
The function was presided over by Sahakara Rathna Mr Anil Lobo, Chairman of MCC Bank Ltd under whose leadership the bank has experienced consistent growth and modernization. In his presidential address, Chairman Mr Anil Lobo reflected on the bank’s impressive journey from a business volume of ₹500 crore to ₹1,300 crore over the past eight years. He attributed this growth to strong leadership, team commitment, and unwavering customer trust.
He reiterated that MCC Bank is a people’s bank, emphasizing that it does not belong solely to the management or directors, but to the customers and communities it serves. “Our customers are our brand ambassadors,” he said, underscoring the power of word-of-mouth in building the bank’s reputation.
He also shared the bank’s ambitious roadmap, revealing that MCC Bank aims to expand to 25 branches by the end of the current financial year. In addition, he announced the bank’s readiness to embrace newer digital platforms, with plans to introduce UPI (Unified Payments Interface) services in the near future—aligning the bank with emerging fintech trends.
He concluded by expressing his heartfelt thanks to the board of directors, staff, customers, and community members for their continued support. He assured that MCC Bank would remain committed to delivering high-quality services without compromise.
Delivering the first keynote address, Rev. Fr Austin Peter Peris lauded MCC Bank for bringing modern banking facilities closer to the people of Surathkal. He metaphorically compared financial accessibility to blood circulation in the human body—vital for its sustenance—stating that similarly, the flow of money is essential for community development. He praised the bank for continuing its expansion even when other institutions were consolidating during the COVID-19 era, highlighting the inauguration of back-to-back ATMs in Belman and Surathkal as a sign of MCC Bank’s dynamic vision This resilience is a testament to the bank’s strong foundation and visionary leadership.

A heartwarming segment of the program was the felicitation of customers of Surathkal branch, on the occasion of their special birthdays.
