ದಾವಣಗೆರೆ, ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 30, 2025: ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 30, 2025 ರಂದು ಹರಿಹರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಅವರ್ ಲೇಡಿ ಆಫ್ ಹೆಲ್ತ್ ಮೈನರ್ ಬೆಸಿಲಿಕಾಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ರಸ್ತೆಗಳು ದಾರಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಟ್ಟವು.

ಕಾರವಾರ ಡಯಾಸಿಸ್‌ನ ಬಿಷಪ್ ಅತಿ ವಂದನೀಯ ಡಾ. ಡುಮಿಂಗ್ ಡಯಾಸ್ ಅವರು ಧ್ವಜಾರೋಹಣ ಮಾಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಹರಿಹರ ಮಾತಾ ಬೆಸಿಲಿಕಾದ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ ಹಬ್ಬವು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಯಿತು. ಬೆಸಿಲಿಕಾದ ರೆಕ್ಟರ್ ರೆವರೆಂಡ್ ಫಾದರ್ ಜಾರ್ಜ್ ಕೆ ಎ ಅವರು ಬಿಷಪ್ ಮತ್ತು ಸಭೆಯನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿದರು.

ಒಂಬತ್ತು ದಿನಗಳ ಆಚರಣೆಗೆ ಚಾಲನೆ ನೀಡಿ, ಬಿಷಪ್ ಡುಮಿಂಗ್ ಡಯಾಸ್, ಸಂಕಷ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿರುವವರ ಕಣ್ಣೀರು ಒರೆಸುವ ಮಾತೆ ಮೇರಿಯ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಅಳವಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಭಕ್ತರನ್ನು ಒತ್ತಾಯಿಸಿದರು.

ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಹಂತಗಳ ಸಾವಿರಾರು ಭಕ್ತರು, ಕೆಲವರು ಕೇಸರಿ ಬಟ್ಟೆ ಧರಿಸಿ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾದರು. ಯಾತ್ರಿಕರ ಹಠಾತ್ ಒಳಹರಿವು ನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಚಾರವನ್ನು ಅಸ್ತವ್ಯಸ್ತಗೊಳಿಸಿತು. ಡಯಾಸಿಸ್‌ನ ಅನೇಕ ಪಾದ್ರಿಗಳು ಬಿಷಪ್ ಡುಮಿಂಗ್ ಡಯಾಸ್ ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಸಾಮೂಹಿಕ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಿದರು. ಧರ್ಮೋಪದೇಶದ ವಿಷಯ: “ಮದರ್ ಮೇರಿ – ನಮ್ಮ ಭರವಸೆಯ ತಾಯಿ”.

ಯೂಕರಿಸ್ಟ್ ನಂತರ, ಪುರೋಹಿತರು ಭಕ್ತರ ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೈಗಳನ್ನಿಟ್ಟು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿದರು. ಆಚರಣೆಗಳ ನಂತರ, ಭಕ್ತರು “ಅನ್ನ ಸಂತರಪಣೆ” (ಆಹಾರ) ದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದರು.

ಯುದ್ಧದಿಂದ ಹಾನಿಗೊಳಗಾದ ದೇಶಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಅವುಗಳ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ನಾಯಕರ ಶಾಂತಿಗಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಯೂಕರಿಸ್ಟಿಕ್ ಆರಾಧನೆಗಾಗಿ ಒಟ್ಟುಗೂಡಿದ ಭಕ್ತರಿಗಾಗಿ ವಿಶೇಷ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಹ ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು.

Davanagere, August 30, 2025: All roads led to the Minor Basilica of Our Lady of Health in Harihar on August 30, 2025.

The Annual Feast of Harihar Matha Basilica began with the hoisting of the flag by Most Rev. Dr Duming Dias, Bishop of the Diocese of Karwar. The Rector of the Basilica, Rev. Fr. George K A, welcomed the Bishop and the gathering.

Flagging off the nine-day celebrations, Bishop Duming Dias urged the faithful to imbibe the values of Mother Mary, who wipes the tears of the distressed.

Thousands of devotees from all walks of life, some clad in saffron, witnessed the event. The sudden inflow of pilgrims threw the traffic out of gear in the city. Many priests of the diocese concelebrated the high mass with Bishop Duming Dias. The theme of the homily was: “Mother Mary – Our Mother of Hope.”

After the Eucharist, priests blessed the devotees by laying their hands on their heads. Following the celebrations, the devotees took part in the “Anna Santharapane” (Food).

Prayers were held for the peace of war-torn countries and their national leaders. Special prayers were also held for the faithful gathered for Eucharistic adoration.
