ಸಂತೋಷ, ಸೌಹಾರ್ದತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಹಾನುಭೂತಿಯ ಹಂಚಿಕೆಯ ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನ ಸಂತೆಕಟ್ಟೆ-ಕಲ್ಯಾಣಪುರದ ಮೌಂಟ್ ರೋಸರಿ ಚರ್ಚ್ನ ಕ್ಯಾಥೊಲಿಕ್ ಸಭಾ ಘಟಕವು, 2026ರ ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ 18ರ ಶುಕ್ರವಾರದಂದು ಪಂಬೂರಿನ ಮಾನಸ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಅರ್ಥಪೂರ್ಣ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿತು.
ಅಲ್ಪಾವಧಿಯ ಸೂಚನೆಯ ಹೊರತಾಗಿಯೂ, 21 ಸದಸ್ಯರು ಸ್ವಯಂಪ್ರೇರಿತರಾಗಿ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಂಡರು ಮತ್ತು ವಿಶೇಷ ಚೇತನ ಮಕ್ಕಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂತೋಷ ಹಾಗೂ ಸೌಹಾರ್ದತೆಯ ಕ್ಷಣಗಳನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾ ಸುಮಾರು ಎರಡು ಗಂಟೆಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಕಳೆದರು.
ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿದ ತಂಡಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಸಿಸ್ಟರ್ ವಿನ್ನಿ ಗೊನ್ಸಾಲ್ವೆಸ್, ಆಡಳಿತಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಅನಿಲ್ ಡಾಂಟಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ, ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್ನ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಜಾನ್ ಮಾರ್ಟಿಸ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ಸದಸ್ಯರು ಆತ್ಮೀಯ ಮತ್ತು ಮನೆಯ ವಾತಾವರಣದಂತಹ ಸ್ವಾಗತವನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದರು.
ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಪಡಿಸಿದ ಭಾವಪೂರ್ಣ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನಾ ಗೀತೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಯಿತು, ನಂತರ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರು ಸ್ವಾಗತ ಭಾಷಣ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್ನ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು ‘ಮಾನಸ’ದ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಣೆ, ದೃಷ್ಟಿಕೋನ, ಧ್ಯೇಯೋದ್ದೇಶಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ವಿಶೇಷ ಚೇತನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಆರೈಕೆ, ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ, ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸರ್ವತೋಮುಖ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗಾಗಿ ನೀಡಲಾಗುತ್ತಿರುವ ಸಮರ್ಪಿತ ಸೇವೆಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಸಂಕ್ಷಿಪ್ತ ಪರಿಚಯವನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದರು.
ನಂತರ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಅದ್ಭುತ ಉತ್ಸಾಹ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರತಿಭೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಆನಂದದಾಯಕ ನೃತ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಗೀತ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು. ಅವರ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನಗಳು ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿದವರ ಮನಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಗೆದ್ದವು ಮತ್ತು ಸಂತೋಷ ಹಾಗೂ ಒಗ್ಗಟ್ಟಿನ ವಾತಾವರಣವನ್ನು ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿದವು.
ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿದ ತಂಡದ ಪರವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಕ್ಯಾಥೊಲಿಕ್ ಸಭಾ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಶ್ರೀ ಆರ್ಚಿಬಾಲ್ಡ್ ಫರ್ಟಾಡೊ, ಆಡಳಿತ ಮಂಡಳಿ, ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರು, ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಮತ್ತು ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಯ ಸಮರ್ಪಿತ ಸೇವೆಯನ್ನು ಶ್ಲಾಘಿಸಿದರು. ಸ್ಫೂರ್ತಿದಾಯಕ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ ನೀಡಿದ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಅಭಿನಂದಿಸಿದ ಅವರು, ಈ ಭೇಟಿಯು ಕೇವಲ ಪ್ರೀತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಬೆಂಬಲವನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲದೆ, ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಧೈರ್ಯ, ಉತ್ಸಾಹ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂತೋಷದಿಂದ ಕಲಿಯಲು ಸಿಕ್ಕ ಒಂದು ಅವಕಾಶವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯಪಟ್ಟರು.
ಈ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯು ಕ್ಯಾಥೊಲಿಕ್ ಸಭಾದಿಂದಲೇ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ನೆನಪಿಸುತ್ತಾ, ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿದ ಹಾಗೂ ಬೆಂಬಲ ಸೂಚಿಸಿದ ‘ಸಿಎಸ್ ರೋಸೇರಿಯನ್ಸ್’ (CS Rosarians) ಸದಸ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರು ವಂದನಾರ್ಪಣೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು.
ಸಮಾಜಮುಖಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಭಾಗವಾಗಿ, ಕ್ಯಾಥೊಲಿಕ್ ಸಭಾದ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಮಾನಸ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ₹25,000/- ಮೊತ್ತದ ಚೆಕ್ ಅನ್ನು ಹಸ್ತಾಂತರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಈ ಕೊಡುಗೆಯನ್ನು ಆಡಳಿತ ಮಂಡಳಿ ಮತ್ತು ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್ನ ಖಜಾಂಚಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ನೊರೊನ್ಹಾ ಅವರು ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆಯಿಂದ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿ, ಪ್ರಶಂಸಾ ಪತ್ರವನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದರು.
ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗೆ ಉಪಹಾರದ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ರೂಬೆನ್ ರೆಬೆಲ್ಲೊ ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ತಂಡಕ್ಕೆ ಸಭೆಯು ವಿಶೇಷ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆಯನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿದ ಸದಸ್ಯರಿಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ವಾಹನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಯಾಣದ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಿದ ಎಲಿಯಾಸ್ ಡಿಸೋಜಾ, ರೂಬೆನ್ ರೆಬೆಲ್ಲೊ, ಅರ್ನಾಲ್ಡ್ ರೋಚ್, ಲ್ಯೂಕ್ ಡಿಸೋಜಾ ಮತ್ತು ಡ್ಯಾನ್ಸಿ ಮಚಾದೊ ಅವರಿಗೂ ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳು ಸಲ್ಲುತ್ತವೆ. ಈ ಭೇಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗದಿದ್ದರೂ, ಈ ಸದುದ್ದೇಶಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಉದಾರವಾಗಿ ದೇಣಿಗೆ ನೀಡಿದ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ವಿಶೇಷ ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆಯನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.
ಆಡಳಿತ ಮಂಡಳಿಯ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದ ‘ಹೈ-ಟೀ’ (ಸಂಜೆ ಉಪಹಾರ) ಮತ್ತು ಬೋಂಡಾ-ಚಟ್ನಿಯಂತಹ ಉಪಹಾರಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಈ ಭೇಟಿಯು ಸಂತೋಷದಾಯಕವಾಗಿ ಮುಕ್ತಾಯಗೊಂಡಿತು.
ನಮ್ಮ ಸಮಯ, ಕಾಳಜಿ ಮತ್ತು ಒಡನಾಟವನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡಾಗ, ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರತಿಯಾಗಿ ಮಾನವೀಯ ಸಂಬಂಧಗಳ ಸಂತೋಷವೆಂಬ ಅತ್ಯಮೂಲ್ಯವಾದದ್ದನ್ನು ನಾವು ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತೇವೆ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ‘ಮಾನಸ’ದಲ್ಲಿನ ಈ ಅನುಭವವು ನಮಗೆ ನೆನಪಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟಿತು; ಸಿಎಸ್ (CS) ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಮಾರ್ಗರೇಟ್ ಡಿಸೋಜಾ ಅವರು ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದರು.

An afternoon of joy, fellowship and compassionate sharing
The Catholic Sabha Mount Rosary Church Unit, Santhekatte–Kallianpur, made a meaningful visit to Manasa Rehabilitation Centre, Pamboor, on Friday, 18 September 2026.
Despite short notice, 21 members responded spontaneously and spent nearly two hours sharing moments of joy and fellowship with the specially-abled children.
The visiting team received a warm and homely welcome from the Principal Sr Vinny Gonsalves,
Administrator Mr Anil Danti and staff, Chairman of the Trust Mr John Martis and members of the Centre.
The programme began with a soulful prayer hymn presented by the students, followed by the welcome address by the Principal.
The Chairman of the Trust gave a brief introduction to Manasa, outlining its functioning, vision and mission and the dedicated services rendered for the care, education, rehabilitation and overall development of specially-abled children.
The children then presented delightful dance and music programmes, displaying remarkable enthusiasm and talent. Their performances touched the hearts of the visitors and created an atmosphere of happiness and togetherness.
Speaking on behalf of the visiting team, Catholic Sabha President Mr Archibald Furtado expressed appreciation to the management, Principal, teachers and staff for their dedicated service. He congratulated the children for their inspiring performances and observed that the visit was an opportunity not only to share love and support but also to learn from the children’s courage, enthusiasm and joy.
The Principal proposed the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the CS Rosarians for the visit and its gesture of support as she reminded it is served and managed by Catholic Sabha.
As part of the outreach initiative, the Catholic Sabha handed over a cheque for ₹25,000/- to Manasa Rehabilitation Centre. The contribution was gratefully acknowledged by the management and Trust treasurer Mr Joseph Noronha with a letter of appreciation.
The Sabha expresses special gratitude to Reuben Rebello and his team for arranging refreshments for all children and staff. Thanks are also due to Elias D’Souza, Reuben Rebello, Arnold Roche, Luke D’Souza and Dancy Machado for accommodating the visiting members in their vehicles.
A special word of appreciation goes to all the donors, including those who were unable to join the visit because of prior commitments but generously contributed towards the cause.
The visit concluded with High Tea and refreshments, with management, including bonda and chutney, bringing the afternoon to a cheerful close.
The experience at Manasa was a gentle reminder that when we share our time, care and companionship, we receive something even more precious in return—the joy of human connections as CS Secretary Ms Margaret DSouza thanked one and all.
