ಮಿಲಾಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನಲ್ಲಿ “ಬೋಧನೆಯನ್ನು ಮೀರಿ: ಮನಸ್ಸುಗಳನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸುವುದು, ಸ್ಫೂರ್ತಿದಾಯಕ ಜೀವನಗಳು” ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರ

ಕಲ್ಯಾಣಪುರ; ಮಿಲಾಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಇತ್ತೀಚೆಗೆ “ಬೋಧನೆಯನ್ನು ಮೀರಿ: ಮನಸ್ಸುಗಳನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸುವುದು, ಸ್ಫೂರ್ತಿದಾಯಕ ಜೀವನಗಳು” ಎಂಬ ವಿಷಯದ ಕುರಿತು ಪರಿವರ್ತಕ ಒಂದು ದಿನದ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರವನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿತು, ಇದು ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠತೆಗೆ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಬದ್ಧತೆಗೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಆಂತರಿಕ ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟ ಭರವಸೆ ಕೋಶ (ಐಕ್ಯೂಎಸಿ) ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿದ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರವು ಬೋಧನಾ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಯನ್ನು ಒಳನೋಟವುಳ್ಳ ಚರ್ಚೆಗಳು, ಸಂವಾದಾತ್ಮಕ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ಪೂರ್ತಿದಾಯಕ ವಿಚಾರಗಳ ದಿನದ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಒಟ್ಟುಗೂಡಿಸಿತು.

ಐಕ್ಯೂಎಸಿ ಸಂಯೋಜಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಶೈಲೆಟ್ ಮಥಾಯಿಸ್ ಅವರು ಆತ್ಮೀಯ ಸ್ವಾಗತ ಭಾಷಣದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಧ್ವನಿಮುದ್ರಿಸಿದರು, ಬೋಧನಾ ಭ್ರಾತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರಂತರ ಕಲಿಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಯ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ತೋರಿಸಿದರು. ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಡಾ. ವಿನ್ಸೆಂಟ್ ಆಳ್ವಾ ಅವರು ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯಾಗಿ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರವನ್ನು ನಾಲ್ಕು ಅವಧಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಪರಿಣಿತವಾಗಿ ವಿಂಗಡಿಸಿದರು, ಅದು ಬೋಧನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಕಲಿಕೆಯ ನಿರ್ಣಾಯಕ ಅಂಶಗಳನ್ನು ಅನ್ವೇಷಿಸಿತು.

“ಕಲಿಕನನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು,” “ತಯಾರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ವಯಂ-ಸಾಕ್ಷಾತ್ಕಾರವಾಗಿ ಬೋಧನೆ,” “ನೀತಿಶಾಸ್ತ್ರ, ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರನ್ನು ಮಾದರಿಯಾಗಿ” ಮತ್ತು “ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸುವ ತರಗತಿ ತಂತ್ರಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸಂವಹನ” ಎಂಬ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಅವಧಿಗಳು ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ತಮ್ಮ ಅಭ್ಯಾಸಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಚಿಂತಿಸಲು ಮತ್ತು ಹೊಸ ಒಳನೋಟಗಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯಲು ಸಮಗ್ರ ಚೌಕಟ್ಟನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸಿದವು. ಕೇಸ್ ಸ್ಟಡೀಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ಪಾತ್ರಾಭಿನಯದ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡಿರುವ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರದ ಸಂವಾದಾತ್ಮಕ ಸ್ವರೂಪವು ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ವಿಚಾರಗಳನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಬೋಧನಾ ತಂತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ವಿನಿಮಯ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಮತ್ತು ಸಹಯೋಗದ ಕಲಿಕಾ ವಾತಾವರಣವನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸಲು ಅನುವು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಟ್ಟಿತು.

ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಉಪ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಸೋಫಿಯಾ ಡಯಾಸ್, ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಸಂಪರ್ಕ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ ಶ್ರೀ ರವಿನಂದನ್ ಭಟ್ ಮತ್ತು ವಿಭಾಗಗಳ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಿಂದ ಅಲಂಕರಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತು, ಅವರು ಬೋಧನಾ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಕ್ರಿಯವಾಗಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದರು. ಐಕ್ಯೂಎಸಿ ಸಂಯೋಜಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಶೈಲೆಟ್ ಮಥಾಯಿಸ್ ಅವರ ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರವು ಮುಕ್ತಾಯವಾಯಿತು, ಅವರು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸುವವರು ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಘಟಕರಿಗೆ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು.

“Beyond Teaching: Shaping Minds, Inspiring Lives” Workshop at Milagres College

Milagres College, Kallinpur, recently hosted a transformative one-day workshop on “Beyond Teaching: Shaping Minds, Inspiring Lives,” a testament to the institution’s commitment to excellence in education. Initiated by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), the workshop brought together the teaching staff for a day of insightful discussions, interactive activities, and inspiring ideas.

Mrs. Shylet Mathais, IQAC Coordinator, set the tone for the event with a warm welcome speech, highlighting the importance of continuous learning and growth in the teaching fraternity. Dr. Vincent Alva, Principal of the college, served as the resource person and expertly divided the workshop into four sessions that explored critical aspects of teaching and learning.

The four sessions – “Knowing the Learner,” “Teaching as Preparation and Self-Realization,” “Ethics, Values, and the Teacher as Model,” and “Classroom Techniques and Communication that Inspire” – provided a comprehensive framework for teachers to reflect on their practices and gain new insights. The workshop’s interactive nature, featuring case studies and role-playing activities, enabled teachers to exchange ideas and teaching techniques, fostering a collaborative learning environment.

The event was graced by the presence of Mrs. Sophia Dias, Vice Principal, Mr. Ravinandan Bhat, Public Relations Officer, and Heads of Departments, who actively participated alongside the teaching staff. The workshop concluded with a vote of thanks by Mrs. Shylet Mathais, IQAC Coordinator, who expressed gratitude to all participants and organizers.
