ಮಂಗಳೂರು: ವಿಜಿಲೆನ್ಸ್ ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಅಭಿಯಾನ 2026ರ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ಆಫ್ ಬರೋಡಾದ ಮಂಗಳೂರು ವಲಯ ಕಚೇರಿಯು ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್ 17ರಂದು ವಾಕಥಾನ್ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿತು. ಪ್ರಾಮಾಣಿಕತೆ ಮತ್ತು ನೈತಿಕ ನಡವಳಿಕೆಯ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ಸಾರುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ‘ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಗಾಗಿ ಸದಾಚಾರ’ ಎಂಬ ಅಭಿಯಾನದ ಘೋಷವಾಕ್ಯದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ನಡೆಯಿತು.

ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್‌ನ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಜಾಗೃತಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ತಜ್ವಿಂದರ್ ಕೌರ್ ಮತ್ತು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಕರಾವಳಿ ರಕ್ಷಣಾ ಪಡೆಯ ಕಮಾಂಡರ್, ಡಿಐಜಿ ಪಿ. ಕೆ. ಮಿಶ್ರಾ ಅವರು ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ 7 ಗಂಟೆಗೆ ವಾಕಥಾನ್‌ಗೆ ಚಾಲನೆ ನೀಡಿದರು. 200ಕ್ಕೂ ಅಧಿಕ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ಉದ್ಯೋಗಿಗಳು ಉತ್ಸಾಹದಿಂದ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಂಡರು. ಮಂಗಳೂರು ವಲಯದ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಾಪಕ ಹಾಗೂ ವಲಯ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥ ರಾಜೇಶ್ ಖನ್ನಾ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕಿನ ಹಿರಿಯ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು. ಮಂಗಳೂರು ವಲಯದ ಜಾಗೃತ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥ ಮನೀಶ್ ಜೈಸ್ವಾಲ್ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿದರು.

ಅಭಿಯಾನದ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ರಾಜೇಶ್ ಖನ್ನಾ ಅವರ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರ ಹಾಗೂ ಹಿರಿಯ ನಾಗರಿಕ ಗ್ರಾಹಕರ ಸಭೆಯನ್ನೂ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿತು.

Bank of Baroda organises walkathon on vigilance awareness

MANGALURU: Bank of Baroda’s Mangaluru Zonal Office organised a walkathon on October 17 as part of the Vigilance Awareness Campaign 2026, promoting integrity and ethical conduct under the theme ‘Probity for Prosperity’.

More than 200 bank employees participated in the walkathon, which was flagged off at 7 am by the bank’s Chief Vigilance Officer Tajvinder Kaur and P K Mishra, DIG and Coast Guard Commander, Karnataka, who was the chief guest.

Rajesh Khanna, general manager and zonal head, Mangaluru, and other senior bank officials attended the event. The dignitaries were welcomed by Manish Jaiswal, zonal vigilance head, Mangaluru Zone.

As part of the campaign, the bank also organised a workshop on vigilance awareness and a meet for senior citizen customers under the chairmanship of Khanna.
