ಭಾನುವಾರ, ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ 5, 2026 ರಂದು, ಮೌಂಟ್ ರೋಸರಿ ಚರ್ಚ್ ಮೈದಾನದ ಪ್ರಶಾಂತ ಪರಿಸರವು ಬಹುನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿತ ‘ಗ್ರ್ಯಾಂಡ್ ಜೋಶಲ್ ಡಿ’ಸೋಜಾ ಮ್ಯೂಸಿಕಲ್ ನೈಟ್’ ಅನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸುವುದರಿಂದ ಸಂಗೀತ, ಸಂತೋಷ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮುದಾಯ ಮನೋಭಾವದ ರೋಮಾಂಚಕ ಅಖಾಡವಾಗಿ ರೂಪಾಂತರಗೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತದೆ.
ದೈವಿಕ ದಯೆಯಿಂದ ಕಡಿಮೆಯಿಲ್ಲದಂತೆ ಕಾಣುವ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ, ಸಂತೆಕಟ್ಟೆ ಜಂಕ್ಷನ್ನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಬಹುನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿತ ಅಂಡರ್ಪಾಸ್ ಈಸ್ಟರ್ ಮುನ್ನಾದಿನದಂದು ವಾಹನ ಸಂಚಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಕ್ತವಾಗಲಿದೆ ಅಂದೆ ಈ ಮೆಗಾ ಈವೆಂಟ್ಗೆ ಸುಂದರವಾಗಿ ಹೊಂದಿಕೆಯಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ಸಮಯೋಚಿತ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಯು ಇತ್ತೀಚಿನ ವರ್ಷಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅತಿದೊಡ್ಡ ಮನರಂಜನಾ ಸಂಭ್ರಮಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರುವ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯಿರುವ ಸಾವಿರಾರು ಸಂಗೀತ ಪ್ರಿಯರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶವನ್ನು ಸುಲಭಗೊಳಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.
100 ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ ಮತ್ತು ಉದಯೋನ್ಮುಖ ಕಲಾವಿದರು, ಬೃಹತ್, ಕಲಾತ್ಮಕವಾಗಿ ವಿನ್ಯಾಸಗೊಳಿಸಲಾದ ವೇದಿಕೆ ಮತ್ತು 4,000 ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಪ್ರೇಕ್ಷಕರಿಗೆ ಆಸನ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ, ಸಂಜೆ ನಿಜವಾಗಿಯೂ ಅವಿಸ್ಮರಣೀಯವಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ಭರವಸೆ ನೀಡುತ್ತದೆ. ಗಾಳಿಯು ಲಯ, ಮಾಧುರ್ಯ, ನಗು ಮತ್ತು ಆಚರಣೆಯಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿರುತ್ತದೆ.
ಈ ಭವ್ಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಹೃದಯಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಳವಾದ ಅರ್ಥಪೂರ್ಣ ಉದ್ದೇಶವಿದೆ. ಗೊರೆಟ್ಟಿ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಲು ಹಣವನ್ನು ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸುವುದು ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಗುರಿಯಾಗಿದೆ, ಅವುಗಳೆಂದರೆ:

ಕಲ್ಯಾಣಪುರ, ಉಡುಪಿ, ಕುಂದಾಪುರ, ಶಿರ್ವ ಮತ್ತು ಕಾರ್ಕಳ – ಐದು ವಲಯಗಳ 52 ಧರ್ಮಕೇಂದ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ಯಾಥೋಲಿಕ್ ಸಭೆಯ ಬಲವಾದ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತಿಯು ಬೆಂಬಲವನ್ನು ಸಜ್ಜುಗೊಳಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಪಾತ್ರ ವಹಿಸಿದೆ. ನೆರೆಯ ಧರ್ಮಕೇಂದ್ರಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಹಿತೈಷಿಗಳಿಂದ ಬಂದ ಹೃತ್ಪೂರ್ವಕ ಸಹಕಾರವನ್ನು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಶಂಸಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅಂಗೀಕರಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

Come Sunday, 5th April 2026, the serene surroundings of Mount Rosary Church Grounds will transform into a vibrant arena of music, joy, and community spirit as it hosts the much-awaited ‘Grand Joshal D’Souza Musical Nite’.
In what seems nothing short of divine providence, the long-anticipated underpass at Santhekatte Junction is set to open for vehicular movement just on the eve of Easter—coinciding beautifully with this mega event. This timely development will ease access for thousands of music lovers expected to gather for one of the largest entertainment extravaganzas in recent years.
With over 100 renowned and budding artists, a massive, aesthetically designed stage, and seating arrangements for more than 4,000 spectators, the evening promises to be truly unforgettable. The air will be filled with rhythm, melody, laughter, and celebration.
At the heart of this grand event lies a deeply meaningful purpose. The programme aims to raise funds for enhancing medical facilities at Goretti Hospital, including:
Installation of three new dialysis machines under the ‘Catholic Sabha Kidney Dialysis Centre’
Providing concessional treatment for poor patients
Arranging an ambulance service
Creating a foundation for full-time specialist care in Urology, Gynaecology, and Nephrology
These initiatives reflect a compassionate commitment to serve the marginalised and needy—making this evening not just entertaining, but truly transformative.
Leading this noble mission is Mr. Ronald D’Almeida, President of the Catholic Sabha Udupi Diocese, along with his dedicated and dynamic team, who are leaving no stone unturned to make this event a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Catholic Sabha’s strong presence across 51 in 52 parishes in the five deaneries—Kallianpur, Udupi, Kundapura, Shirva, and Karkala—has played a vital role in mobilising support. The wholehearted cooperation from neighbouring parishes and well-wishers has been deeply appreciated and acknowledged.
The star of the evening, Joshal D’Souza, a proud recipient of the ,’Gulf Voice of Mangalore’ will enthral the audience with her soulful renditions in Konkani, Kannada, Tulu, and Hindi. Her melodious voice, combined with energetic dance performances and a lively comedy team, will ensure a perfect blend of entertainment for all age groups.
Adding to the festive atmosphere, food stalls, ice cream counters, and refreshments will delight youth and families alike, making it a complete evening outing.
A brief stage programme will honour the generosity of donors whose contributions have made this initiative possible. The segment will be gracefully compered by the seasoned and popular Leslie Aroza from Thottam.
The local Catholic Sabha unit, under the leadership of President Archibald Furtado, along with Project In-charge and former President Elias D’Souza, has mobilised tremendous support at the grassroots level.
With the encouragement of Parish Priest Rev. Dr. Roque D’Souza, active laity leadership, ICYM youth, and various women’s organisations, preparations are in full swing to warmly welcome participants from across the Udupi Diocese.
