ಕುಂದಾಪುರ; ಯುಬಿಎಂಸಿ ಆಂಗ್ಲ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ಶಾಲೆ, ಮತ್ತು ಸಿಎಸ್ಐ ಕೃಪಾ ನರ್ಸರಿ ಶಾಲೆ ಕುಂದಾಪುರ, ಇಲ್ಲಿ 15-08-2026 ಶನಿವಾರ 80ನೇ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯ ಧ್ವಜಾರೋಹಣ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಅದ್ದೂರಿಯಾಗಿ ನಡೆಯಿತು. ಚರ್ಚಿನ ಧರ್ಮಗಳು ಧರ್ಮ ಗುರುಗಳಾದ ರವರ ಇಮ್ಮನುಲ್ ಜಯಕರರವರು ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ ಧ್ವಜಾರೋಹಣ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ನಡೆಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು ಹಾಗೂ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಧ್ವಜ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಗೀತೆಯ ಮೂಲ ಪ್ರಾಮುಖ್ಯತೆಗಳನ್ನು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಂಕ್ಷಿಪ್ತವಾಗಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಭಾಷಣದ ಮೂಲಕ ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಲಾ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಆಡಳಿತ ಮಂಡಳಿಯ ಸದಸ್ಯರಾದ ಜೀವನ್ ಸಾಲಿನ್ಸ್, ಶಾಲಾ ಸಂಚಾಲಕಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಐರಿನ್ ಸಾಲಿನ್ಸ್ ಶಾಲಾ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲೆ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಅನಿತಾ ಆಲಿಸ್ ಡಿಸೋಜಾ ಕೃಪಾ ನರ್ಸರಿ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಮುಖ್ಯೋಪಾಧ್ಯಾಯನಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಸವಿತಾ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದವರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ಶಾಲಾ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲೆ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಅನಿತಾ ರವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯ ನುಡಿಗಳಿಂದ ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿದರು. ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯದ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯ ಪ್ರಯುಕ್ತ ನಡೆದ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಜೇತರಾದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಪಟ್ಟಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸಹ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ರಾಜೇಶ್ವರಿ ವಾಚಿಸಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಬಹುಮಾನ ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು. ತಂಬಾಕು ಸೇವಿಸದಂತೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ನೆರೆದಿರುವಂತಹ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಂದಲೂ ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞಾವಿಧಿಯನ್ನು ಸಹ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ವೀಣಾ ಬೋಧಿಸಿದರು ಅಂತೆಯೇ ಅಮೂಲ್ಯವಾದ ಜಲಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲದ ಉಳಿವಿಗಾಗಿ ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞೆಗೆಯುವಂತೆ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಸವಿತಾ ಬೋಧಿಸಿದರು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಯಶಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಕಾರಣೀಕರ್ತರಾದವರು ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಶಾಲಾ ಸಂಚಾಲಕಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಐರಿನ್ ಸಾಲಿನ್ಸ್ ರವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಮನದಾಳದ ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳನ್ನು ಭಾಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ಈ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಪವಿತ್ರ ಕೊತ್ವಾಲ್ರವರ ನಿರೂಪಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಯಿತು. ಇದಕ್ಕೂ ಮೊದಲು ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ಸಪ್ತಾಹವನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿ, ದೇಶಭಕ್ತಿಯ ಚೈತನ್ಯವನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸಲು ಮತ್ತು ಭಾರತೀಯ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನೇ ತ್ಯಾಗ ಮಾಡಿದ ನಮ್ಮ ನಾಯಕರು ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ಹೋರಾಟಗಾರರ ಹುತಾತ್ಮತೆಯನ್ನು ಶ್ಲಾಘಿಸಲು ಮತ್ತು ಗೌರವಿಸಲು ಚಿತ್ರಕಲೆ, ಕರಕುಶಲತೆ, ಹಾಡುಗಾರಿಕೆ, ನೃತ್ಯ, ರಸಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ ಮುಂತಾದ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು.

UBMC English Medium School, and CSI Krupa Nursery School, Kundapur, celebrated the 80th Independence Day with great pomp and show on Saturday, 15-08-2026. Reverend Immanul Jayakar, a religious scholar, participated as the chief guest and conducted the flag hoisting program and briefly explained the basic importance of the national flag and national anthem to the students through his speech. Jeevan Sallins, member of the school local management board, school coordinator Smt. Irene Sallins, school principal Smt. Anita Alice D’Souza, headmistress of Krupa Nursery School Smt. Savita were present at the program. The school principal Smt. Anita welcomed everyone who came to the program with her loving words. The list of winners of the competitions held on the occasion of Independence Day was read out by the co-teacher Mrs. Rajeshwari and prizes were given to the children. The co-teacher Mrs. Veena administered the pledge to the students and all those present not to consume tobacco and Mrs. Savita also administered the pledge to preserve the precious water resource. The school correspondent Mrs. Irene Sallins expressed her heartfelt thanks to all those who contributed to the success of the program in her speech. All this program was a success under the guidance of Mrs. Pavithra Kotwal.

Independence week was organised.Activities and competitions like Drawing, Craft , Singing, dance , Quiz etc were conducted to inculcate the spirit of Patriotism and appreciate and honour the martyrdom of our leaders and freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for Indian Independence.
