ಬಾರ್ಕೂರು; ಎಂಎಂ ಮೋಟಾರ್ ಮೆಕ್ಯಾನಿಕಲ್ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರಾಗಿ 34 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿ ನಿವೃತ್ತರಾದ ಪ್ರಖ್ಯಾತ ಅಧ್ಯಾಪಕ ಪ್ರೊ. ಜನಾರ್ದನ ಶೇರಿಗಾರ್ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಬಾರ್ಕೂರಿನ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ ತರಬೇತಿ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ (ಎನ್.ಐ.ಟಿ.ಐ) ಭಾವಪೂರ್ಣ ವಿದಾಯ ಹೇಳಿದೆ.

ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಅವರ ಸಹೋದ್ಯೋಗಿಗಳಿಂದ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಸೇವೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಯಿತು, ನಂತರ ಆತ್ಮೀಯ ಸ್ವಾಗತ ದೊರೆಯಿತು. ಅಧ್ಯಾಪಕ ಸದಸ್ಯರು ಹೃದಯಸ್ಪರ್ಶಿ ಗೌರವಗಳನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡರು, ಅವರ ಸಮರ್ಪಣೆ, ನವೀನ ಬೋಧನಾ ವಿಧಾನಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಮಾನವೀಯ ಗುಣಗಳನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ತೋರಿಸಿದರು. ಹಲವಾರು ಮಾದರಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಮೂಲಮಾದರಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರವನ್ನು ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಪಡಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ಗಮನಾರ್ಹ ಕೊಡುಗೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಯಿಂದ ಸ್ಮರಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.

ಮಾಜಿ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲ ಪ್ರೊ. ದಿನಕರ್ ಥೋಲಾರ್ ಅವರು ಆರಂಭಿಕ ವರ್ಷಗಳನ್ನು ನೆನಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು ಮತ್ತು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಪ್ರೊ. ಶೇರಿಗಾರ್ ಅವರ ಬದ್ಧತೆಯನ್ನು ಶ್ಲಾಘಿಸಿದರು. ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲ ಪ್ರೊ. ವೆಂಕಟೇಶ್ ಕ್ರಮಧಾರಿ ಅವರು 1988 ರಿಂದ ಅವರ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸಾರ್ಹತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಕಳಂಕರಹಿತ ಸೇವೆಯನ್ನು ಶ್ಲಾಘಿಸಿದರು.

ಪ್ರೊ. ಶೇರಿಗಾರ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಲು, ಹಾರ, ಸ್ಮರಣಿಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪೇಟಾದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಬಾರ್ಕೂರು ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಸಂಘದ ಪದಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿ ಅವರ ನಿವೃತ್ತಿ ಜೀವನಕ್ಕೆ ಶುಭ ಹಾರೈಸಿದರು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಸಹ ಹೂಗುಚ್ಛಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ಮರಣಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಿ ಗೌರವ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು.

ತಮ್ಮ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷೀಯ ಭಾಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ, ಶ್ರೀ ಬಿ. ಶಾಂತಾರಾಮ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಅವರು NITI ಯ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಗೆ ನೀಡಿದ ಅಪಾರ ಕೊಡುಗೆಗಳನ್ನು ಶ್ಲಾಘಿಸಿದರು. ಸನ್ಮಾನಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಕ್ರಿಯಿಸಿದ ಪ್ರೊ. ಶೇರಿಗಾರ್, NITI ಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಯಾಣವನ್ನು ತೃಪ್ತಿಕರ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ಮರಣೀಯವಾಗಿಸಿದ್ದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದರು.

ಪ್ರೊ. ಶೇರಿಗಾರ್ ಪ್ರಾಯೋಜಿಸಿದ ಧನ್ಯವಾದ ಮತ್ತು ಸಹಭಾಗಿತ್ವದ ಊಟದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಮುಕ್ತಾಯವಾಯಿತು.

The National Industrial Training Institute (NITI), Barkur, accorded a heartfelt farewell to its distinguished faculty member, Prof. Janardhan Sherigar, on the occasion of his retirement after 34 years of dedicated service as Head of the MM Motor Mechanical Department.
The programme began with a prayer service by his colleagues, followed by a warm welcome. Faculty members shared touching tributes, highlighting his dedication, innovative teaching methods, and humane qualities. His remarkable contribution in developing the workshop with numerous models and prototypes was fondly recalled.
Former Principal Prof. Dinakar Tholar reminisced about the early years and appreciated Prof. Sherigar’s commitment towards student development. Principal Prof. Venkatesh Kramadhari praised his reliability and blemish-free service since 1988.
Prof. Sherigar was felicitated with a shawl, garland, memento, and peta in the presence of his family. Office bearers of The Barkur Educational Society expressed their gratitude and wished him a happy retired life. Students too paid their respects with bouquets and mementos.
In his presidential address, Mr. B. Shantarama Shetty lauded his immense contributions to NITI’s growth. Responding to the honours, Prof. Sherigar thanked all for making his journey at NITI fulfilling and memorable.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks and a fellowship lunch sponsored by Prof. Sherigar.
