ಕಲ್ಯಾಣಪುರ, ಮೇ 8, 2026; ‘ಎಂಸಿಸಿ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕಿನ 114 ನೇ ಸ್ಥಾಪಕರ ದಿನ’ವನ್ನು ಸಂತೆಕಟ್ಟೆ-ಕಲ್ಯಾಣಪುರ ಶಾಖೆಯಲ್ಲಿಮೇ 8, 2026 ರಂದು ಭಕ್ತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಘನತೆಯಿಂದ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ಶತಮಾನಗಳಷ್ಟು ಹಳೆಯದಾದ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಶ್ರೀಮಂತ ಪರಂಪರೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸೇವಾ-ಆಧಾರಿತ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಕೋನವನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿಬಿಂಬಿಸುವ ಸುಂದರ ಮತ್ತು ಅರ್ಥಪೂರ್ಣ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆಚರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು.
ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಶಾಖಾ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಾಪಕಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಜ್ಯೋತಿ ಬರೆಟ್ಟೊ ಅವರಿಂದ ಆತ್ಮೀಯ ಮತ್ತು ಸೌಹಾರ್ದಯುತ ಸ್ವಾಗತದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಯಿತು, ಅವರು ‘ಸಹಕಾರಿ ರತ್ನ’ ಶ್ರೀ ಅನಿಲ್ ಲೋಬೊ ನೇತೃತ್ವದ “ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಕ್ಯಾಥೋಲಿಕ್ ಸಹಕಾರಿ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್” ಮತ್ತು ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಕನ್ನಡ ಮತ್ತು ಉಡುಪಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕಿನ ಗಮನಾರ್ಹ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಗೆ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಪಾತ್ರ ವಹಿಸಿರುವ ಅವರ ಸಹಚರರನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ನಿರ್ದಿಷ್ಟವಾಗಿ ಸಂತೆಕಟ್ಟೆ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣಪುರ ಶಾಖೆಯನ್ನು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿದ 7 ತಿಂಗಳೊಳಗೆ 10 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ. ವ್ಯವಹಾರವನ್ನು ದಾಟಿದ ಅವರ ಸಹಚರರನ್ನು ಸಂಕ್ಷಿಪ್ತವಾಗಿ ವೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿದರು.
ಸಭಿಕರನ್ನುದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕಿನ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ಡಾ. ಜೆರಾಲ್ಡ್ ಪಿಂಟೊ, ಕಟ್ಪಾಡಿಯಂತಹ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಸ ಶಾಖೆಗಳನ್ನು ತೆರೆಯುವುದು, ಹೆಚ್ಚುವರಿ ಗ್ರಾಹಕ ಸ್ನೇಹಿ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯಗಳ ಪರಿಚಯ, ಸುಧಾರಿತ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕಿಂಗ್ ಸೇವೆಗಳು, ಡಿಜಿಟಲೀಕರಣ, ಎಟಿಎಂ ಮತ್ತು ಸದಸ್ಯರು ಮತ್ತು ಠೇವಣಿದಾರರಿಗೆ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣ-ಆಧಾರಿತ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳು ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ವಿಸ್ತರಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗಾಗಿ ಮಂಡಳಿಯ ಭವಿಷ್ಯದ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳೆಂದು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು. ಠೇವಣಿದಾರರು ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಲಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಮುಂಗಡಗಳ ಬೆಂಬಲದೊಂದಿಗೆ, 2037 ರ ವೇಳೆಗೆ ಎಂಸಿಸಿ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ಭಾರತದ ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ನಿಗದಿತ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದಾಗಿ ಎಣಿಸಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ವಿಶ್ವಾಸ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
ಆಚರಣೆಯ ಒಂದು ಹೃದಯಸ್ಪರ್ಶಿ ಕ್ಷಣವೆಂದರೆ ದೂರದೃಷ್ಟಿಯ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾಪಕ ಪಿಎಫ್ಎಕ್ಸ್ ಸಲ್ಡಾನ್ಹಾ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾಂಜಲಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವುದು. ಸಹಕಾರಿ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕಿಂಗ್ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಅವರ ದೂರದೃಷ್ಟಿಯ ನಾಯಕತ್ವ ಮತ್ತು ಬದ್ಧತೆಗೆ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ಮರಣಾರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಗಣ್ಯರು ಸುಂದರವಾಗಿ ಅಲಂಕರಿಸಿದ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾಪಕರ ಭಾವಚಿತ್ರದ ಮುಂದೆ ಪುಷ್ಪನಮನ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು.
ಶಾಖಾ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಾಪಕಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಜ್ಯೋತಿ ಬರೆಟ್ಟೊ ಮತ್ತು ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ಸದಸ್ಯರು ಸಂಭ್ರಮಾಚರಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉತ್ಸಾಹದಿಂದ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಹಿರಿಯ ನಾಗರಿಕರು ಮತ್ತು ಉನ್ನತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣವನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ವಿಶೇಷ ಕಾಳಜಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರುವ MCC ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ನೀಡುವ ವಿವಿಧ ಆಕರ್ಷಕ ಠೇವಣಿ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಬ್ಯಾಂಕಿಂಗ್ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಉಪಯುಕ್ತ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸಿದರು.

ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಫೆಲೋಶಿಪ್ ಮತ್ತು ಉಪಹಾರಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂತೋಷದಾಯಕ ವಾತಾವರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಕ್ತಾಯವಾಯಿತು, ವಿಶ್ವಾಸಾರ್ಹ ಹಣಕಾಸು ಸೇವೆ, ಸಹಕಾರಿ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸಮುದಾಯ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಯ ಕಡೆಗೆ MCC ಬ್ಯಾಂಕಿನ ನಿರಂತರ ಬದ್ಧತೆಯನ್ನು ಪುನರುಚ್ಚರಿಸಿತು.

MCC Bank Celebrates 114th Founder’s Day at Santhekatte–Kallianpur Branch, one of its fast growing Branche
‘The 114th Founder’s Day of MCC Bank’ was celebrated with devotion and dignity at the Santhekatte–Kallianpur Branch on Friday, 8th May 2026 at 10.00 a.m.
Of course it was a cloudy morning after the pre-monsoon showers at wee hours, but the function witnessed the gracious presence of account holders, well-wishers, invited guests, directors, staff members and patrons of the Bank.
Though simple in nature, the celebration was organised in a beautiful and meaningful manner reflecting the rich legacy and service-oriented vision of the century old institution.
The programme commenced with
a homely and cordial welcome by the Branch Manager Ms Jyothi Baretto, who gave a brief glimpse of “Mangalore Catholic Cooperative Bank”, led by ‘Sahakari Ratna’ Mr. Anil Lobo, and his associates who has been instrumental in the remarkable growth of the Bank across Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts, in general and Santhekatte Kallianpur branch in particular, crossing Rs 10 Crores business within 7 months of its opening…!
Addressing the audience, Director of the Bank Dr Gerald Pinto highlighted the Board’s future plans for expansion and development, including opening of new branches, in places like Katpady etc, introduction of additional customer-friendly facilities, improved banking services, digitalization, ATM and welfare-oriented schemes for members and depositors. With the support of both depositors and loans and advances, he expressed confidence that by 2037, MCC Bank will be counted one amongst best scheduled Bank in India.
A touching moment of the celebration was the paying of rich tributes to the visionary founder PFX Saldanha. Guests and dignitaries offered floral petals before the beautifully decorated portrait of the founder as a mark of gratitude and remembrance for his farsighted leadership and commitment towards cooperative banking.
The Branch Manager Ms Jyothi Baretto and staff members enthusiastically participated in the celebration and provided useful information regarding various attractive deposit schemes and banking facilities offered by MCC Bank, with special concern towards senior citizens and students pursuing higher education.
Ms Prathvi Kumari Staff members of the unit, proposed vote of thanks to all gathered, especially customers, well-wishers and stakeholders.
The programme concluded in a joyful atmosphere with fellowship and refreshments, reaffirming MCC Bank’s continued commitment towards trustworthy financial service, cooperative values and community development.
