ತಲ್ಲೂರು ಸಂತ ಫ್ರಾನ್ಸಿಸ್ ಆಸ್ಸಿಸಿ ದೇವಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಧ್ಯಾತ್ಮಿಕ ಶಿಬಿರ

ತಲ್ಲೂರು ಸಂತ ಫ್ರಾನ್ಸಿಸ್ ಆಸ್ಸಿಸಿ ದೇವಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ರೈಸ್ತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ, ಪವಿತ್ರ ಬೈಬಲ್, ಪೂಜಾ ವಿಧಿ ವಿಧಾನ ಹಾಗೂ ಸುವಾರ್ತೆ ಪ್ರಸಾರ ಆಯೋಗಗಳ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಚರ್ಚಿನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗಾಗಿ ರವರೆಗೆ ನಾಲ್ಕು ದಿನಗಳ ಬೇಸಿಗೆ ರಜೆಯ ಆಧ್ಯಾತ್ಮಿಕ ತರಬೇತಿ ಶಿಬಿರವನ್ನು ಇತ್ತೀಚೆಗೆ ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಈ ಶಿಬಿರದಲ್ಲಿ ಚರ್ಚಿನ 45 ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
ಉಡುಪಿ ಧರ್ಮಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯದ ದೇವಕರೆಯ ಆಯೋಗದ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಾದ ವಂ। ಫಾ. ಅಶ್ವಿನ್ ಅರಾನ್ನರವರು ಪವಿತ್ರ ಬಲಿಪೂಜೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಶಿಬಿರವನ್ನು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿದರು.
ನಾಲ್ಕು ದಿನಗಳ ಶಿಬಿರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಫಾ. ಅಶ್ವಿನ್ ಅರಾನ್ನಾ, ಉಡುಪಿ ಧರ್ಮಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯದ ಪವಿತ್ರ ಬೈಬಲ್ ಆಯೋಗದ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಾದ ವಂ। ಫಾ. ಜಿತೇಶ್ ಕ್ಯಾಸ್ತಲೀನೋ ಹಾಗೂ ಪೂಜಾ ವಿಧಿ ವಿಧಾನ ಆಯೋಗದ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಾದ ವಂ। ಫಾ. ವಿಲ್ಸನ್ ಡಿಸೋಜಾ ಅವರು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದರು. ಮಿಷನರಿ ಮೇಳದ ವಿವಿಧ ಆಯಾಮಗಳು, ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಭಕ್ತರ ಪಾತ್ರ, ‘ಲೆಕ್ಸಿಯೋ ದಿವಿನಾ’ (ಬೈಬಲ್ ಓದು ಮತ್ತು ಧ್ಯಾನ ವಿಧಾನ), ಧರ್ಮಗ್ರಂಥ ಮತ್ತು ಪವಿತ್ರ ಬೈಬಲ್ ನಡುವಿನ ವ್ಯತ್ಯಾಸ, ಹಾಗೂ ಪೂಜಾ ವಿಧಿ ವಿಧಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಬದಲಾವಣೆಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಗುಂಪು ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ತರಬೇತಿ ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು.
ಬೆಳಗಿನ ಅವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನದ ಅವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಪೋಷಕರಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಆಯೋಗದ ಸದಸ್ಯರಿಗೆ ತರಬೇತಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು.
ಕೊನೆಯ ದಿನ ಪಕ್ಷಿಕೆರೆ ಪುಣ್ಯಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಶಿಬಿರವನ್ನು ಸಂಪನ್ನ ಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ಈ ತರಬೇತಿ ಚರ್ಚಿನ ಧರ್ಮಗುರುಗಳಾದ ವಂದನೀಯ ಫಾ. ಎಡ್ವಿನ್ ಡಿಸೋಜಾರವರ ಮುಂದಾಳತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯಿತು. ಕ್ರೈಸ್ತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಸಹಕರಿಸಿದರು. YCS ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಜಯರಾಣಿ ಕಾನ್ವೆಂಟಿನ ಧರ್ಮಭಗಿನಿಯರು ವಿವಿಧ ಆಟೋಟ ಹಾಗೂ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ರಂಜಿಸಿದರು.
ಈ ಶಿಬಿರದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳು, ಪೋಷಕರು ಹಾಗೂ ಇತರರು ಸೇರಿ ನೂರೈವತ್ತಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಮಂದಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ ತರಬೇತಿಯ ಪ್ರಯೋಜನವನ್ನು ಪಡೆದರು.

At St. Francis Assisi Church, Tallur, a four-day summer spiritual training camp for children was organized from 13/04/2026 to 16/04/2026 under the leadership of the Commissions for Christian Education, Holy Bible, Liturgy, and Evangelization. A total of 45 children from the parish participated in the camp.

The camp was inaugurated on April 13 at 8:00 a.m. with the Holy Mass by Rev. Fr. Ashwin Aranha, Director of the Commission of Call (Vocation) of the Diocese of Udupi.

During the four-day camp, the resource persons included Rev. Fr. Ashwin Aranha, Rev. Fr. Jithesh Castellino, Director of the Holy Bible Commission of the Diocese of Udupi, and Rev. Fr. Wilson D’Souza, Director of the Liturgy Commission. They conducted sessions through group activities on various topics such as different aspects of the missionary mela, the role of children and lay faithful, “Lectio Divina” (Bible reading and meditation), the difference between Scripture and the Holy Bible, and the changes in liturgical practices.

Training sessions were organized for children in the morning and for parents and commission members in the afternoon.

On the final day, April 16, the camp concluded with a visit to the pilgrimage centre at Pakshikere.

The training program was conducted under the leadership of the parish priest, Rev. Fr. Edwin D’Souza. Catechism teachers assisted on Sunday. YCS students and the sisters of Jaya Rani Convent conducted various games and activities, engaging the children.

More than 150 participants, including children, parents, and others, took part in the camp and benefited from the training.
