ಕುಂದಾಪುರ: ಯು.ಬಿ.ಎಂ.ಸಿ. ಇಂಗ್ಲಿಷ್ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ 23.10.2025 ರಂದು ತಂಬಾಕು ಮುಕ್ತ ಶಾಲೆ “ತಂಬಾಕು ಪೋಸ್ಟರ್ ತಯಾರಿಕೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ನಡೆಯಿತು.
ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಅನಿತಾ ಆಲಿಸ್ ಡಿಸೋಜಾ ಅವರ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸಹಾಯಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಪವಿತ್ರಾ ಅವರ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ, 5, 6 ಮತ್ತು 7 ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ತಂಬಾಕಿನ ಹಾನಿಕಾರಕ ಪರಿಣಾಮಗಳ ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಕುರಿತು ಪೋಸ್ಟರ್ಗಳನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಪಡಿಸಿದರು. ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆರೋಗ್ಯಕರ ವಾತಾವರಣವನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸುವುದು. ಪೋಸ್ಟರ್ಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಫಲಕಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ತರಗತಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿ “ತಂಬಾಕು ಮುಕ್ತ ಶಾಲಾ ಅಭಿಯಾನ”ದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಮೂಡಿಸಿದರು. ಅವರು ತಂಬಾಕಿನ ವಿವಿಧ ರೂಪಗಳನ್ನು, ತಂಬಾಕು ಬಳಕೆಯಿಂದ ಉಂಟಾಗುವ ವಿವಿಧ ರೋಗಗಳನ್ನು ಪಟ್ಟಿ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಭಾರತದ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯುತ ನಾಗರಿಕರಾಗಿ, ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಸಹಪಾಠಿಗಳನ್ನು ತಂಬಾಕು ಬಳಸದಂತೆ ಮತ್ತು ತಮ್ಮ ಮನೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮತ್ತು ನೆರೆಹೊರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರೀತಿಪಾತ್ರರನ್ನು ಸಹ ತಂಬಾಕು ಬಳಸದಂತೆ ಒತ್ತಾಯಿಸಿದರು. ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ತಂಬಾಕು ಬಳಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಅಥವಾ ಇತರರು ತಂಬಾಕು ಬಳಸಲು ಬಿಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
“Tobacco Poster Making Program” at UBMC English Medium School
Kundapura: Thursday: 23.10.2025 : U.B.M.C. English Medium School conducted the “Tobacco Poster making programme ” to spread Tobacco Free School ” on Thursday, 23.10.2025, in the school.
Under the leadership of the Principal, Smt.Anita Alice Dsouza and mentoring of Asst.Teacher, Smt. Pavithra, the students of Class 5, 6, and 7, prepared posters on awareness of the harmful effects of tobacco. fostering a healthy environment at school. Students holding posters and placards visited all the classes and spread the awareness of the “Tobacco Free School Campaign. ” They listed the different forms of tobacco , the various diseases caused due to usage of Tobacco. Being responsible citizens of India, they urged their fellow students not to use tobacco and not to allow their dear ones at their homes and neighbourhood also from using tobacco. All students swore that they won’t use nor allow others to use tobacco.
