ಕಲ್ಯಾಣಪುರ ; ಪ್ರಕೃತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮುದಾಯ ಮನೋಭಾವದ ಅರ್ಥಪೂರ್ಣ ಆಚರಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ, ಸಂತೆಕಟ್ಟೆ-ಕಲ್ಯನ್‌ಪುರದ ಮೌಂಟ್ ರೋಸರಿ ಚರ್ಚ್‌ನ ಕಥೋಲಿಕ್ ಸಭಾ, ಅದರ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು, ಪದಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸದಸ್ಯರ ಸಮರ್ಥ ನಾಯಕತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ, ಗುರುವಾರ, 7 ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 2025 ರಂದು ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ 10.00 ಗಂಟೆಗೆ ವನ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವ 2025 ಮತ್ತು ಸಸಿಗಳ ಉಚಿತ ವಿತರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಮುನ್ನಡೆಸಿತು. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಿ ನಗರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಆಶಾ ರಾಕಿ ಡಿ’ಸೋಜಾ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಸುಂದರವಾದ ಮತ್ತು ಉತ್ತಮವಾಗಿ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಎಸ್ಟೇಟ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಸಲು ಉದಾರವಾಗಿ ಆಯೋಜನೆ ಮಾಡಲು ಸಹಕರಿಸಿದರು.

ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಆಶಾ ರಾಕಿ ಡಿ’ಸೋಜಾ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹೃತ್ಪೂರ್ವಕವಾಗಿ ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಇಂತಹ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕವಾಗಿ ಅರ್ಥಪೂರ್ಣ ಉಪಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿದ್ದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಸಂತೋಷವನ್ನು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು. ಆಯೋಜಕರ ಬದ್ಧ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರು ಶ್ಲಾಘಿಸಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಪರಿಸರ ಧ್ಯೇಯಕ್ಕೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಬೆಂಬಲವನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದರು.

ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಜಂಟಿ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಪರಿಸರ ಆಯೋಗ, MRC, ಪ್ರೇರಣ ಸ್ವ-ಸಹಯ ಸಂಘ, ಕಥೊಲಿಕ್ ಸಭಾ, ಕಲ್ಯಾಣಪುರ ವಲ ಇವರ ಸಹಯೋಗದೊಂದಿಗೆ ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು:

ಪರಿಸರ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯ ಸಾಂಕೇತಿಕವಾಗಿ, ವಿವಿಧ ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ನಾಗರಿಕ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳ ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಗಳು ಎಸ್ಟೇಟನಾದ್ಯಂತ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕ ಸಸಿಗಳನ್ನು ನೆಟ್ಟರು, ಪ್ರಕೃತಿಯನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವ ತಮ್ಮ ಬದ್ಧತೆಯನ್ನು ಪುನರುಚ್ಚರಿಸಿದರು.
ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭಕ್ಕೆ ಮೌಲ್ಯವನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಸುತ್ತಾ, ಹಣ್ಣು ಬಿಡುವ ಮತ್ತು ಔಷಧೀಯ ಸಸಿಗಳನ್ನು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸುವವರಿಗೆ ಉಚಿತವಾಗಿ ವಿತರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಕಥೊಲಿಕ್ ಸಭಾ ಮೌಂಟ್ ರೋಸರಿ ಚರ್ಚ್‌ನ ಮಾಜಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಎಲಿಯಾಸ್ ಡಿಸೋಜಾ ಅವರು ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಉದಾರವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಾಯೋಜಿಸಿದ್ದರು. . ಭಾಗವಹಿಸುವವರು ಈ ಸಸಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮನೆಗೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಪೋಷಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ನಾಳೆಯ ಹಸಿರುಗಾಗಿ ಕೊಡುಗೆ ನೀಡಲು ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತಾ, ಕ್ಯಾಥೊಲಿಕ್ ಸಭಾ ಮತ್ತು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸಂಘಟನಾ ಗುಂಪುಗಳ ಪರವಾಗಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಆರ್ಚಿಬಾಲ್ಡ್ ಫುರ್ಟಾಡೊ, ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಮತ್ತು ಈ ಉದಾತ್ತ ಉದ್ದೇಶಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಎಸ್ಟೇಟ್ ಅನ್ನು ತೆರೆಯುವಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಆಶಾ ರಾಕಿ ಡಿಸೋಜಾ ಅವರ ಉದಾರತೆಗೆ ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದರು. ಪರಿಸರ ಸುಸ್ಥಿರತೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಮೂಡಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳ ಒಗ್ಗಟ್ಟು ಮತ್ತು ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಳ್ಳುವಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಅವರು ಶ್ಲಾಘಿಸಿದರು. ಆತಿಥೇಯ ಕುಟುಂಬವು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಹಾಜರಿದ್ದವರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯಿಂದ ಉಪಹಾರ ಮತ್ತು ಚಹಾವನ್ನು ನೀಡುವುದರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಆತ್ಮೀಯ ಸಹಭಾಗಿತ್ವದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮುಕ್ತಾಯವಾಯಿತು.

Kalyanpur; In a meaningful celebration of nature and community spirit, the Catholic Sabha of Mount Rosary Church, Santhekatte-Kallianpur, under the able leadership of its President, office bearers and Members spearheaded the Vana Mahotsava 2025 and Free Distribution of Saplings on Thursday, 7th August 2025, at 10.00 am. The event was held in the scenic and well-maintained estate of Mrs Asha Rocky D’Souza in Laxmi Nagara, who graciously hosted the gathering.

Mrs Asha Rocky D’Souza warmly welcomed all the guests and expressed her joy in hosting such a socially meaningful initiative. She acknowledged the committed efforts of the organisers and extended her support to the environmental mission.

In a symbolic gesture of environmental responsibility, representatives from various pious and civic-minded organisations planted individual saplings across the estate grounds, reaffirming their commitment to protecting nature.
Adding value to the occasion, fruit-bearing and medicinal saplings were distributed freely to all participants. These were generously sponsored by Mr Elias D’Souza, former President of Catholic Sabha Mount Rosary Church. Participants were encouraged to take these saplings home and contribute towards a greener tomorrow by nurturing them.
In his vote of thanks, Mr Archibald Furtado, on behalf of the Catholic Sabha and all organising groups, profusely thanked Mrs Asha Rocky D’Souza for her magnanimity in hosting the programme and for opening her estate for this noble cause. He also appreciated the unity and involvement of all participating organisations in spreading awareness about environmental sustainability.
The event concluded with warm fellowship as the host family lovingly served all attendees with refreshments and tea, making it a truly enriching and memorable morning.
