79th Independence Day Celebration at AIMIT Centre
ಮಂಗಳೂರು ; ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 15 ರಂದು ಸೇಂಟ್ ಅಲೋಶಿಯಸ್ ಕಾಲೇಜು (ಡೀಮ್ಡ್ ಎಂದು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ) AIMIT ಕೇಂದ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ 79ನೇ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಬಹಳ ಹೆಮ್ಮೆ ಮತ್ತು ದೇಶಭಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಯಾಗಿ ಡಾ. ಫಾ. ಮನೋಜ್ ಡಿಸೋಜಾ ಎಸ್ಜೆ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
ಡಾ. ಫಾ. ಮನೋಜ್ ಡಿಸೋಜಾ ಎಸ್ಜೆ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಧ್ವಜವನ್ನು ಹಾರಿಸಿದರು, ನಂತರ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಗೀತೆ ಹಾಡಿದರು. ನಂತರ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಗಾಯಕರ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನಾ ಗೀತೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಯಿತು, ನಂತರ ದೇಶಭಕ್ತಿ ಗೀತೆ ಹಾಡಲಾಯಿತು.
ತಮ್ಮ ಭಾಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ, ಸಹಾಯಕ ಪ್ರಾಧ್ಯಾಪಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಬ್ರಿಲ್ ಬ್ರೆನ್ಹಿಲ್, “ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ಎಂದರೆ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನಾವು ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಅಲ್ಲ, ಆದರೆ ಸ್ಟೀರಿಯೊಟೈಪ್ಗಳಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಒಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಬದುಕುವುದರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ದಿನದ ಕಮಾಂಡಿಂಗ್ ಆಫೀಸರ್ ಶ್ರೀ ಸಮರ್ಥ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ, ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಶ್ರೀ ವಿನಯ್ ಕೃಷ್ಣ ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿದರು. AIMIT ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ಡಾ. ಫಾ. ಕಿರಣ್ ಕೋಥಾ ಎಸ್ಜೆ ಅವರ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಿಂದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಅಲಂಕರಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತು.
79th Independence Day Celebration at AIMIT Centre
Mangalore ; The 79th Independence Day was celebrated with great pride and patriotism at St Aloysius College (Deemed to be University) AIMIT Centre, on August 15. The Chief Guest for the occasion was Dr. Fr. Manoj Dsouza SJ.
The National Flag was unfurled by Dr. Fr. Manoj Dsouza SJ, followed by the singing of the National Anthem. The programme then commenced with a prayer song led by the college choir, followed by a patriotic song.
In his address, Mr. Brill Brenhil, Assistant Professor, remarked, “Independence is not about isolating ourselves, but about living together without stereotypes.”
The Commanding Officer for the day was Mr. Samarth Shetty, while the event was compered by Mr. Vinay Krishna. The programme was graced by the presence of Dr. Fr. Kiran Cotha SJ, Director, AIMIT Centre.
