ಮೌಂಟ್ ರೋಸರಿ ಚರ್ಚ್ನಲ್ಲಿ 50 ಮಕ್ಕಳು ದೃಢೀಕರಣದ ಸಂಸ್ಕಾರವನ್ನು ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿದರುನಂಬಿಕೆ, ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮ ಮತ್ತು ಕ್ರಿಶ್ಚಿಯನ್ ಬದ್ಧತೆಯ ಸಂತೋಷದಾಯಕ ಆಚರಣೆ 50 ಮಕ್ಕಳು ದೃಢೀಕರಣದ ಸಂಸ್ಕಾರವನ್ನು ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿದಾಗ, ಸಂತೆಕಟ್ಟೆ-ಕಲ್ಯಾಣಪುರದ ಮೌಂಟ್ ರೋಸರಿ ಚರ್ಚ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಆಳವಾದ ಸಂತೋಷ ಮತ್ತು ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆಯ ಮನೋಭಾವ ತುಂಬಿತು, ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ನಿಜವಾದ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಬದುಕಲು ಅವರ ನಂಬಿಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಬದ್ಧತೆಯನ್ನು ಬಲಪಡಿಸಿತು.
ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ 8.00 ಗಂಟೆಗೆ ನಡೆದ ಗಂಭೀರವಾದ ಥ್ಯಾಂಕ್ಸ್ಗಿವಿಂಗ್ ಬಲಿದಾನವನ್ನು ಉಡುಪಿಯ ಬಿಷಪ್ ರೆ. ರೆ. ಡಾ. ಲೆಸ್ಲೀ ಕ್ಲಿಫರ್ಡ್ ಡಿ’ಸೋಜಾ ಆಚರಿಸಿದರು, ವಿಕಾರ್ ರೆ. ಡಾ. ರೋಕ್ ಡಿ’ಸೋಜಾ ಮತ್ತು ಸಹಾಯಕ ಪ್ಯಾರಿಷ್ ಪಾದ್ರಿ ರೆ. ಫಾದರ್ ರೋಹನ್ ಮಸ್ಕರೇನ್ಹಸ್ ಅವರು ಇದನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿದರು.
ಪ್ಯಾರಿಷ್ ಗಾಯಕವೃಂದವು ತಮ್ಮ ಸುಮಧುರ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನಾಪೂರ್ವಕ ಗಾಯನದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಗೆ ಸೌಂದರ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಗಾಂಭೀರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಸಿತು.
ತಮ್ಮ ಧರ್ಮೋಪದೇಶದ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ, ಬಿಷಪ್ ಲೆಸ್ಲೀ ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮದ ಮಹತ್ವ, ಉಡುಗೊರೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಫಲಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಬಿಂಬಿಸಿದರು. ಪೆಂಟೆಕೋಸ್ಟ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಅಪೊಸ್ತಲರ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಳಿದು ಅವರನ್ನು ಬಲಪಡಿಸಿದ ಅದೇ ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮವು ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ಕ್ರಿಶ್ಚಿಯನ್ನರನ್ನು ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ ಮಾಡುವುದನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಅಧಿಕಾರ ನೀಡುವುದನ್ನು ಮುಂದುವರೆಸಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ನೆನಪಿಸಿದರು. ಹೊಸದಾಗಿ ದೃಢೀಕರಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವರು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನಲ್ಲಿ ಬೇರೂರಲು, ನಂಬಿಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಧೈರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಳೆಯಲು ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ಕ್ರಿಶ್ಚಿಯನ್ ಕರೆಗೆ ಯೋಗ್ಯವಾದ ಜೀವನವನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಲು ಅವರು ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಿಸಿದರು. ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮವು ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರನ್ನು ಹೇರಳವಾಗಿ ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿ ಬಲಪಡಿಸಲಿ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಿದರು.
ಪ್ಯಾಸ್ಟರಲ್ ಕೌನ್ಸಿಲ್ನ ಉಪಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಬ್ಯಾಪ್ಟಿಸ್ಟ್ ಡಯಾಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಗಾಡ್ಪೇರೆಂಟ್ಗಳಾಗಿ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಲತಾ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾ ಅವರ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸೇವೆಯಿಂದ ಸಂಸ್ಕಾರ ಆಚರಣೆಯು ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ಅರ್ಥಪೂರ್ಣವಾಯಿತು.
ಸಂಸ್ಕಾರದ ಅಭಿಷೇಕ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ವಾಗತದ ನಂತರ, ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಥ್ಯಾಂಕ್ಸ್ಗಿವಿಂಗ್ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿದರು, ದೃಢೀಕರಣದ ಅನುಗ್ರಹಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಸ್ಮರಣೀಯ ಮೈಲಿಗಲ್ಲುಗಾಗಿ ಸರ್ವಶಕ್ತ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಹೃತ್ಪೂರ್ವಕ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆಯನ್ನು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.

ಆಚರಣೆಯ ಕೊನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ, ಬಿಷಪ್ ಲೆಸ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ 50 ಹೊಸದಾಗಿ ದೃಢೀಕರಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವರನ್ನು ಅಭಿನಂದಿಸಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಪತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದರು, ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭವನ್ನು ಅವರ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯ ಪ್ರಯಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಅಮೂಲ್ಯವಾದ ಮೈಲಿಗಲ್ಲು ಎಂದು ಗುರುತಿಸಿದರು.

50 Children Receive the Sacrament of Confirmation at Mount Rosary Church kalyanpura
A Joyful Celebration of Faith, the Holy Spirit and Christian Commitment
A spirit of profound joy and gratitude filled Mount Rosary Church, Santhekatte–Kallianpur, as 50 children received the Sacrament of Confirmation, strengthening their faith and commitment to live as true witnesses of Christ.
The solemn Thanksgiving Mass at 8.00 a.m. was celebrated by Rt. Rev. Dr. Leslie Clifford D’Souza, Bishop of Udupi, concelebrated by Rev. Dr. Roque D’Souza, Vicar, and Rev. Fr. Rohan Mascarenhas, Assistant Parish Priest.
The parish choir added beauty and solemnity to the liturgy with their melodious and prayerful singing.
During his homily, Bishop Leslie reflected on the significance, gifts and fruits of the Holy Spirit. He reminded the candidates that the same Holy Spirit who descended upon and strengthened the Apostles at Pentecost continues to guide and empower every Christian. He encouraged the newly confirmed to remain rooted in Christ, grow in faith and courage, and live lives worthy of their Christian calling. He prayed that the Holy Spirit would abundantly bless and strengthen each one of them.
The sacramental celebration was made especially meaningful by the presence and service of Mr. Baptist Dias, Vice President of the Pastoral Council, and Ms. Latha Crasta, who served as Godparents for the candidates.
Following the anointing and reception of the Sacrament, the candidates led the Liturgy of Thanksgiving, expressing their heartfelt gratitude to Almighty God for the grace of Confirmation and for this memorable milestone in their lives.
They also conveyed their sincere thanks to Bishop Leslie, the priests, catechism teachers, parents, relatives and parishioners for their prayers, guidance, encouragement and support.
At the conclusion of the celebration, Bishop Leslie congratulated all 50 newly confirmed and presented them with certificates, marking the occasion as a cherished milestone in their journey of faith.
The grand Eucharistic celebration concluded with the solemn blessing, leaving the candidates, their families and the entire parish community filled with joy and renewed hope. As a gesture of celebration and fellowship, sweets were distributed to all present.
The day will remain a beautiful and grace-filled memory for the 50 young recipients, who now begin a renewed journey of faith, strengthened by the gifts of the Holy Spirit and called to be courageous witnesses of Christ in their families, Church and society.
May the Holy Spirit guide, strengthen and enlighten them always, and may they continue to grow in faith, hope and love.
