ಮಂಗಳೂರು ; ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯದ ಪ್ರಕಾರಗಳು ಜನರ ಮೇಲೆಬಹಳ ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿಯಾದ ಪ್ರಭಾವವನ್ನು ಬೀರುತ್ತವೆ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಜನರ ಹಕ್ಕುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಪ್ರಹಾರಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಸಾಹಿತಿಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಧ್ವನಿ ಎತ್ತಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಹಿರಿಯ ನ್ಯಾಯವಾದಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ದಕ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಸರಕಾರಿ ಅಭಿಯೋಜಕರು ಆದ ಎಂಪಿ ನೊರೊನ್ಹಾ ನುಡಿದರು.
ಅವರು ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಬಲ್ಮಠದ ಸಹೋದಯ ಸಭಾಗೃಹದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಅಖಿಲ ಭಾರತೀಯ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಐದನೇ ಚಾರೊಳಿ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಸಮ್ಮೇಳನದಲ್ಲಿ ತಡಪೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಟ್ಟ ಹಿತ್ತಾಳೆಯ ಸೇರಿಗೆ ಅಕ್ಕಿಯನ್ನು ತುಂಬಿಸಿ ಅದರ ತುಪ್ಪೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ದೀಪ ಬೆಳಗಿಸಿ ಇಟ್ಟು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿ ಬಳಿಕ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ಮುಂದುವರಿದು ಮಾತನಾಡಿ,
ಜನರ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನ ದ್ವಂದ್ವ ನಿವಾರಣೆ ಮಾಡಲು ಮೂರ್ಥ ರೂಪವಾಗಿ ಹೊಸ ಆಲೋಚನೆ ಬರುವುದು ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ. ಅವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಸ ಚಿಂತನೆಯ ಇರುವುದು ಎಂದರು.
ಇದೇ ವೇಳೆಗೆ ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಅರುಂಧತಿ ವಿ ರಾವ್ ಮತ್ತು ಗೋವಾದ ಅನ್ನಿ ದೆ ಕೊಲ್ವಾಲೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಚಾರೊಳಿ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಪುರಸ್ಕಾರ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಮಾಡಿದರು
ಐದನೆಯ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಸಮ್ಮೇಳನದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ರೇಮಂಡ್ ಡಿಕೂನಾ ತಾಕೊಡೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ, ಕೇರಳ, ಮಹಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರ, ಗೋವಾ, ದುಬೈನ, ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ, ಕಾರವಾರದ ವಿವಿಧ ಲಿಪಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮತ್ತು ತರಹದ ಬೋಲಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಂಕಣಿ ಬರೆಯುವ ಕವಿಗಳು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರಿರುವುದು ವಿಷೇಶವಾಗಿದೆ.ಇದು ಭಾರತದ ವಿವಿಧತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಏಕತೆಯ ಕೊಂಕಣಿ ಸಂಭ್ರಮ ಆಗಿದೆ ಎಂದರು.
ಮೊದಲಿಗೆ ಗೋವಾದ ಹಿರಿಯ ಕೊಂಕಣಿ ಕವಿ ಮತ್ತು ಭಾಷಾತಜ್ನಾರಾದ ಗೌರಿಶ್ ವರ್ಣೇಕರ್ ಕವಿ ಗೋಷ್ಠಿಯ ಚಾಲನೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಸಂಚಾಲನಾ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಉದ್ಘಾಟನಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಸೇಂಟ್ ಆನ್ಸ್ ಫ್ರೈರಿಯ ಸುಪೀರಿಯರ್ ಫಾ. ಜೆರಾಲ್ಡ್ ಲೋಬೊ, ಕ್ಯಾಪುಚಿನ್ ಅವರ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನಾ ಅವಧಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಯಿತು.
ವೇದಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪೋರ್ವಿಂಡ್ಸ್ ಮಾಸ್ ಕಮ್ಯುನಿಕೇಶನ್ಸ್ ಎಂಡ್ ಸರ್ವಿಸಸ್ ಇದರ ಮಾಲೀಕರು ಎಲಿಯಾಸ್ ಫರ್ನಾಂಡೀಸ್ ಇದ್ದರು.
ಸಮಾರೋಪ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರತ ಪತ್ರಕರ್ತರ ಸಂಘದ ದಕ ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿ ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸ ನಾಯಕ್ ಇಂದಾಜೆ ಕವಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಸನ್ಮಾನ ಪತ್ರ ಮತ್ತು ಪದಕಗಳನ್ನು ವಿತರಣೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
ಯೊಗಿತಾ ವರ್ಣೇಕರ್ ಸಮಾರೋಪ ಭಾಷಣ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಹಿತಿಗಳ ನಡುವೆ ಮುಂದೆ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಉಳಿಸುವ ಮತ್ತು ಬೆಳೆಸುವ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ವಿಚಾರ ವಿನಿಮಯದ ಸಂತ ಅಲೋಶಿಯಸ್ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಮತ್ತು ಗೋವಾದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದರು.
ಹಿರಿಯ ಸಾಹಿತಿ ರೇಮಂಡ್ ಡಿಕುನ್ಹಾ ತಾಕೊಡೆ ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿ, ಪತ್ರಕರ್ತೆ ರಿಯಾನಾ ಡಿಕುನ್ಹಾ ವಂದಿಸಿದರು.ಫಾದರ್ ಮುಲ್ಲರ್ ನರ್ಸಿಂಗ್ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಹಿರಿಯ ಪ್ರಾದ್ಯಾಪಕಿ ನತಾಲಿಯಾ ಡಿಕುನ್ಹಾ ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿದರು. ಜೋನ್ ತಾವ್ರೊ, ಸ್ಟೇನಿ ತಾವ್ರೊ, ಲೊನಾ ವಾಸ್, ವಿರೊಯ್ ಡೆಸಾ,ಹೆರಾಲ್ಡ್ ಅಲ್ಬುಕರ್ಕ್ ಸಹಕರಿಸಿದರು.
Writers Must Be the First to Respond When People’s Rights Are Attacked: Senior Advocate M.P. Noronha
Senior Advocate and Dakshina Kannada District Government Pleader M.P. Noronha said that literature has a profound influence on society and therefore writers must raise their voices through their literary works whenever people’s rights are under attack.
He was speaking after inaugurating the 5th All India National Charoli Literary Conference held at Sahodaya Hall, Balmatta, Mangaluru. The conference was inaugurated by performing the traditional ceremony of lighting a lamp placed over a brass vessel filled with rice.
The programme began with a prayer session conducted by Fr. Jerald Lobo, Capuchin, Superior of St. Ann’s Friary.
Addressing the gathering, Noronha said that literature gives shape to new ideas and plays a vital role in resolving the conflicts and dilemmas of the human mind. He added that true literature reflects fresh thinking and inspires positive social change.
On the occasion, the National Charoli Literary Award was presented to Arundhati V. Rao of Mangaluru and Annie de Colvale of Goa.
Presiding over the conference, Raymond D’Cunha Taccode, President of the 5th National Charoli Conference, said that the participation of Konkani poets from Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Goa, Dubai, Bengaluru, and Karwar, writing in different scripts and dialects, made the gathering truly special. “This conference is a celebration of Konkani’s unity in India’s diversity,” he remarked.
The poetry session was inaugurated and moderated by Gaurish Varnekar, a senior Konkani poet and linguist from Goa.
Elias Fernandes, Director of Fourwinds Winds Mass Communications & Services, was present on the dais.
During the valedictory session, Srinivas Nayak Indaje, Dakshina Kannada representative of the Karnataka Working Journalists’ Association, attended as the chief guest and presented mementoes and medals to the participating poets.
Yogita Varnekar delivered the valedictory address.
A student–writer interaction on preserving and promoting literature in the future was also held, with participation from students of St. Aloysius College, Mangaluru, and Goa.
Senior litterateur Raymond D’Cunha Taccode welcomed the gathering, journalist Riana D’Cunha proposed the vote of thanks, and Prof. Nathalia D’Cunha, senior faculty member at Father Muller Nursing College, compered the programme.
The event was co-ordinated by Joan Tauro, Stany Tauro, Lona Vaz, Viroy D’Sa, and Herald Albuquerque.
