Statement from the All India Catholic Federation on the bomb blast in Delhi
2025 ರ ನವೆಂಬರ್ 12 ರಂದು ದೆಹಲಿಯ ಕೆಂಪು ಕೋಟೆ ಬಳಿ ನಡೆದ ಕಾರು ಸ್ಫೋಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದ ಹೃದಯ ವಿದ್ರಾವಕ ಜೀವಹಾನಿಯ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ದುಃಖದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಖಿಲ ಭಾರತ ಕ್ಯಾಥೋಲಿಕ್ ಒಕ್ಕೂಟವು ನಮ್ಮ ದೇಶದ ಜನರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸೇರುತ್ತದೆ.
13 ಜನರ ಸಾವು ಮತ್ತು 20 ಇತರರಿಗೆ ಗಾಯಗಳಾಗಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಸರ್ಕಾರ ದೃಢಪಡಿಸಿದೆ – ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಅನೇಕರು ಇನ್ನೂ ಗಂಭೀರವಾಗಿ ಗಾಯಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಬಲಿಪಶುಗಳನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಲು ಪೊಲೀಸರು ವಿರೂಪಗೊಂಡ ದೇಹಗಳಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದ ಡಿಎನ್ಎಯ ವಿಧಿವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಪ್ರಯೋಗಾಲಯ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗಳ ಫಲಿತಾಂಶಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಕಾಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಹಲವಾರು ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭಯೋತ್ಪಾದಕ ಮಾಡ್ಯೂಲ್ ಅನ್ನು ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಪತ್ತೆಹಚ್ಚಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಭಾರತೀಯ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳು ವರದಿ ಮಾಡಿವೆ. ಕಾರು ಸ್ಫೋಟದ ಕಾರಣದ ಬಗ್ಗೆಯೂ ವಿಧಿವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ತನಿಖೆ ಮುಂದುವರೆದಿದೆ, ಇದು ವಾಹನ ಚಾಲನೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಸಹ ಕೊಂದಿತು.
ಈ ವರ್ಷದ ಮೇ ತಿಂಗಳಲ್ಲಿ, ಕಾಶ್ಮೀರ ಕಣಿವೆಯ ಪಹಲ್ಗಾಂವ್ನ ಹುಲ್ಲುಗಾವಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಭಯೋತ್ಪಾದಕ ದಾಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂದೋರ್ ನಗರದ ಕ್ರಿಶ್ಚಿಯನ್ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ 25 ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಗರು ಸಾವನ್ನಪ್ಪಿದರು.
106 ವರ್ಷ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನ ಕ್ಯಾಥೋಲಿಕ್ ಒಕ್ಕೂಟವು ದೇಶದ ಯಾವುದೇ ಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಯೋತ್ಪಾದಕ ಹಿಂಸಾಚಾರದ ಉದ್ದೇಶಪೂರ್ವಕ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಸ್ಸಂದಿಗ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಖಂಡಿಸಿದೆ. ಯಾವುದೇ ರಾಜಕೀಯ, ಸೈದ್ಧಾಂತಿಕ, ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಅಥವಾ ಪಂಥೀಯ ಕಾರಣಗಳು ಇಂತಹ ರಕ್ತಪಾತವನ್ನು ಸಮರ್ಥಿಸಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು AICU ಹೇಳುತ್ತದೆ.
ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸಚಿವ ಸಂಪುಟವು ಈ ಘಟನೆಯನ್ನು “ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರವಿರೋಧಿ ಶಕ್ತಿಗಳಿಂದ” ನಡೆದ “ಘೋರ ಭಯೋತ್ಪಾದಕ ಕೃತ್ಯ” ಎಂದು ಖಂಡಿಸಿದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರರಾಗಿರುವವರನ್ನು ತನಿಖೆ ಮಾಡುವಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾನೂನುಬಾಹಿರ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳ (ತಡೆಗಟ್ಟುವಿಕೆ) ಕಾಯ್ದೆ (UAPA) ಅನ್ನು ಅನ್ವಯಿಸಿದೆ.
ತಕ್ಷಣದ ಆಘಾತ, ದುಃಖ ಮತ್ತು ಖಂಡನೆಗಳ ಹೊರತಾಗಿ, ಭಯೋತ್ಪಾದನೆಯ ನಿಜವಾದ ಸಾವು ನೋವುಗಳು ಗಾಯಾಳುಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸತ್ತವರ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ಖಾಸಗಿ ನೋವುಗಳ ಸರಣಿಯಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ಭೀತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಛಿದ್ರಗೊಂಡ ಮನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪುನರ್ನಿರ್ಮಿಸುವ ನಿಧಾನಗತಿಯ ಕಾರ್ಯದ ಹೊರತಾಗಿ, ಅನುಮಾನಗಳು ನುಸುಳಿದಾಗ ಸಮುದಾಯಗಳ ಗಂಭೀರ ಬಿರುಕು, ನೆರೆಹೊರೆಯವರು ಅಪರಿಚಿತರ ಕಣ್ಣು, ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಜನಾಂಗೀಯ ಅಲ್ಪಸಂಖ್ಯಾತರು ಪ್ರತಿದಾಳಿಯ ಭಯದಲ್ಲಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ.
ಪ್ರಕರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರವ್ಯಾಪಿ ತನಿಖೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿದ ಚುರುಕುತನಕ್ಕಾಗಿ AICU ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಮತ್ತು ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಯನ್ನು ಶ್ಲಾಘಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಂತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಮರಸ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಅಗತ್ಯವಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮುನ್ನೆಚ್ಚರಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಅಖಿಲ ಭಾರತ ಕ್ಯಾಥೋಲಿಕ್ ಒಕ್ಕೂಟವು ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಮತ್ತು ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರಗಳನ್ನು ಒತ್ತಾಯಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.
ಕ್ಯಾಥೋಲಿಕ್ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯರು ಮತ್ತು ಕೋಮು ಸಾಮರಸ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಶಾಂತಿಯನ್ನು ಬಲಪಡಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ವೇಗವರ್ಧಕವಾಗಿ ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಅಂತಹ ಹಿಂಸಾತ್ಮಕ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳ ಬಲಿಪಶುಗಳನ್ನು ತಲುಪಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಭಯೋತ್ಪಾದನೆ, ಕೋಮು ದ್ವೇಷ ಮತ್ತು ಜನಾಂಗೀಯ ಹಿಂಸಾಚಾರವನ್ನು ಖಂಡಿಸುವ ಮತ್ತು ಶಾಂತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಮರಸ್ಯವನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸುವ ಭಾರತದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜಾತ್ಯತೀತ ಶಕ್ತಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ AICU ನಿಲ್ಲುತ್ತದೆ.

Statement from the All India Catholic Federation on the bomb blast in Delhi
The All India Catholic Union joins the people of our country in the national grief at the heart-rending loss of lives in the car explosion near the Red Fort in Delhi on 12th November 2025.
The government has confirmed the death of 13 persons, and injuries to 20 others – many of swhom remain critically wounded. The police await the results of the forensic laboratory tests on the DNA taken from mutilated bodies to identify the victims. Indian media has reported that police have traced a terror module based in several states. Forensic investigations also continue on the cause of the car explosion which also killed the person driving the vehicle.
In May this year, 25 tourist, all men including a Christian from Indore city, were killed in a terrorist attack in a meadow in Pahalgaon in Kashmir valley.
The 106 year old Catholic Union has unequivocally condemend wanton acts of terrorist violence in any part of the country. The AICU holds that no political, ideological, religious or sectarian reason can justify such bloodshed.
The Union Cabinet has condemned the incident as a “heinous terrorist act” by “anti-national forces,” and has invoked the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) in in investigating those who could be responsible.
Beyond the immediate shock, grief and condemnation, terrorism’s true toll is in a cascade of private agonies, of the injured and the families of the dead. Beyond panic, and the slow task of rebuilding shattered homes, is the grave fracture of communities as suspicion seeps in, neighbours eye strangers, religious and ethinic minorities fear a backlash.
The AICU commends the government and the police personnel for the alacrity with which investigations have been launched nation-wide in the case. The All India Catholic Union urges the central and state governments to take all necessary precautions maintaining peace and harmony in the country.
The Catholic laity and has always reached out to victims of such violent acts while being a catalyst in strengthening communal harmony and peace.
The AICU stands with all secular elements in India who condemn terrorism, communal hate and sectarian violence, and in the pursuit of peace and harmony.
