ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಸೇಂಟ್ ಅಲೋಶಿಯಸ್ ಹಿರಿಯ ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ಶಾಲೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅದರ ಹಳೆಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಸಂಘವು (SACAA ನ ಒಂದು ಭಾಗ), ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ನವೀನ ಮತ್ತು ಅಂತರ್ಗತ ರಸಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವಾದ “ಅಲೋಯ್ ಕ್ವಿಜ್-ವಿಜ್ 2026” ಅನ್ನು ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಂಡಿದೆ. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಜನವರಿ 18, 2026 ರ ಭಾನುವಾರದಂದು ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ 9:00 ರಿಂದ ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನ 1:00 ರವರೆಗೆ ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಕೊಡಿಯಾಲ್ಬೈಲ್ನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಶಾಲಾ ಆವರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯಲಿದ್ದು, ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ವಿಧಾನಸಭೆಯ ಗೌರವಾನ್ವಿತ ಸಭಾಪತಿಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಯು.ಟಿ. ಖಾದರ್ ಅವರು ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಆಗಮಿಸಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಯು ಅದರ ಅಂತರ್ಗತ ಗುಣಲಕ್ಷಣದಿಂದಾಗಿ ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ತಂಡವು ಒಬ್ಬ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಹೀನ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಿ, ಒಬ್ಬ ಶ್ರವಣ ಮತ್ತು ವಾಕ್ ದೋಷವುಳ್ಳ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ, ಒಬ್ಬ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಶಾಲೆಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಮತ್ತು ಇಬ್ಬರು ಖಾಸಗಿ ಶಾಲೆಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ವಿಶೇಷ ಚೇತನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಸಮಾಜಕ್ಕೆ ತೋರಿಸುವುದು ಮತ್ತು ಭವಿಷ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂತಹ ಮಕ್ಕಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಬೆರೆಯುವಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವ ಹಿಂಜರಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಹೋಗಲಾಡಿಸಲು ಯುವ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂವೇದನಾಶೀಲರನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡುವುದು ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಉದ್ದೇಶವಾಗಿದೆ. ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಯು ಎರಡು ಸೆಮಿಫೈನಲ್ ಮತ್ತು ಆರು ತಂಡಗಳ ಫೈನಲ್ ಹಂತಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದು, ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಬ್ರೈಲ್ ಆಧಾರಿತ ಪ್ರಶ್ನಾವಳಿ, “ಚಾರ್ಡ್ಸ್ – ಆಕ್ಷನ್ ಸ್ಪೀಕ್ ಲೌಡರ್” ಮತ್ತು “ಹಾರ್ಮನಿ ಇನ್ ಥಾಟ್” ನಂತಹ ಐದು ವೈವಿಧ್ಯಮಯ ಸುತ್ತುಗಳು ಇರಲಿವೆ. ಮುಖ್ಯೋಪಾಧ್ಯಾಯಿನಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಜೊಸಿತಾ ಸಿಕ್ವೇರಾ, ಕರೆಸ್ಪಾಂಡೆಂಟ್ ಫಾ. ಜಾನ್ಸನ್ ಪಿಂಟೋ ಮತ್ತು ಹಳೆಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಸಂಘದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಡಾ. ಕ್ರಿಸ್ಟೋಫರ್ ಡಿಸೋಜಾ ಅವರ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ, ಶ್ರೀ ನೀಲ್ ರೊಡ್ರಿಗಸ್ ಅವರು ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಸಂಯೋಜಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಅಡೆತಡೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮೆಟ್ಟಿ ನಿಂತು “ಅಲೋಯ್ ಕ್ವಿಜ್-ವಿಜ್ 2026” ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಗೆಲ್ಲಲು ಉತ್ತೇಜಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
St. Aloysius to Host Inclusive “Aloy Quiz-Whiz 2026”
St. Aloysius Higher Primary School and its Alumni Association, which is a constituent of the St. Aloysius College Alumni Association (SACAA), Mangalore, are proud to present “Aloy Quiz-Whiz 2026,” an innovative and inclusive quizzing event for students. Scheduled for Sunday, 18th January 2026, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the school premises in Kodialbail, Mangalore.
The event will be graced by Sri. U.T. Khader, the Honorable Speaker of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly, as the Chief Guest. This unique competition is distinguished by its focus on inclusivity, as every ten-member team is comprised of one visually impaired participant, one student with speech and hearing impairment, one student from a government school, and two students from a private school.
The primary objectives are to showcase the capabilities of specially-abled children, proving they are on par with their peers, and to sensitize young students to natural barriers to foster future comfort in interacting with differently-abled individuals. The competition format involves two semi-final rounds followed by a grand final for six selected teams, featuring five diverse rounds including a Braille-based questionnaire, “Charades – Actions Speak Louder,” and a final “Harmony in Thought” round.
Under the leadership of Headmistress Mrs. Jositta Sequeira, Correspondent Fr. Johnson Pinto, and Alumni Association President Dr. Christopher Dsouza, the event is coordinated by Mr. Neil Rodrigues to encourage children to overcome barriers and work cohesively toward winning the “Aloy Quiz-Whiz 2026” title.
