ಕಲ್ಯಾಣಪುರ; ನೂತನವಾಗಿ ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾದ ಪಾಲನಮಂಡಳಿ ಸದಸ್ಯರಿಗಾಗಿ ಮೌಂಟ್ ರೋಸರಿ ಜನವರಿ 15, 2026 ರಂದು ಮಿನಿ ಹಾಲ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಆಧ್ಯಾತ್ಮಿಕವಾಗಿ ಉನ್ನತಿಗೇರಿಸುವ ಮತ್ತು ಚಿಂತನಶೀಲ ವಿಚಾರ ಸಂಕಿರಣದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತು. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಉಡುಪಿ ಡಯಾಸಿಸ್ನ ಬಿಷಪ್ ರೆವರೆಂಡ್ ಡಾ. ಜೆರಾಲ್ಡ್ ಐಸಾಕ್ ಲೋಬೊ ಅವರ ಪಾಸ್ಟೋರಲ್ ಉಪಕ್ರಮದ ಭಾಗವಾಗಿತ್ತು, ಅವರು ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ನಾಯಕತ್ವವನ್ನು ಮೌಲ್ಯಮಾಪನ ಮಾಡಲು, ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಿಸಲು ಮತ್ತು ಸಬಲೀಕರಣಗೊಳಿಸಲು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಧರ್ಮಕೇದ್ರ ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕವಾಗಿ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಈ ಅರ್ಥಪೂರ್ಣ ಡಯೋಸಿಸನ್ ಮಿಷನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ 22 ನೇ ಪ್ಯಾರಿಷ್ ಎಂಬ ಗೌರವವನ್ನು ಮೌಂಟ್ ರೋಸರಿ ಚರ್ಚ್ ಹೊಂದಿತ್ತು. ಎರಡು ಗಂಟೆಗಳ ಕಾಲ ನಡೆದ ಈ ವಿಚಾರ ಸಂಕಿರಣವು ಸಂಜೆ 6.15 ರವರೆಗೆ ಎರಡು ಒಳನೋಟವುಳ್ಳ ಅವಧಿಗಳಾಗಿ ವಿಂಗಡಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತು “ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ” – ಡಿಲೆಕ್ಸಿ ಟೆ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಚಿಂತನೆ
ಮೊದಲ ಅಧಿವೇಶನವನ್ನು ಬೈಬಲ್ ಮತ್ತು ನಂಬಿಕೆ ರಚನೆಗಾಗಿ ಡಯೋಸಿಸನ್ ಆಯೋಗದ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ರೆವರೆಂಡ್ ಫಾದರ್ ಜಿತೇಶ್ ಕ್ಯಾಸ್ಟೆಲಿನೊ ಅವರು ಅನಿಮೇಟೆಡ್ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
“ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ”
ಪೋಪ್ ಲಿಯೋ XIV ಅವರ ಮೊದಲ ಅಪೋಸ್ಟೋಲಿಕ್ ಉಪದೇಶ ಡಿಲೆಕ್ಸಿ ಟೆ ಯಿಂದ ಪ್ರೇರಿತರಾಗಿ ಅವರು “ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ” ಎಂಬ ವಿಷಯದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಆಳವಾದ ಪ್ರತಿಬಿಂಬವನ್ನು ಮಂಡಿಸಿದರು.
ಈ ಪ್ರಬಲ ಧ್ಯಾನವು ಬಡವರು ಮತ್ತು ಅಂಚಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವವರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ಮಿತಿಯಿಲ್ಲದ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ತೋರಿಸಿತು, ನಂಬಿಗಸ್ತರು ಸಹಾನುಭೂತಿ, ಕರುಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸೇವೆಯ ಜೀವಂತ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಗಳಾಗಲು ಕರೆ ನೀಡಿತು. ಫ್ರಾಂ ಜಿತೇಶ್ ಅವರು ಉಪದೇಶದ ಸಂದೇಶವನ್ನು ಚರ್ಚ್ನ ಧ್ಯೇಯದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸುಂದರವಾಗಿ ಸಂಪರ್ಕಿಸಿದರು, ಕೌನ್ಸಿಲ್ ಸದಸ್ಯರು ದಾನ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಕಾಳಜಿಯ ಕಾಂಕ್ರೀಟ್ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ದೇವರ ಪ್ರೀತಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಕ್ರಿಯಿಸುವಂತೆ ಒತ್ತಾಯಿಸಿದರು.
ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯರ ಪಾತ್ರ ಮತ್ತು ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಗಳು
ಎರಡನೇ ಮತ್ತು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಪ್ರಭಾವಶಾಲಿ ಅಧಿವೇಶನವನ್ನು ಬಿಷಪ್ ಜೆರಾಲ್ಡ್ ಲೋಬೊ ಅವರು ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕವಾಗಿ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಿದರು, ಅವರು ರೋಮಾಂಚಕ ಚರ್ಚ್ ಅನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯರ ವೃತ್ತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಗಳನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು. ಬಡವರ ಆರೈಕೆ, ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ನ್ಯಾಯ, ಸುವಾರ್ತಾ ಪ್ರಚಾರ, ಯುವ ರಚನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪರಿಸರ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯಂತಹ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಗಳಿಗೆ ಒತ್ತು ನೀಡುವ 20 ಪಾದ್ರಿ ಆಯೋಗಗಳ ಮಹತ್ವ ಮತ್ತು ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಣೆಯನ್ನು ಅವರು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು.
ಅವರ ಸ್ಪೂರ್ತಿದಾಯಕ ಮಾತುಗಳು ಸದಸ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಬದ್ಧತೆ ಮತ್ತು ನಮ್ರತೆಯಿಂದ ಚರ್ಚ್ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮಾಜಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವ ನವೀಕೃತ ಉತ್ಸಾಹವನ್ನು ಹುಟ್ಟುಹಾಕಿದವು.
ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರವು ಸಂಜೆ 4.00 ಗಂಟೆಗೆ ಪವಿತ್ರ ಗ್ರಂಥವನ್ನು ಓದುವುದರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನಾಪೂರ್ವಕವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಯಿತು, ಸಭೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ದೇವರ ಅನುಗ್ರಹವನ್ನು ಕೋರಿತು. ಮಿಷನ್ 2030 ಲೋಗೋವನ್ನು ವಿಕಾರ್ ರೆವರೆಂಡ್ ಡಾ. ರೋಕ್ ಡಿ’ಸೋಜಾ ಅವರು ಸಹಾಯಕ ಪ್ಯಾರಿಷ್ ಪಾದ್ರಿ ರೆವರೆಂಡ್ ಫಾದರ್ ರೋಹನ್ ಮಸ್ಕರೆನ್ಹಸ್, ಪ್ಯಾರಿಷ್ ನಾಯಕರ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ಅನಾವರಣಗೊಳಿಸಿದರು, ಇದು ಮಿಷನ್-ಆಧಾರಿತ ಪ್ಯಾರಿಷ್ಗೆ ಸಾಮೂಹಿಕ ಬದ್ಧತೆಯನ್ನು ಸಂಕೇತಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.
ಈ ವಿಚಾರ ಸಂಕಿರಣವು ಆಧ್ಯಾತ್ಮಿಕ ಮೈಲಿಗಲ್ಲು ಎಂದು ಸಾಬೀತಾಯಿತು, ಕೌನ್ಸಿಲ್ ಸದಸ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಬಲಪಡಿಸುತ್ತದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯನ್ನು ಜಾಗೃತಗೊಳಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಬಿಷಪ್ ಅವರ ಪಾದ್ರಿಯ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಮತ್ತು ತಂದೆಯ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನವು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಆಳವಾಗಿ ಅರ್ಥಪೂರ್ಣ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ಮರಣೀಯವಾಗಿಸಿತು.
ಧರ್ಮಕೇಂದ್ರದ ಮಂಡಳಿಯು ಬಡವರಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ನಿರ್ಗತಿಕರಿಗೆ ನಂಬಿಕೆ, ಏಕತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಹಾನುಭೂತಿಯ ಸೇವೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮುಂದುವರಿಯುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ ಈ ಉಪಕ್ರಮವು ಹೇರಳವಾದ ಫಲಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಲಿ ಎಂದು ಹಾರೈಸಿದರು.
Seminar on “Mission 2030” for Newly Elected Parish Pastoral Council Held at Mount Rosary Church, Santhekatte–Kallianpur.
Mount Rosary was blessed with a spiritually uplifting and thought-provoking seminar on “Mission 2030” for the newly elected Parish Pastoral Council members, held on 15th January 2026, in the Mini Hall. This programme formed part of the pastoral initiative of the Bishop of Udupi Diocese, Rt Rev Dr Gerald Issac Lobo, who has been personally visiting all parishes to appraise, encourage, and empower lay leadership. Mount Rosary Church had the honour of being the 22nd parish in this meaningful diocesan mission.
The two-hour seminar continued till 6.15 pm was divided into two insightful sessions:
“I Have Loved You” – Reflection on Dilexi Te
The first session was animated by Rev Fr Jithesh Castelino, Director, Diocesan Commission for Bible and Faith Formation. He presented a profound reflection on “I Have Loved You”, inspired by Pope Leo XIV’s first Apostolic Exhortation Dilexi Te.
This powerful meditation highlighted Christ’s boundless love for the poor and marginalized, calling the faithful to become living witnesses of compassion, mercy, and service. Fr Jithesh beautifully connected the message of the exhortation with the mission of the Church, urging the council members to respond to God’s love through concrete acts of charity and social concern.
Role and Responsibilities of the Laity
The second and most impactful session was personally handled by Bishop Gerald Lobo, who elaborated on the vocation and responsibilities of the laity in building a vibrant Church. He explained the importance and functioning of the 20 Pastoral Commissions, emphasizing areas such as care for the poor, social justice, evangelization, youth formation, and ecological responsibility.
His inspiring words ignited a renewed zeal among the members to serve the Church and society with commitment and humility.
The workshop commenced prayerfully at 4.00 pm with the reading of Holy Scripture, invoking God’s grace upon the gathering. The Mission 2030 logo was solemnly unveiled by Vicar Rev Dr Roque D’Souza in the presence of assistant parish priest Rev Fr Rohan Muscarenhas, parish leaders, symbolizing a collective commitment to a mission-oriented parish.
This seminar proved to be a spiritual milestone, strengthening faith and awakening social responsibility among the council members. The Bishop’s pastoral presence and fatherly guidance made the programme deeply meaningful and memorable.
May this initiative bear abundant fruits as the Parish Pastoral Council journeys forward with faith, unity, and compassionate service to the poor and needy.
