ಕುಂದಾಪುರ ವಲಯದ ಪಾಲನಾ ಮಂಡಳಿಯ ಸಭೆ ಹಾಗೂ ತರಬೇತಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ

2026ರ ಜುಲೈ 19ರಂದು ತಲ್ಲೂರಿನ ಸಂತ ಫ್ರಾನ್ಸಿಸ್ ಅಸ್ಸಿಸಿ ಚರ್ಚಿನ ಸಭಾಂಗಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಂದಾಪುರ ವಲಯದ ಪಾಲನಾ ಮಂಡಳಿಯ ಸಭೆ ಹಾಗೂ ತರಬೇತಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ನಡೆಯಿತು.

ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಕುಂದಾಪುರ ವಲಯದ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಧರ್ಮಗುರುಗಳಾದ ಅ| ವಂ| ಫಾ. ಪೌಲ್ ರೇಗೋ ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿದರು. ಈ ತರಬೇತಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯಾಗಿ ಉಡುಪಿ ಧರ್ಮಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯದ ಚಾನ್ಸಲರ್ ಅತೀ ವಂದನೀಯ ಫಾ. ಸ್ಟೀಫನ್ ಡಿಸೋಜಾ ಅವರು ಆಗಮಿಸಿ “ಮಹೋನ್ನತ ಮಾನವೀಯತೆ” (“Magnifica Humanitas”) ವಿಷಯದ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ ನೀಡಿದರು.

ತಮ್ಮ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಪೋಪ್ ಲಿಯೋ XIV ಅವರ ಮೊದಲ ಎನ್‌ಸೈಕ್ಲಿಕಲ್, “ಮಹೋನ್ನತ ಮಾನವೀಯತೆ” “Magnifica Humanitas” ಕುರಿತು ವಿವರಿಸುತ್ತಾ, ಕೃತಕ ಬುದ್ಧಿಮತ್ತೆಯ (Artificial Intelligence – AI) ಯುಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾನವ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯ ಘನತೆಯನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡುವ ಅಗತ್ಯತೆ ಕುರಿತು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. AIಯ ಪ್ರಯೋಜನಗಳು, ಸವಾಲುಗಳು, ಮಾನವ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳ ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಹಾಗೂ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯಿಂದ ಮತ್ತು ನೈತಿಕತೆಯಿಂದ ಬಳಸುವ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ಅವರು ಮನದಟ್ಟುಗೊಳಿಸಿದರು.

ಈ ತರಬೇತಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಂದಾಪುರ ವಲಯದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಧರ್ಮಗುರುಗಳು, ಧರ್ಮಭಗಿನಿಯರು, ಪ್ರತಿ ಚರ್ಚಿನ ಪಾಲನಾ ಮಂಡಳಿಯ ಉಪಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು, ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಗಳು, 20 ಆಯೋಗಗಳ ಸಂಯೋಜಕರು, ತಲ್ಲೂರು ಚರ್ಚಿನ ಕ್ರೈಸ್ತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಹಾಗೂ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಸಂವಹನ ಆಯೋಗದ ಸದಸ್ಯರು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಒಟ್ಟು 58 ಮಂದಿ ಸದಸ್ಯರು ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಂಡು ಕೃತಕ ಬುದ್ಧಿಮತ್ತೆಯು ಮಾನವ ಘನತೆಯನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ಕಾಪಾಡಲು ಸಹಕಾರಿಯಾಗುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡರು. ಜೊತೆಗೆ, ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಕೃತಕ ಬುದ್ಧಿಮತ್ತೆ ಏನನ್ನೂ ಸಾಧಿಸಲಾರದು ಹಾಗೂ ಕೃತಕ ಬುದ್ಧಿಮತ್ತೆಗಿಂತ ಮನುಷ್ಯನೇ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ಎಂಬ ಸತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಅರಿತುಕೊಂಡರು.

ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಕೊನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಲಯದ ಪಾಲನಾ ಮಂಡಳಿಯ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಜೆನಿಫ್ ರೀಮಾ ವಂದಿಸಿದರು.

Kundapura Deanery Pastoral Council Meeting and Training Programme

The Kundapura Deanery Pastoral Council Meeting and Training Programme was held on 19 July 2026 at 3:30 p.m. in the hall of St. Francis Assisi Church, Tallur.

The programme began with a warm welcome by the Vicar Forane of the Kundapura Deanery, Very Rev. Fr. Paul Rego. The resource person, Very Rev. Fr. Stephen D’Souza, Chancellor of the Diocese of Udupi, delivered an informative session on the topic “Magnifica Humanitas.”

During his presentation, Fr. Stephen D’Souza explained the first encyclical of Pope Leo XIV, “Magnifica Humanitas “which focuses on safeguarding the dignity of the human person in the age of Artificial Intelligence (AI). He highlighted the benefits and challenges of AI and emphasized the importance of protecting human values and using technology responsibly and ethically.

The programme was attended by all the priests and religious sisters of the Kundapura Deanery, the vice presidents and secretaries and  coordinators of twenty commission of the Pastoral Councils of every parish,  Catechism teachers, and members of the Social Communication Commission of St. Francis Assisi Church, Tallur. A total of 58 participants attended the programme. They learned how Artificial Intelligence can help safeguard human dignity, while recognizing that AI cannot achieve anything without human guidance. The session also emphasized that the human person is superior to Artificial Intelligence and that technology must always remain at the service of humanity.
