ಮಂಗಳೂರು: ಪಿ.ಎ. ಪಾಲಿಟೆಕ್ನಿಕ್‌ನ 2026ನೇ ಸಾಲಿನ ಪದವಿ ಪ್ರದಾನ ಸಮಾರಂಭವು ಶುಕ್ರವಾರ ಪೇಸ್ ಸಭಾಂಗಣದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯಿತು. ಪದವಿ ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು, ಪೋಷಕರು, ಬೋಧಕ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಗಣ್ಯರು ಸಮಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು.

ಪಿಎಇಟಿ ಹಣಕಾಸು ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ಅಹ್ಮದ್ ಕುಟ್ಟಿ ಅವರು ಸಮಾರಂಭವನ್ನು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿದರು. ಕನಚೂರು ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಶೋಧನಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಆಡಳಿತಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಡಾ. ರೋಹನ್ ಎಸ್. ಮೊನಿಸ್ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಯಾಗಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಅಹ್ಮದ್ ಕುಟ್ಟಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆ ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು.

ಪಿಎಇಟಿ ಕ್ಯಾಂಪಸ್‌ನ ಸಹಾಯಕ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಾಪಕ ಶರ್ಫುದ್ದೀನ್ ಪಿ.ಕೆ., ಖರೀದಿ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಾಪಕ ಹರಿಸ್ ಟಿ.ಡಿ., ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ವ್ಯವಹಾರಗಳ ಡೀನ್ ಡಾ. ಸಯ್ಯದ್ ಅಮೀನ್ ಅಹ್ಮದ್, ಪಿ.ಎ. ಪಾಲಿಟೆಕ್ನಿಕ್ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲ ಪ್ರೊ. ಇಸ್ಮಾಯಿಲ್ ಖಾನ್, ಉಪಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲ ಪ್ರೊ. ಅಜಿತ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ವಾಸು, ಸಂಯೋಜಕ ಅರ್ಫಾಜ್ ಹಾಗೂ ವಿವಿಧ ವಿಭಾಗಗಳ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.

ಪದವೀಧರರನ್ನು ಉದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಡಾ. ರೋಹನ್ ಎಸ್. ಮೊನಿಸ್, ಪದವೀಧರರನ್ನು “ನಾಳೆಯ ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕವಾಗಿ ಸಜ್ಜುಗೊಂಡ ದಿಗ್ಗಜರು” ಎಂದು ಬಣ್ಣಿಸಿದರು. ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ಜ್ಞಾನ ಮಾತ್ರ ವೃತ್ತಿಜೀವನದ ಯಶಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಸಾಕಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ನಿರಂತರ ಕಲಿಕೆ, ಸ್ಥೈರ್ಯ, ಶಿಸ್ತು, ಭಾವನಾತ್ಮಕ ಬುದ್ಧಿಮತ್ತೆ, ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಅರಿವು, ಎಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ಒಳಗೊಳ್ಳುವ ಮನೋಭಾವ, ಸ್ವಯಂ ಅರಿವು ಹಾಗೂ ಅರ್ಥಪೂರ್ಣ ಮಾನವೀಯ ಸಂಬಂಧಗಳನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಸಲಹೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.

‘ಉನ್ನತ ಮೆದುಳಿನ ಚಲನಶೀಲತೆ’ ಪರಿಕಲ್ಪನೆಯನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿದ ಅವರು, ವೃತ್ತಿಪರ ಯಶಸ್ಸು ಕೇವಲ ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸೀಮಿತವಾಗಿಲ್ಲ. ಜ್ಞಾನ, ಕುತೂಹಲ, ಸಹಕಾರದ ಮನೋಭಾವ, ಭಾವನಾತ್ಮಕ ಪ್ರಬುದ್ಧತೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಬದಲಾಗುತ್ತಿರುವ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೊಂದಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯವನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು ಅಗತ್ಯ ಎಂದರು.

ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆ, ಸಹಾನುಭೂತಿ, ಹೊಣೆಗಾರಿಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಕಲ್ಪ ಎಂಬ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಜೀವನದ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶಕ ಸೂತ್ರಗಳನ್ನಾಗಿ ರೂಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಅವರು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಕರೆ ನೀಡಿದರು. ವಿನಯ, ನಿರಂತರ ಕಲಿಕೆ ಹಾಗೂ ದೇಶಪ್ರೇಮದ ಮನೋಭಾವದೊಂದಿಗೆ ವೃತ್ತಿಜೀವನ ಆರಂಭಿಸಿ, ಸಮಾಜಕ್ಕೆ ಅರ್ಥಪೂರ್ಣ ಕೊಡುಗೆ ನೀಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.

ಅಹ್ಮದ್ ಕುಟ್ಟಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠತೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಕೌಶಲ್ಯಾಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗೆ ಪಿ.ಎ. ಪಾಲಿಟೆಕ್ನಿಕ್ ಆದ್ಯತೆ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಬದಲಾಗುತ್ತಿರುವ ಅಗತ್ಯಗಳಿಗೆ ಅನುಗುಣವಾಗಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸಜ್ಜುಗೊಳಿಸುವ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದರು. ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಲಿತ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಳವಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಪ್ರಾಮಾಣಿಕತೆ, ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯ ಹಾಗೂ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಮಾಜಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಡುಗೆ ನೀಡುವಂತೆ ಪದವೀಧರರಿಗೆ ಕರೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.

ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ನಿರ್ಗಮನ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಸಾಧಕರನ್ನು ಸಮಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಎಲ್ಲ ಪದವೀಧರರಿಗೆ ಪದವಿ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಪತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ವಿತರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ನಂತರ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲ ಪ್ರೊ. ಇಸ್ಮಾಯಿಲ್ ಖಾನ್ ಅವರು ಪದವಿ ಪ್ರಮಾಣವಚನ ಬೋಧಿಸಿದರು. ವೃತ್ತಿಪರ ನೈತಿಕತೆ, ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠತೆ, ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಮಾಜ ಸೇವೆಯ ಬದ್ಧತೆಯನ್ನು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಪುನರುಚ್ಚರಿಸಿದರು.

ಪ್ರೊ. ಉಸ್ಮಾನ್ ಅವರ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಆರಂಭವಾಯಿತು. ಉಪಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲ ಪ್ರೊ. ಅಜಿತ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ವಾಸು ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿದರು. ಅನಿಸಾ ಅವರು ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಯನ್ನು ಪರಿಚಯಿಸಿದರು. ಪ್ರೊ. ಆಯಿಷತ್ ಶಮೀಮಾ ಹಾಗೂ ನಿಖಿತಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿದರು. ಪ್ರೊ. ತೇಜಸ್ವಿ ಮಾರ್ಥಾ ವಂದಿಸಿದರು. ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಗೀತೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಮುಗಿಯಿತು.

P. A. Polytechnic holds Graduation Day for Class of 2026

Mangaluru: P. A. Polytechnic held its Graduation Day 2026 at the PACE Auditorium on Friday, marking the successful completion of the academic journey of the Class of 2026.

Ahmed Kutty, Director–Finance, PAET, formally inaugurated the ceremony. Dr Rohan S. Monis, Chief Administrative Officer, Kanachur Hospital and Research Centre, was the chief guest, while Ahmed Kutty presided over the programme.

Addressing the graduating students, Dr Monis described them as the “technically charged giants of tomorrow” and urged them to look beyond technical skills as they enter the professional world. He emphasised the importance of continuous learning, resilience, discipline, emotional intelligence, social awareness, inclusivity, self-awareness and meaningful human relationships.

Speaking on Upper Brain Dynamics, Dr Monis said professional success requires more than technical competence and called upon the graduates to develop wisdom, curiosity, emotional maturity, collaborative skills and adaptability. He introduced GEAR — Gratitude, Empathy, Accountability and Resolution — as a simple framework to guide the students in their personal and professional lives.

Dr Monis also encouraged the graduates to face the changing demands of the professional world with humility, lifelong learning and a strong sense of responsibility towards society and the nation.

Ahmed Kutty, in his address, reiterated the institution’s commitment to academic excellence and skill development. He urged the graduates to uphold the values and discipline imparted by P. A. Polytechnic and contribute to society with integrity, competence and responsibility.

The Best Outgoing Student and academic toppers were felicitated for their outstanding performance. Graduation certificates were presented to all the graduands, formally marking the completion of their courses.

The graduates subsequently took the Graduation Oath, administered by Prof Ismail Khan, Principal, P. A. Polytechnic, pledging to uphold professional ethics, excellence and responsibility and to serve society.

The programme began with a prayer by Prof Usman. Prof Ajith Kumar Vasu, Vice-Principal, delivered the welcome address, while Ms Anisa introduced the chief guest. Prof Ayshath Shameema and Ms Nikitha compered the ceremony. Prof Thejaswi Martha proposed the vote of thanks. The event concluded with the National Anthem.

The ceremony was attended by Sharfuddeen P. K., AGM–Campus, PAET; Haris T. D., Purchase Manager, PAET; Dr Sayyad Ameen Ahammad, Dean–Student Affairs, PAET; Prof Ismail Khan, Principal; Prof Ajith Kumar Vasu, Vice-Principal; Arfaz, Coordinator; heads of departments, faculty members, parents and graduating students.
