ಸಂತ ಅಲೋಶಿಯಸ್ ಗೊನ್ಝಾಗ ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ರಕ್ಷಕ-ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ಸಂಘದ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ ಮಹಾಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಭಿಮತ
ಮಂಗಳೂರು: ಸಂತ ಅಲೋಶಿಯಸ್ ಗೊನ್ಝಾಗ ಶಾಲೆಯ ರಕ್ಷಕ-ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ಸಂಘದ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ ಮಹಾಸಭೆ- 2026ರ ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 8ರಂದು ಗೊನ್ಝಾಗ ಸಭಾಂಗಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಜರಗಿತು.
ಸಂತ ಅಲೋಶಿಯಸ್ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳ ರೆಕ್ಟರ್ ಹಾಗೂ ರಕ್ಷಕ-ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ಸಂಘದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ವಂ. ಫಾ. ಬ್ರಾಯೆನ್ ಪಿರೇರಾ ಎಸ್.ಜೆ. ಅವರು ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಯಾಗಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ, ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ಜೆಸ್ವಿಟ್ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ತತ್ವವಾದ ‘ಕೂರಾ ಪರ್ಸೋನಾಲಿಸ್’ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಯ ಸರ್ವತೋಮುಖ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗೆ ಪೂರಕ. ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಸಮಗ್ರ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪೋಷಕರ ಪಾತ್ರ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಮಹತ್ವದ್ದಾಗಿದೆ. ಪೋಷಕರು ಮೊದಲು ಮಕ್ಕಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಆತ್ಮೀಯ ಬಾಂಧವ್ಯ ಬೆಳೆಸಿ, ಅವರ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಿ ಮೆಚ್ಚಬೇಕು. ನಂತರ ಅವರ ತಪ್ಪುಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಯಿಂದ ತಿದ್ದಬೇಕು. ಪೋಷಕರು ತಾವೇ ಆದರ್ಶಪ್ರಯರಾಗುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸಿ, ಸ್ವಕೇಂದ್ರಿತ ಮನೋಭಾವದಿಂದ ಸೇವಾ ಮನೋಭಾವದತ್ತ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಮುನ್ನಡೆಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಫೂರ್ತಿದಾಯಕರಾಗಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ತಮ್ಮ ಬಾಲ್ಯ ಜೀವನದ ಸ್ವ ಅನುಭವವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸುತ್ತಾ, ಪೋಷಕರಿಗೆ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಸರ್ವತೋಮುಖ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಯಾವ ರೀತಿ ಮಾಡಬಹುದು ಎಂದು ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸಿದರು.
ಇದೇ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ‘ಸಂತ ಅಲೋಶಿಯಸ್ ಸಮಗ್ರ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿತ್ವ ವಿಕಸನ ಕೇಂದ್ರ’ ಎಂಬ ನೂತನ ಯೋಜನೆಯನ್ನು ಘೋಷಿಸಿದರು. ಅನುಭವಾಧಾರಿತ ಕಲಿಕೆ, ಆರೋಗ್ಯ-ಕ್ಷೇಮ, ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಪರಿಸರ ಜಾಗೃತಿಗೆ ಒತ್ತು ನೀಡುವ ಈ ಜಸ್ವಿಟ್ ಕೇಂದ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೃಷಿ, ಅಡುಗೆ, ಯೋಗ ಮತ್ತು ಚಾರಣ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ವಿವಿಧ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ತರಗತಿಯ ಹೊರತಾಗಿಯೂ ಅರ್ಥಪೂರ್ಣ ಅನುಭವಗಳಿಂದ ಕಲಿಯಲು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಅವಕಾಶ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು. ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನೀತಿ 2020ರ (ಎನ್.ಇ.ಪಿ) ಅನುಭವಾಧಾರಿತ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಮಗ್ರ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದ ಆಶಯಕ್ಕೆ ಈ ಯೋಜನೆ ಪೂರಕವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದರು.
ಶಾಲಾ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ವಂ.ಫಾ. ರೋಹನ್ ಡಿ’ಅಲ್ಮೇಡಾ ಎಸ್.ಜೆ. ಅವರು ಪೋಷಕರು ಹಾಗೂ ರಕ್ಷಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕ ಸಂಘದ ಸದಸ್ಯರ ಸಹಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು. ಈ ವೇಳೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಅವರು ಮನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಶಾಲೆ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಯ ಎರಡು ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಸ್ತಂಭಗಳು .ರಕ್ಷಕ-ಶಿಕ್ಷಕ ಸಂಘವು ಶಾಲೆಯ ಹಾಗೂ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಪ್ರಗತಿಗೆ ಸಹಕರಿಸುವ ತಂಡವಾಗಿ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಬೇಕು . ಜಪಾನ್ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಶಿಸ್ತು ಮತ್ತು ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿತನದಿಂದ ಬೆಳೆಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಗೆ ಅಗತ್ಯವಾದ ಏಳು ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳಾದ ಆಸಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸುವುದು, ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿ ನಿಭಾಯಿಸುವಿಕೆ, ವೈಫಲ್ಯದಿಂದ ಕಲಿಕೆ, ಭಾವನಾತ್ಮಕ ಸುರಕ್ಷತೆ, ಪ್ರಕೃತಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಬೆರೆಯುವುದು, ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿತ್ವ ವಿಕಸನ ಹಾಗೂ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣದಲ್ಲಿಡುವುದರ ಬದಲು ಸೂಕ್ತ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನವನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸಿರಿ. “ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಮೂಲ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದ ಆರಂಭ” ಎನ್ನುವ ಸಂದೇಶ ನೀಡಿದರು. ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಉತ್ತಮ ಭವಿಷ್ಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಪೋಷಕರು ಮತ್ತು ಶಾಲೆ ಒಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದರು. ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯಾಗಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದ ಲುಗಿನಾ ಮಿರಾಂಡಾ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಗದರಿಸುವ ಬದಲು ಅವರ ಭಾವನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಅರ್ಥಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಬೆಂಬಲಿಸಬೇಕು. ಉತ್ತಮ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಗಳನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಿ ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಿಸಬೇಕು. ಮೊದಲು ಸಂಪರ್ಕ, ನಂತರ ತಿದ್ದುಪಡಿ ಎಂಬ ಸಂದೇಶದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತಮ ಪೋಷಕತ್ವದ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು. ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸ ಬೆಳೆಸುವುದು, ಹೋಲಿಕೆ ಮಾಡುವುದನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸುವುದು, ಕುತೂಹಲವನ್ನು ಉತ್ತೇಜಿಸುವುದು ಹಾಗೂ ಪೋಷಕರು ತಾವೇ ಉತ್ತಮ ಮಾದರಿಯಾಗಿರುವುದು ಅಗತ್ಯ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ರಕ್ಷಕ-ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ಸಂಘದ ಉಪಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ರೀನಾ ನೊರೊನ್ಹಾ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಶಾಲೆಯ ವಿವಿಧ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪೋಷಕರು ಸಕ್ರಿಯವಾಗಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಬೇಕು. ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಿ, ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ ನೀಡಿ, ಸದಾ ಅವರ ಬೆಂಬಲಕ್ಕೆ ನಿಲ್ಲುವಂತೆ ಸಲಹೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿ.ಬಿ.ಎಸ್.ಇ ಬೋರ್ಡಿನ ಎಸ್.ಎಸ್.ಎಲ್.ಸಿ ಮತ್ತು ಪಿ.ಯು.ಸಿ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಧನೆಗೈದ ಪ್ರತಿಭಾನ್ವಿತ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.ರಕ್ಷಕ-ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ಸಂಘದ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಸಂಧ್ಯಾ ಮನೋಜ್ ಹಿಂದಿನ ಸಾಲಿನ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳ ವರದಿ ಮಂಡಿಸಿದರು. ಬಳಿಕ ಜಂಟಿ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಕ್ವೀನಿ ಫೆರ್ನಾಂಡಿಸ್ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ ವರದಿ ಹಾಗೂ ದೀಪ್ತಿ ಕರ್ಕಡ ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ವರದಿಯನ್ನು ಮಂಡಿಸಿದರು.
ನಿರ್ಗಮಿತ ರಕ್ಷಕ-ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ಕಾರ್ಯಕಾರಿ ಸಮಿತಿಯ ಸದಸ್ಯರಿಗೆ ದೀಪ ಕರ್ಕಡ ಅವರು ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು. ಉಪಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲೆ ಲಾರೆಲ್ ಡಿ’ಸೋಜಾ ಮತ್ತು ಅಪರ್ಣಾ ಸುರೇಶ್ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.
2026–27ನೇ ಸಾಲಿಗೆ ನೂತನವಾಗಿ ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾದ ರಕ್ಷಕ-ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ಕಾರ್ಯಕಾರಿ ಸಮಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಶಮಿತಾ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಪರಿಚಯಿಸಿದರು. ಅಕ್ವಿನಾ ರೆಬೆಲ್ಲೊ ಅವರು ಸಭಿಕರನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿದರು. ಸ್ವಾತಿ ಭರತ್ ವಂದನಾರ್ಪಣೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು. ಸ್ಯಾಮ್ಯುಯೆಲ್ ಪೀಟರ್ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿದರು.ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಯ ಸಮಗ್ರ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗಾಗಿ ಪೋಷಕರು ಮತ್ತು ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ನಡುವಿನ ಸಹಭಾಗಿತ್ವವನ್ನು ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಬಲಪಡಿಸುವ ಸಂಕಲ್ಪದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಭೆಯು ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ಮುಕ್ತಾಯಗೊಂಡಿತು.
ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ರಕ್ಷಕರು, ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಹಾಗೂ ಶಾಲಾ ಆಡಳಿತ ಮಂಡಳಿಯ ಸದಸ್ಯರು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
From Self-Centredness to Service-Mindedness: St Aloysius Gonzaga School Holds PTA Annual General Body Meeting
The Annual General Body Meeting of the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) of St Aloysius Gonzaga School was held on 8 August 2026 at Gonzaga Hall, bringing together parents, teachers and members of the school management.
Rev. Fr Brian Pereira SJ, Rector of St Aloysius Institutions and Chairperson of the PTA, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Addressing the gathering, he spoke on the core Jesuit principle of Cura Personalis (care for the whole person) and emphasized the vital role of parents in nurturing their children’s holistic development. He encouraged parents to first connect with their children, appreciate their strengths, and then gently correct their mistakes. He urged them to instill values by becoming role models and inspire their children to grow from self-centeredness to a spirit of service.
He also announced a new initiative—the St Aloysius Holistic Formation Centre, a Jesuit campus for experiential learning, wellness, culture and ecological formation. The proposed centre will offer activities such as farming, cooking, yoga and trekking, enabling students to learn through meaningful experiences beyond the classroom. He said the initiative aligns with the vision of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 by promoting experiential and holistic learning. He outlined a phased development plan extending to 2029 and invited parents and alumni to partner in the project by sponsoring various components of the centre. He concluded by thanking parents for their trust in the institution and sought their continued support in realising the vision.
Fr Rohan D’Almeida SJ, Principal, highlighted the importance of a strong home-school partnership in shaping responsible and compassionate individuals. He urged parents to prioritise character over marks, create an emotionally secure environment at home, encourage children to learn from failures, allow them to spend time in nature, and adopt a parenting approach that observes more and controls less while nurturing their passions and sense of responsibility.
Ms Lugina Miranda, Counsellor and Therapist, conducted an engaging session on positive parenting, focusing on quality time, active listening, open communication, encouragement and acceptance. She emphasised building trust, avoiding comparisons, nurturing curiosity and being positive role models. PTA Vice President Ms Reena Noronha encouraged parents to participate actively in school initiatives and urged them to love, guide and stand by their children.
The school also felicitated the toppers of the CBSE Class X and Class XII Board Examinations.
PTA Secretary Ms Sandhya Manoj reviewed the previous year’s activities, followed by the presentation of the Annual Report by PTA Joint Secretary Ms Quinni Fernandes and the Financial Statement by Treasurer Ms Deepthi Karkada. Ms Deepthi Karkada thanked the outgoing Parent-Teacher Executive Committee (PTEC) members, while Ms Shamitha Shetty introduced the newly elected PTEC for the year 2026–27.
Ms Acquina Rebello welcomed the gathering. Vice Principals Ms Laurel D’Souza and Ms Aparna Suresh were also present. Ms Swathi Bharat proposed the vote of thanks, and Mr Samuel Peters compered the programme.
The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment to strengthening the partnership between parents and educators for the holistic development of every student.
