ಮಂಗಳೂರು; ಸಂತ ಅಲೋಶಿಯಸ್ ಗೊನ್ಝಾಗ ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ 25ನೇ ಜೂನ್ 2026 ರಂದು ಕಿಂಡರ್ ಗಾರ್ಡನ್ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಬ್ಯಾಗುರಹಿತ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ‘ಕುಟುಂಬದ ನೆನಪುಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಕ್ಷಣಗಳು’ ಎಂಬ ಶೀರ್ಷಿಕೆಯಡಿ ನಡೆದ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಪೋಷಕರು ತಮ್ಮ ಮಕ್ಕಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಭಾಂಗಣಕ್ಕೆ ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಆಗಮಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಆರಂಭವಾಯಿತು. ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ವಂ. ಫಾ. ರೋಹನ್ ಡಿ’ಅಲ್ಮೇಡಾ ಎಸ್.ಜೆ ಮತ್ತು ಉಪ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲೆ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಅಪರ್ಣಾ ಸುರೇಶ್ ಅವರು ಪ್ರತಿ ಕುಟುಂಬಕ್ಕೂ ವಿಶೇಷ ಉಡುಗೊರೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಿ ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿದರು. ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರು, ಉಪ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲೆ, ಪೋಷಕರ ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿ, ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಗಳು ಜೊತೆಗೂಡಿ ಪಜಲ್ ಜೋಡಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿದರು. ಇದು ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಒಗ್ಗಟ್ಟಿನ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ತೋರಿಸಿತು. ನಂತರ ಉಪ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲೆ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಅಪರ್ಣಾ ಸುರೇಶ್ ಅವರು ದಿನದ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು. ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ವಂ.ಫಾ. ರೋಹನ್ ಡಿ’ಅಲ್ಲ್ಮೇಡ ಅವರು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಕುಟುಂಬ ಸಮಾಜದ ಆಧಾರ ಸ್ತಂಭ. ಪ್ರೀತಿ, ಹಂಚಿಕೆ, ಕೌಟುಂಬಿಕ ಕಾಳಜಿ ಮುಂತಾದ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಒತ್ತಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಬ್ಯಾಗುರಹಿತ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯ ಮೂಲಕ ಅನುಭವಾತ್ಮಕ ಕಲಿಕೆಯ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ಅರ್ಥೈಸುವಂತೆ ಕರೆ ನೀಡಿದರು. ನಂತರ ಪೋಷಕರು ಮತ್ತು ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಕಲಾ, ವೈವಿಧ್ಯಮಯ ಆಟಗಳು, ಸೆಲ್ಫಿ, , ಜುಂಬಾ ನೃತ್ಯ, ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲೇ ನಡೆವ ಆಟಗಳಂತಹ ವಿವಿಧ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಉತ್ಸಾಹದಿಂದ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದರು. ಪೋಷಕರು ಈ ಉಪಕ್ರಮದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಸಕಾರಾತ್ಮಕ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯ ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡು ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.ಕುಟುಂಬದ ವಿಷಯವನ್ನಾಧರಿಸಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ನೀಡಿದ ಮನೋಹರ ನೃತ್ಯ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ ಎಲ್ಲರ ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆ ಗಳಿಸಿತು. ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಎವೆರಿಲ್ ರೆಬೆಲ್ಲೋ ಅವರು ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿದರೆ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಡಯೋನರಾ ಜಾಯ್ಸ್ ಅವರು ವಂದಿಸಿದರು. ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಮಿಶಾಲ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಕ್ಲಾರಾ ಮರಿಯಾ ಅವರು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ನಿರೂಪಣೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
“Family Moments & Memories”: Bagless Day Celebrated with Joy and Togetherness in St Aloysius Gonzaga School
“The greatest gift we can give our children is not just our time, but our willingness to become children again,” beautifully remarked Mr Challarapu Aneel Kumar, Parent of Kedar Ved Vihaan Challarapu of Pre KG and Rudransh Shaurya C.H of KG I, capturing the essence of the Kindergarten Bagless Day celebration, Family Moments & Memories, held on 25 June 2026 at St Aloysius Gonzaga School.
Appreciating the event Niveditha Shenoy, parent of Vidhi Shenoy of KG I said, “We came without knowing what to expect, but the activities created a joyful space for both parents and children. Hearing my daughter thank me at the end of the programme filled my heart with happiness.”
Srinivas Shenoy Basty, Parent of Anaya Basty of KG II appreciated the efforts of the school management, staff, and organisers in making the event a success. The parent noted that the activities provided children with a refreshing break from screen time, encouraged creativity and active participation, and offered valuable opportunities for family bonding.
The programme began with a warm and cheerful procession, as parents entered the hall hand in hand with their children and received a special take-away from the Principal, Rev. Fr Rohan D’Almeida SJ, and Vice Principal, Ms Aparna Suresh.
The event commenced with a prayer song, followed by a welcome address by Ms Averyl Rebello. The theme Family Moments & Memories was formally unveiled during the inauguration. The Principal, Vice Principal, and parent and teacher representatives then symbolically assembled family-themed puzzle pieces and picture cut-outs, highlighting the vital role of unity, bonding, and shared experiences in family life.The significance of the day was explained by Vice Principal Ms. Aparna Suresh.
In his inaugural address, Principal Rev. Fr Rohan D’Almeida SJ highlighted that the family is the foundation of society. He emphasized the values of love, sharing, and caring within families and underscored the importance of experiential learning through Bagless Day initiatives.
A delightful dance performance by the teachers added colour and enthusiasm to the celebration. Parents and children actively participated in a variety of activity corners, including art and craft, games, selfie booths, ramp walk, and Zumba. The activities provided opportunities for families to bond, learn, and create lasting memories together. Parents displayed remarkable creativity and participated with great enthusiasm.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Ms. Dayonara Joyce. The event was a joyful celebration of family bonding, experiential learning, and the cherished moments that strengthen relationships between parents and children.
