ಮಂಗಳೂರು: ಜೂನ್ 25 ರಂದು, ಮುಖ್ಯೋಪಾಧ್ಯಾಯರು ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರ ಸಂಘವು (MCHMPA) 25-06-2026 ರಂದು ಲೇಡಿಹಿಲ್ ಉರ್ವಾ ಚರ್ಚ್ ಸಭಾಭವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಸಮ್ಮೇಳನವನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿತ್ತು. ಮುಖ್ಯಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಭೋಜೇಗೌಡ ಎಸ್ .ಎಲ್ ಶಾಸಕರು ವಿಧಾನ ಪರಿಷತ್ತು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸರಕಾರ, ಉದ್ಘಾಟಕರಾಗಿ ವಂ. ಫಾ. ಡಾ. ಲಿಯೋ ಪ್ರವೀಣ್ ಲಸ್ರಾದೊ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಗಳು ಕಥೋಲಿಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಮಂಡಳಿ, ಮಂಗಳೂರು,ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಮಿಲಾಗ್ರಿಸ್ ಶಾಲೆಯ ನಿವೃತ್ತ ಉಪ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಸ್ಟ್ಯಾನಿ ಬಾರೆಟ್ಟೊ, ಸಂಘದ ಗೌರವಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಅಲೋಶಿಯಸ್ ಡಿಸೋಜ,ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷೆ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಜಯವಂತಿ ಸೋನ್ಸ್, ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಮಟಿಲ್ಡಾ ಡಿಕೋಸ್ಟಾ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.
ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ, ಸದಸ್ಯ ಶಾಲೆಗಳ ನಿವೃತ್ತ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರಿಗೆ ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಲಾಯಿತು, 2025-26ನೇ ಸಾಲಿನ ಎಸ್.ಎಸ್.ಎಲ್.ಸಿ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ 100% ಫಲಿತಾಂಶ ಗಳಿಸಿದ ಶಾಲೆಗಳ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರನ್ನು ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಪ್ರತಿ ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಎಸ್.ಎಸ್ ಎಲ್. ಸಿ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಗರಿಷ್ಠ ಅಂಕ ಪಡೆದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಪದಕ ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಪತ್ರ ನೀಡಿ ಗೌರವಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ಉರ್ವಾ ಸಂತ ಅಲೋಶಿಯಸ್ ಆಂಗ್ಲ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ಶಾಲೆಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಯಿತು. ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಜಯವಂತಿ ಸೋನ್ಸ್ ಸ್ವಾಗತ ಭಾಷಣ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ದೀಪ ಬೆಳಗಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ಫಾ| ಲಿಯೋ ಪ್ರವೀಣ್ ಲಸ್ರಾದೊರವರು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ಮತ್ತು ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ನಿಸ್ವಾರ್ಥ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಗಳನ್ನು ಶ್ಲಾಘಿಸಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರತಿಭೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಅನುಗುಣವಾಗಿ ವೃತ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಆರಿಸಿ ಉತ್ತಮ ನಾಗರಿಕರಾಗಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಸೇವೆಯನ್ನು ಕೊಡುಗೆ ನೀಡುವಂತೆ ಕರೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ಕೊಡುಗೈ ದಾನಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಸ್ಟ್ಯಾನಿ ಫ್ರಾನ್ಸಿಸ್ ಬಾರೆಟ್ಟೊ ಇಂಗ್ಲಿಷ್ ಮತ್ತು ಕನ್ನಡ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ಶಾಲೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಗರಿಷ್ಠ ಅಂಕ ಪಡೆದ ಎಸ್.ಎಸ್ ಎಲ್ .ಸಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ರೂ.75,000 ಹಾಗೂ ಕನ್ನಡ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಅತ್ಯಧಿಕ ಅಂಕ ಪಡೆದ ಇಬ್ಬರು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಸುರೇಖಾ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಶ್ರೀ ಭಗವತಿ ಶಾಲೆ ಸಂಕೊಳಿಗೆ ಇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಮಗಳು ದಿವಂಗತ ಸುಕನ್ಯಾ ಸ್ಮರಣಾರ್ಥ ರೂ. 10,000 ರೂ.ಗಳನ್ನು ವಿತರಿಸಿದರು.
ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ ಶಾಸಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಭೋಜೇಗೌಡ ಎಸ್ . ಎಲ್ ರವರು ,ಉತ್ತಮ ಫಲಿತಾಂಶವನ್ನು ಪಡೆದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಶಾಲೆಗಳನ್ನೂ, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅಭಿನಂದಿಸಿ ಪ್ರೇರಣೆಯ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನಾಡಿದರು. ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ವರ್ಣಿಸಿದ ಅವರು ಸಂಸ್ಕಾರವನ್ನು ರೂಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಕರೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ಸಂಘದ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಮೆಟಿಲ್ಡಾ ಡಿಕೋಸ್ತಾ ರವರು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಯಶಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಸಹಕರಿಸಿದ ಎಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ವಂದಿಸಿದರು. ಸಿಸ್ಟರ್ ಅನಿತಾ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಶಾಂತಿ ಇವರು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿದರು. ಸಂಘದ ಸದಸ್ಯರ ಸಹಾಯ ಸಹಕಾರದಿಂದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ಮೂಡಿ ಬಂತು.
Annual Educational Conference of the High School Headmasters’ Association
Mangaluru, June 25: The Headmasters and Principals Association (MCHMPA) organized its Annual Educational Conference on 25-06-2026 at Ladyhill Urwa Church Auditorium.
The Chief Guest for the occasion was Mr. Bhojegowda S.L., Member of the Karnataka Legislative Council. The conference was inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Dr. Leo Praveen Lobo, Secretary of the Catholic Board of Education, Mangaluru.
Mr. Stany Barreto, former Vice Principal of Milagres School; Mr. Aloysius D’Souza, Honorary President of the Association; Mrs. Jayavanthi Soans, President; and Mrs. Matilda D’Costa, Secretary were present.
On this occasion, retired HMs from member schools were felicitated. HM’s of schools that achieved 100% results in the 2025–26 SSLC Examination were also honored. Medals and certificates of appreciation were awarded to students who secured the highest marks in the SSLC Examination in their respective schools.
The programme commenced with a prayer by the students of St. Aloysius English Medium School, Urwa. Mrs. Jayavanthi Soans delivered the welcome address. The conference was formally inaugurated with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp.
In his inaugural address, Rev. Fr. Dr. Leo Praveen Lobo appreciated the selfless efforts of headmasters and teachers. He encouraged students to choose careers according to their talents and abilities and to contribute to the nation as responsible citizens.
Generous donor Mr. Stany Francis Barreto distributed cash awards totaling ₹75,000 to SSLC students who secured the highest marks in English and Kannada medium schools. In addition, Mrs. Surekha, Headmistress of Bhagavathi School, Sankolige, awarded ₹10,000 in memory of her late daughter Sukanya to two girl childrens who secured the highest marks in Kannada medium schools.
Addressing the gathering, chief guest Mr. Bhojegowda S.L. congratulated all the schools and students who achieved excellent results and shared words of encouragement. Emphasizing the importance of education, he urged students to cultivate good values and character.
Mrs. Matilda D’Costa, Secretary of the Association, proposed the vote of thanks and expressed gratitude to all those who contributed to the success of the programme. Sr. Anitha and Mrs. Shanthi Dsouza compered the event.
With the wholehearted support and cooperation of the Association members, the conference was conducted successfully.
