ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಮುಖ್ಯಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಲೆಕ್ಕ ಪರಿಶೋಧನೆ ಮತ್ತು
ಲೆಕ್ಕಾಚಾರ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ಉಪ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕಿ ಶೀಮತಿ ಅಸ್ಮಾ ಕೆ. ಅವರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ‘ಎಲ್ಲಾಧರ್ಮಗಳು
ನಮಗೆ ಪೀಃತಿ, ದಾನ ಮತ್ತು ಸೌಹಾರ್ದತೆಯನ್ನುಕಲಿಸುತ್ತವೆ. ಬಕ್ರೀದಂತಹ ಹಬಗ್ಗಳು ವೈವಿಧತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಏಕತೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಶಕ್ತಿ ಎ೦ಬುದನ್ನು ನಮಗೆ ನೆನಪಿಸುತದೆ” ಎ೦ದರು. ಬಕ್ರೀದಂತಹ ಆಚರಣೆಗಳು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ವಿವಿಧ ನಂಬಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮೆಚ್ಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಮತು ಸೌಹಾರ್ದತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಏಕತೆಯ ಭಾವವನ್ನುಬೆಳೆಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡುತ್ತವೆ ಎ೦ದು ಅವರು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.

ಅವರು ಬಕ್ರೀದ ಹಂ೦ಚಿಕೊಳುವಿಕೆ. ಮತ್ತು ಕಾಳಜಿಯ ಹಬ್ಬ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರು. ಮತ್ತು ಅಗತ್ಯವಿರುವವರೊ೦ದಿಗೆ ಹ೦ಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಅವರು ವಿದಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಿಸಿದರು. ಹಂಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು ಯಾವುದೇ ಧರ್ಮದ ಅತಂತ ಉದಾತಅಭಿವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ಎ೦ದು ಬಣಿಕಿದರು. ಬಕ್ರೀದ್ ಮತ್ತು ವಿಶ್ಚಪರಿಸರ ದಿನದ ನಡುವೆ ಅರ್ಥಪೂರ್ಣ ಸ೦ಬ೦ಧವನ್ನುಹೋಲಿಸಿದ ಅವರು, ಪಕೃತಿಯು ಸಾರ್ಥವಿಲಧೆ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ನೀಡುತ್ತದೆ, ಮತು ಉದಾರತೆ, ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆ ಮತು ಸೌಹಾರ್ದತೆಯಿ೦ದ ಬದುಕಲು ಮಾನವೀಯತೆಗೆ ಸೂರ್ತಿ ನೀಡುತ್ತದೆ ಎ೦ದರು. ಬಕ್ರೀದ್ ಮಹತವನ್ನುಎತ್ತಿ ತೋರಿಸುವ ಅ೦ತರ್- ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಪಾರ್ಥನಾ ಸೇವೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಆಚರಣೆ ಪಾಥ೦ಭವಾಯಿತು. ಮಾಹಿತಿ ವಿಡೀಯೊ ಮೂಲಕ ವಿದಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಹಬದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಆಳವಾದ ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆದರು. ನ೦ತರ ನಡೆದ ಚೈತನ್ಯ ಭರಿತ ಕವಾಲಿ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನವು ಕಾರ್ಯಕಮಕ್ಕೆ ಉತ್ಸಾಹವನ್ನು ತುಂಬಿತು. ಉಪ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಶೀಮತಿ ಅಪರ್ಣ ಸುರೇಶ್ ಮತು ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಸ೦ಯೋಜಕಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಕ್ಯಾರಲ್ಟೀ ನಾ ರೋಡಿಗಸ್ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು. 5ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ಸೌಹಾರ್ದ್ ಎಸ್. ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿದರು, ಸ್ನಿಗ್ಧಾ ಶೈಲೇಶ್ ಕರ್ಕೇರಾ ವಂದಿಸಿದರು. ಜೂಲಿಯನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಪಾವನಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕಮವನ್ನು ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿದರು. ಶಿಕ್ಷಕಿಯರಾ ದ ಶೀಮತಿ ದಿವ್ಯ ಕೆ. ಮತ್ತು ಶೀಮತಿ ಟೀನಾ ಅಬ್ರಾಹಾ೦ ಅವರು ಕಾರ್ಯಕಮವನ್ನು ಸ೦ಯೋಜಿಸಿದರು.
BAKRID CELEBRATION AT ST ALOYSIUS GONZAGA SCOOL
“All religions teach us love, charity and harmony. Festivals like Bakrid remind us that unity in diversity is our greatest strength,” said Ms Asma K., Deputy Director, Karnataka State Audit and Accounts Department, while addressing students at the Bakrid celebration held at St Aloysius Gonzaga School on 5 June 2026 in the Gonzaga Hall.
The programme was graced by Ms Asma K. as the Chief Guest. She is also a proud parent of Master Mohammad Ashaz of Class 5B. Principal Rev. Fr. Rohan D’Almeida, SJ, Vice Principal Ms Aparna Suresh (Primary section) and Academic Coordinator (Primary Section) Ms Carol Tina Rodrigues were among the dignitaries present.
In her inspiring address, Ms Asma K. emphasized that every religion promotes the values of love, compassion, and service. She noted that celebrations such as Bakrid help students appreciate diverse faiths and nurture the spirit of brotherhood and unity. Encouraging students to make choices that bring pride to their families, teachers, and the nation, she also highlighted the importance of skill-based learning, competitive exam preparation, and timely guidance from parents and teachers.
Addressing the gathering, Principal Fr Rohan D’Almeida, SJ, spoke about the true essence of Bakrid as a festival of sharing and caring. He encouraged students to share with friends and those in need, describing sharing as the noblest expression of any religion. Drawing a meaningful connection between Bakrid and World Environment Day, he reminded students that nature selflessly gives to all and inspires humanity to live with generosity, gratitude, and harmony.
The celebration commenced with an interfaith prayer service highlighting the significance of Bakrid. Students gained deeper insights into the festival through an informative video presentation, followed by a vibrant qawwali performance that added colour and enthusiasm to the occasion.
The gathering was welcomed by Souhardh S. of Class 5B, while the Vote of Thanks was proposed by Snigdha Shailesh Karkera of Class 5B. The programme was compered by Julian and Paavani of Class 5B.
The event was efficiently coordinated by Ms Divya K. and Ms Teena Abraham, with students of Classes 5A and 5B taking charge of organising and conducting the programme. The Bakrid celebration served as a meaningful platform to promote the values of faith, sacrifice, gratitude, sharing, and communal harmony among the students.
