ಬಜ್ಜೋಡಿ ; ಇನ್ಫೆಂಟ್ ಮೇರಿ ಚರ್ಚ್ – ಸೌರ್ಹಾದ ಬಂಧುತ್ವ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ಮಸ್ ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ 21; ಭಾನುವಾರ ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ 10.30 ಕ್ಕೆ ಬಜ್ಜೋಡಿಯ ಇನ್ಫೆಂಟ್ ಮೇರಿ ಚರ್ಚ್ ಸಭಾಂಗಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಭ್ರಾತೃತ್ವ ಬಂಧುತ್ವ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯತೆಯ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ಮಸ್ ಸಂಭ್ರಮ – ಭ್ರಾತೃತ್ವದ ಸಹಭೋಜನ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ನಡೆಯಿತು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಅನೇಕ ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಮುಖಂಡರು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ ಭಾಂದ್ವತದ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ಮಸ್ನ ಶಾಂತಿ, ಪ್ರೀತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಮರಸ್ಯವನ್ನು ಹಾರೈಸಿದರು.
ಸಂಸದ ಕ್ಯಾಪ್ಟನ್ ಬ್ರಿಜೇಶ್ ಚೌಟ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಭಾಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಭಾರತೀಯರು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ನಾವು ವಿವಿಧ ಧರ್ಮಗಳಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿದವರಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ಮಸ್ ಸಾಮರಸ್ಯ, ಸ್ನೇಹ ಮತ್ತು ಏಕತೆಯಿಂದ ಬದುಕಲು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಆಹ್ವಾನಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಅವರು ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ಮಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ಹೊಸ ವರ್ಷದ ಶುಭಾಶಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕೋರಿದರು.
ಶಾಸಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಡಿ. ವೇದವ್ಯಾಸ್ ಕಾಮತ್ ಅವರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ನಮ್ಮ ಭಾರತವು ಬಹಳ ವಿಶಾಲವಾಗಿದೆ. ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಅನೇಕ ಧರ್ಮಗಳಿವೆ. ಆದರೂ ಭಾರತವು ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಕರಾವಳಿ ಪ್ರಗತಿ, ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿ ಮತ್ತು ಏಕತೆಗೆ ಮಾದರಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಭಿನ್ನಾಭಿಪ್ರಾಯಗಳ ಹೊರತಾಗಿಯೂ ನಾವು ಸಾಮರಸ್ಯದಿಂದ ಬದುಕೋಣ. ಅವರು ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ಮಸ್ ಶುಭಾಶಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕೋರಿದರು.
ಮಾಜಿ ವಿಧಾನ ಪರಿಷತ್ ಸದಸ್ಯರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಜೆ. ಆರ್. ಲೋಬೊ ಅವರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು: ಕ್ರಿಶ್ಚಿಯನ್ ಧರ್ಮವು ನಮಗೆ ಕ್ಷಮೆ, ಸಹಿಷ್ಣುತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಮರಸ್ಯದ ಉದಾಹರಣೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಡುತ್ತದೆ. ಯೇಸು ನಮಗೆ ದೇವರ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯನ್ನು ತರಲು ಜನಿಸಿದನು. ಅಂತಿಮವಾಗಿ ಅವರು ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದವನ್ನು ಹಾರೈಸಿದರು.
ಪದುವಾ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಫಾದರ್ ಅರುಣ್ ವಿಲ್ಸನ್ ಲೋಬೊ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಧರ್ಮದ ಜನರು ಇರುವ ಇಂತಹ ಸುಂದರವಾದ ಇಂತಹ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ನೋಡಲು ಸಂತೋಷವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಇದು ನಮ್ಮ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತಮ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕಲಿಸಲು ನಮಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ.
ಪ್ರಾಂತೀಯ ಪ್ರೊವಿನ್ಸಿಯಲ್ ಬಿ.ಎಸ್. ಸಿಸ್ಟತ್ ಲಿಲ್ಲಿ ಪೆರೇರಾ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ಮಸ್ ಶುಭಾಶಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕೋರಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಈ ಹಬ್ಬವು ಏಕತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಯನ್ನು ತರಲಿ ಎಂದು ಹಾರೈಸಿದರು. ಎಂಎಲ್ಸಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಇವಾನ್ ಡಿಸೋಜ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ಮಸ್ ಶುಭಾಶಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕೋರಿದರು.
ಬಜ್ಜೋಡಿ ಚರ್ಚಿನ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಧರ್ಮಗುರು ವಂ। ಡೊಮಿನಿಕ್ ವಾಸ್ ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿದರು. ಶ್ರೀ ಫ್ರಾಂಕ್ಲಿನ್ ಮಾಂತೆರೊ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಪರಿಚಯವನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದರು.ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಜಾನೆಟ್ ಡಿಸೋಜ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಧನ್ಯವಾದ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದರು.
ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಂದೂ ಮುಸ್ಲಿಂ ಮತ್ತು ಕ್ರಿಶ್ಚಿಯನ್ ಧರ್ಮದ ಸುಮಾರು 250 ಜನರು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಭೋಜನದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಮುಕ್ತಾಯವಾಯಿತು.
Infant Mary Church, Bajjodi – Christmas Celebration of Nationalism – Communion of Fraternity
Bajjodi; A Bandtuva Christmas program was organised at Infant Mary Church hall, Bajjodi, on Sunday December 21st at 10.30 am. Many Religious and Political leaders participated in the program. They spoke and wished peace, love and harmony of Christmas.
Capt. Brijesh Chauta, MP, in his speech he said that we are all Indians.Though we belong to different Religions Christmas invites us to live in harmony, friendship and unity. He wished all a merry Christmas and a happy new year.
Sri D. Vedavyas Kamath, MLA, spoke and said that our India is very vast. We have many religions. Yet India especially our Karavali is a model for progress, prosperity and unity. Inspite of differences let us live in harmony. He also wished everyone a happy Christmas.
Sri J R Lobo, MLC, spoke: Christianity give us an example of forgiveness, tolerance and harmony . Jesus was born to bring us love of God. Finally he wished everyone the blessings of Jesus.
Fr Arun Wilson Lobo, Principal Paudua college, spoke and said that he is happy to see such a beautiful program where all the people of all religions are there. This will help us to teach our children good values.
Sr Lilly Pereira, BS, Provincial wished everyone the greetings of Christmas and said may this feast bring unity and prosperity. Sri Ivan D’souza MLC wished everyone a happy Christmas. Head priest of Bajjodi Church Fr Dominic vas welcomed.
Sri Franklin Monteiro gave the introduction to the program.
Mrs Janet D’souza thanked everyone.
Around 250 people from all the religions- Hindus Muslims and Christians participated in the program. The program concluded with the fellowship meal.
