Gonzaga School celebrated Bagless Day “Little Gonzagaites’ Fun Fiesta”
ಮಂಗಳೂರು ; ಸಂತ ಅಲೋಶಿಯಸ್ ಗೊನ್ಝಾಗ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಕಿಂಡರ್ಗಾರ್ಟನ್ ವಿಭಾಗವು ನವೆಂಬರ್ 7, 2025 ರಂದು ಗೊನ್ಝಾಗ ಕ್ಯಾಂಪಸ್ನಲ್ಲಿ “ಲಿಟಲ್ ಫನ್ ಫಿಯೆಸ್ಟಾ” ಎಂಬ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬ್ಯಾಗ್ ಮುಕ್ತ ದಿನವನ್ನು “ಫ್ರೂಟಿ ಫನ್ ಲ್ಯಾಂಡ್” ಎಂಬ ವಿಷಯದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಆಚರಿಸಿತು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ವಂ. ಫಾ. ರೋಹನ್ ಡಿ. ಅಲ್ಮೇಡ ಎಸ್.ಜೆ. ಅವರು ಬ್ಯಾಗ್ ಮುಕ್ತ ದಿನದ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ಜೀವನ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸುಂದರವಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ಅವರು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಜೀವನವನ್ನು ಹಣ್ಣಿನಂತೆಯೇ ಬಣ್ಣಗಳಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿ, ಸಿಹಿತನದಿಂದ ಕೂಡಿ ರೂಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸಿದರು.
ಬ್ಯಾಗ್ ಮುಕ್ತ ದಿನದ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ಕೆಜಿ–II ಬಿ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಥಾನ್ವಿಕಾ ನರೇಂದ್ರನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಶೈವಿ ಶೈಲೇಶ್ ರೈ ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು. ಕೆಜಿ–II ಸಿ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಫಾತಿಮಾ ಇನಾರಾ ಅವರು “ಫ್ರೂಟಿ ಫನ್ ಲ್ಯಾಂಡ್” ವಿಷಯದ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ಆರೋಗ್ಯ, ಪೌಷ್ಟಿಕತೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಹಣ್ಣಿನ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು. ಉಪಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಕಿಂಡರ್ಗಾರ್ಟನ್ ಸಂಯೋಜಕಿಯಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಅಪರ್ಣಾ ಸುರೇಶ್ ಅವರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.
ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಆಕರ್ಷಣೆಯಾಗಿ ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಂಡ ವಿವಿಧ ಮನರಂಜನಾತ್ಮಕ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಆಸಕ್ತಿಯ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಆಯ್ಕೆಮಾಡಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸುವ ಅವಕಾಶ ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು. ಈ ಅನುಭವಾಧಾರಿತ ಕಲಿಕೆ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಹಣ್ಣುಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಿತು. ಕೆಜಿ–II ಎ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಹಿತೈಷಿ ದತ್ ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿದರೆ ಕೆಜಿ–II ವಿಭಾಗದ ಅರಾವ್ಯ ಹಾಗೂ ಸ್ವರ ಆದಿತ್ಯ ಅಂಚನ್ ಧನ್ಯವಾದವನ್ನಿತ್ತರು. ತಿಯಾರಾ ಕ್ಲೇರ್ ಡಿ’ಸೋಜಾ, ನಾಯಿಶ್ಕಾ ಅಳ್ವ ಮತ್ತು ಜೋರ್ಡನ್ ಮಾರ್ಕ್ ಸಲ್ದಾನ್ಹ ಅವರು ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿದರು.

Mangaluru ; The Kindergarten section of St Aloysius Gonzaga School celebrated Bagless Day, “Little Gonzagaites’ Fun Fiesta”, on 7th November 2025 in the Gonzaga Campus. The theme for the day was “Fruity Fun Land”.
The event was inaugurated by the Principal, Rev. Fr Rohan D’Almeida SJ, along with the Vice-Principal and Kindergarten Coordinator, Ms Aparna Suresh, marking the beginning of a joyful and experiential learning journey. In his address, Fr Rohan highlighted the importance of Bagless Day and beautifully related the theme to life’s values, encouraging students to make their lives colourful and to spread sweetness like fruits.
The programme began with a melodious prayer song, followed by a warm welcome address by Hithaishi Datt of KG–II A. The significance of Bagless Day was shared by Thanvika Narendiran and Shaivi Shailesh Rai of KG–II B, while Fathima Inara of KG–II C spoke on the theme “Fruity Fun Land”, celebrating health, nutrition, and the joy of fruits.
The highlight of the event was the variety of engaging activities arranged in different corners, where each child had the freedom to choose an activity of their liking and participate in a fun-filled and joyful manner. This hands-on experience made learning about fruits both enjoyable and meaningful.
The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Arravya and Swara Aditya Anchan of KG–II and was compered by Tiara Claire D’Souza, Naishka Alva, and Jordan Mark Saldanha. The day was truly vibrant, joyful, and fruitful.
