Mission Sunday 2025 Celebrated with Joy and Fellowship at Kallianpur Mount Rosary Church
ಸಂತೆಕಟ್ಟೆ-ಕಲ್ಲಿಯನ್ಪುರದ ಮೌಂಟ್ ರೋಸರಿ ಚರ್ಚ್ನ ಪ್ಯಾರಿಷಿಯನ್ನರು 26 ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್ 2025 ರಂದು ಮಿಷನ್ ಭಾನುವಾರವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲು ಬಹಳ ಉತ್ಸಾಹ ಮತ್ತು ಒಗ್ಗಟ್ಟಿನಿಂದ ಒಟ್ಟುಗೂಡಿದರು. ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ 7:30 ಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಪಂಚದಾದ್ಯಂತ ಮಿಷನರಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳ ಯಶಸ್ಸಿಗಾಗಿ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಲಾದ ಗಂಭೀರವಾದ ಥ್ಯಾಂಕ್ಸ್ಗಿವಿಂಗ್ ಪವಿತ್ರ ಬಲಿದಾನದೊಂದಿಗೆ ದಿನವು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಯಿತು.
ಬಲಿದಾನದ ನಂತರ, ಧರ್ಮೋಪದೇಶಕರು ಮಿಲೇನಿಯಮ್ ಆಡಿಟೋರಿಯಂನಲ್ಲಿ ಒಟ್ಟುಗೂಡಿದರು, ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ಯಾಥೋಲಿಕ್ ಸಭಾ ಮೌಂಟ್ ರೋಸರಿ ಚರ್ಚ್ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿದ್ದ ಬಹುನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿತ ಮತ್ತು ರುಚಿಕರವಾದ ಆಕರ್ಷಣೆ – “ಮಿಸಾವ್ನ್ ಹೋಟೆಲ್” – ಎಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಲು ಸಿದ್ಧವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಸಾಂಪ್ರದಾಯಿಕ ಭಕ್ಷ್ಯಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಜನಪ್ರಿಯ ಪಾಶ್ಚಿಮಾತ್ಯ ಮಾಂಸ ಭಕ್ಷ್ಯಗಳ ರುಚಿಕರವಾದ ಹರಡುವಿಕೆಯು ಇಂದ್ರಿಯಗಳಿಗೆ ನಿಜವಾದ ಹಬ್ಬವನ್ನು ನೀಡಿತು.
YCS/YSM, ಮರಿಯನ್ ಸೊಡಾಲಿಟಿ, SVP, ತೃತೀಯ, ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನಾ ಗುಂಪುಗಳು, ಮೌಂಟ್ ರೋಸರಿ ಇಂಗ್ಲಿಷ್ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ಪ್ರೌಢಶಾಲಾ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ/ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು, ವಿವಿಧ ಸಸ್ಯಗಳು/ಸಸಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ICYM ನಂತಹ ವಿವಿಧ ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಸಂಘಗಳು ತಮ್ಮದೇ ಆದ ಆಹಾರ ಮತ್ತು ಆಟದ ಮಳಿಗೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿ, ರುಚಿಕರವಾದ ತಿನಿಸುಗಳು, ಐಸ್ ಕ್ರೀಮ್ಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಮೋಜಿನ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಯುವಕರು ಮತ್ತು ಹಿರಿಯರನ್ನು ಆಕರ್ಷಿಸಿದವು. ಬಿರಿಯಾನಿ, ಕೋಳಿ ಭಕ್ಷ್ಯಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸದಾ ಜನಪ್ರಿಯವಾಗಿರುವ ಹಂದಿಮಾಂಸ ಬಫಾದ್ ಅನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡ ವಿವಿಧ ಊಟದ ಪ್ಯಾಕ್ಗಳನ್ನು ತಯಾರಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಸ್ತ್ರೀ ಸಂಘಟನ್ ಸದಸ್ಯರು ಉದಾರವಾಗಿ ಕೊಡುಗೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ದಿನದ ಒಂದು ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಅಂಶವೆಂದರೆ ಶ್ರೀ ವಿನ್ಸೆಂಟ್ ಕ್ವಾಡ್ರೋಸ್ ಅವರ ಸೃಜನಶೀಲ ಉಪಕ್ರಮ, ಅವರು ಎಲ್ಲಾ 18 ಪ್ಯಾರಿಷ್ ವಾರ್ಡ್ಗಳನ್ನು ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ಒಳಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು, ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದೂ ಹರಾಜಿಗೆ ವಿಶಿಷ್ಟವಾದ ಉಡುಗೊರೆ ಹ್ಯಾಂಪರ್ಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಿತು. ಅಪರೂಪದ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಾಚೀನ ವಸ್ತುಗಳ ರೋಮಾಂಚಕಾರಿ ಹರಾಜು, ಉದಾರ ಪ್ಯಾರಿಷನರ್ಗಳು ಪ್ರಾಯೋಜಿಸಿದ ವಿಶೇಷ ಉತ್ಪನ್ನಗಳ ಜೊತೆಗೆ, ಜನಸಮೂಹವನ್ನು ಮನರಂಜನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನದವರೆಗೆ ತೊಡಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿತ್ತು.
ಗೊರೆಟ್ಟಿ ಕಾನ್ವೆಂಟ್ನ SRA ಸಿಸ್ಟರ್ಸ್ ಕೂಡ ಪೂರ್ಣ ಹೃದಯದಿಂದ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದರು, ಅವರ ಉಪ್ಪಿನಕಾಯಿ ಮತ್ತು ಕೇಕ್ ಸ್ಟಾಲ್ಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆಯನ್ನು ಗಳಿಸಿದರು, ಇದು ಅಗಾಧ ಪ್ರತಿಕ್ರಿಯೆಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯಿತು.
ಇದಕ್ಕೂ ಮೊದಲು, ಪ್ಯಾರಿಷ್ ಪಾದ್ರಿ ರೆವರೆಂಡ್ ಡಾ. ರೋಕ್ ಡಿಸೋಜಾ ಅವರು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ಯಾರಿಷಿಯನ್ನರ ಸಕ್ರಿಯ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸುವಿಕೆ, ಔದಾರ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಮಿಷನರಿ ಮನೋಭಾವಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅಭಿನಂದಿಸಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದರು. ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದ ಪ್ರತಿ ರೂಪಾಯಿಯೂ ಶುಭ ಸುದ್ದಿಯನ್ನು ಹರಡಲು ಮತ್ತು ಭಾರತ ಮತ್ತು ವಿದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮಿಷನ್ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿನ ಬಡವರ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ, ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ಉನ್ನತಿಗೆ ಬೆಂಬಲ ನೀಡಲು ಬಳಸಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ನೆನಪಿಸಿದರು.
ICYM ನಡೆಸಿದ ಹೌಸಿ ಆಟದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಸಂತೋಷದಿಂದ ಮುಕ್ತಾಯಗೊಂಡಿತು, ಇದು ಹಬ್ಬದ ವಾತಾವರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಉತ್ಸಾಹವನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸುವ ಆಕರ್ಷಕ ಬಹುಮಾನಗಳನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡಿತ್ತು.
ತೆರೆಮರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ, ಸಹಾಯಕ ಪ್ಯಾರಿಷ್ ಪಾದ್ರಿ ರೆವರೆಂಡ್ ಫಾದರ್ ರೋಹನ್ ಮಸ್ಕರೆನ್ಹಾಸ್ ಮತ್ತು PPC ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಪ್ರಿಯಾ ಫುರ್ಟಾಡೊ, ICYM ಹಾಲ್ ಮ್ಯಾನೇಜರ್ ಶ್ರೀ ಗಾಡ್ವಿನ್ ಮಸ್ಕರೆನ್ಹಾಸ್, ಶ್ರೀ ಹೆರಾಲ್ಡ್ ಮಸ್ಕರೆನ್ಹಾಸ್ ಮುಂತಾದವರ ಅವಿಶ್ರಾಂತ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಗಳು ಸಂಘಟನಾ ತಂಡದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಅವರ ಸಮರ್ಪಿತ ಯೋಜನೆ ಮತ್ತು ದೋಷರಹಿತ ಸಮನ್ವಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ವಿಶೇಷ ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆಗೆ ಅರ್ಹವಾಗಿವೆ.
ಒಟ್ಟಾರೆಯಾಗಿ, ಮೌಂಟ್ ರೋಸರಿ ಚರ್ಚ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಮಿಷನ್ ಫೆಟ್ 2025 ನಂಬಿಕೆ, ಏಕತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸೇವೆಯ ರೋಮಾಂಚಕ ಅಭಿವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಆಧ್ಯಾತ್ಮಿಕ ಪುಷ್ಟೀಕರಣವನ್ನು ಸಂತೋಷದಾಯಕ ಫೆಲೋಶಿಪ್ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂಯೋಜಿಸಿತು – ನಿಜವಾಗಿಯೂ ಸ್ಮರಣೀಯ ದಿನ!
Mission Sunday 2025 Celebrated with Joy and Fellowship at Mount Rosary Church
26th October 2025 | Millennium Auditorium, Santhekatte
The parishioners of Mount Rosary Church, Santhekatte–Kallianpur, came together in great enthusiasm and unity to celebrate Mission Sunday on 26th October 2025. The day began with a solemn Thanksgiving Holy Mass at 7:30 a.m., offered for the success of missionary works across the world.
Immediately after Mass, the parishioners assembled in the Millennium Auditorium, where the much-awaited and flavourful attraction — “Misavn Hotel”, organised by the Catholic Sabha Mount Rosary Church — was ready to welcome everyone. A delightful spread of local traditional delicacies and popular Western meat dishes offered a true feast for the senses.
Adding more colour to the event, various pious associations such as YCS/YSM, Marian Sodality, SVP, Tertiary, Prayer Groups, Mount Rosary English Medium High School Staff/ students, various plants / saplings and ICYM set up their own food and game stalls, attracting both young and old with tasty treats, ice creams, and fun-filled activities. The Stree Sanghatan members contributed generously by preparing a variety of lunch packs featuring biryani, chicken dishes, and the ever-popular pork bafad.
A highlight of the day was the creative initiative of Mr. Vincent Quadros, who successfully involved all 18 parish wards, each contributing a unique gift hamper for auction. The exciting auction of rare and antique items, along with special products sponsored by generous parishioners, kept the crowd entertained and engaged till noon.
The SRA Sisters of Goretti Convent too participated wholeheartedly, drawing much appreciation for their pickle and cake stall, which received an overwhelming response.
Earlier, the Parish Priest Rev. Dr. Roque D’Souza congratulated and thanked all parishioners for their active participation, generosity, and missionary spirit. He reminded everyone that every rupee raised would go towards spreading the Good News, and supporting education, healthcare, and upliftment of the poor in mission regions across India and abroad.
The event concluded joyfully with a Housie game conducted by ICYM, featuring attractive prizes that added excitement to the festive atmosphere.
Behind the scenes, the tireless efforts of Rev. Fr. Rohan Mascarenhas, Assistant Parish Priest, and Mrs. Priya Furtado, PPC Secretary, Mr Godwin Muscarenhas of ICYM Hall Manager, Mr Herald Mascarenhas etc along with the Organising Team, deserve special appreciation for their dedicated planning and flawless coordination.
Overall, the Mission Fete 2025 at Mount Rosary Church was a vibrant expression of faith, unity, and service, blending spiritual enrichment with joyful fellowship — truly a day to remember!
