ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಮಿಲಾಗ್ರಿಸ್‌ನ ನಮ್ಮ ಲೇಡಿ ಆಫ್ ಮಿರಾಕಲ್ಸ್ ಚರ್ಚ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಈಸ್ಟರ್ ಜಾಗರಣೆ ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಜನರು ಸಮಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದರು, ಹಳೆಯ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಹೊಸ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ವಾಚನಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರ ಮುಂದೆ ಇಡಲಾಯಿತು, ಜನರನ್ನು ಪಾಪದಿಂದ ಕೃಪೆಗೆ, ಮರಣದಿಂದ ಜೀವನಕ್ಕೆ, ಕತ್ತಲೆಯಿಂದ ಬೆಳಕಿಗೆ ವಿಮೋಚನೆಗೊಳಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವರ ಹಸ್ತಕ್ಷೇಪದ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಸಮಾರಂಭವು ಬೆಂಕಿ ಮತ್ತು ನೀರನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಮತ್ತು ಯೂಕರಿಸ್ಟ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಈ ಅರ್ಥವನ್ನು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗಿ ಹೊರತಂದಿತು. ಫಾದರ್ ಮ್ಯಾಕ್ಸಿಮ್ ರೊಸಾರಿಯೊ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಆಚರಣೆಕಾರರಾಗಿದ್ದರು, ಫಾದರ್ ರಾಬಿನ್ ಸ್ಯಾಂತ್‌ಮೇಯರ್ ಧರ್ಮೋಪದೇಶವನ್ನು ಬೋಧಿಸಿದರು, ಬೊನಾವೆಂಚರ್ ನಜರೆತ್‌ನ ಪ್ಯಾರಿಷ್ ಪಾದ್ರಿ, ಫಾದರ್ ಉದಯ್, ಫಾದರ್ ಮೈಕೆಲ್, ಫಾದರ್ ಜೆರಾಲ್ಡ್, ಫಾದರ್ ಜೇಸನ್ ಪಿಂಟೊ, SDB ಹಾಜರಿದ್ದರು.
ಆಚರಣೆಗೆ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಸಭೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾಯಿತು. ಉಪವಾಸ, ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಋತುವಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ಯಾರಿಷಿಯನ್ನರಿಗಾಗಿ ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಲಾದ ಹಲವಾರು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಲೆಂಟ್‌ನ ತೀವ್ರವಾದ ಸಮಯವು ಪುನರುತ್ಥಾನಗೊಂಡ ಭಗವಂತನಿಂದ ಶಾಂತಿಗಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕೊನೆಗೊಂಡಿತು. ಸೇವೆಯ ನಂತರ ಜನರು ಪರಸ್ಪರ ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಪಾಸ್ಚಲ್ ನೀರನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ಮನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಕೊಂಡೊಯ್ದರು.

Easter vigil was conducted at our Lady of Miracles church Milagres Mangalore.The people participated in the ceremony, with old testament and new testament readings placed before them with the significance of God’s intervention in redeeming the people from sin to grace, death to life, from darkness to light.The ceremony clearly brought out this meaning by blessing the fire and the water and partaking in the Eucharist.Fr Maxim Rosario was the main celebrant,fr Robin santhmayer preached the homily, the Parish Priest fr Bonaventure Nazareth,fr Uday,fr Michael,fr Gerald,Fr Jason Pinto, SDB were present.
concelebrated.A big gathering witnessed the celebration.The intense time of Lent with fasting, prayer and several programs arranged for the Parishioners during the season culminated with the prayer for Peace from the Risen Lord. After the service the people greeted each other and carried the Paschal water to their houses.
