‘Ayudha Pooja Celebration’ at NITI (National Industrial Technical Institute) on Thursday, 10th October, 2024.
As the vibrant festival of Dussehra approaches, National Industrial Technical Institute, Heradi – Barkur had its all preparations at place, to celebrate ‘Ayudha Pooja’, ‘a cherished tradition that beautifully intertwines spirituality with our commitment to technology and learning. This auspicious occasion, dedicated to the worship of tools and instruments, serves as a reminder of the importance of knowledge, skill, and the hard work that drives innovation’, Principal Prof Kramadhari informed the students.
The Office Bearers and Members of ‘The Barkur Educational Society’ – BES, the Teaching faculty led by its Principal Prof Kramadhari, Students fraternity joined together as they honoured the essence of Machines, Equipments and Tools and the spirit of creativity that empowers NITI’s glorious journey in the world of technology, over the last 4 decades, Mr Ramachandra Kamath, the Correspondent of the Institute narrated to the gathering.
‘Through rituals, cultural performances, and collective festivities, we will celebrate our achievements and reaffirm our dedication to excellence in our fields. Let’s come together to embrace our roots while looking toward a future filled with promise and potential’, as the retired Principal of NJC, Mr B Seetharama Shetty shared his feelings on this auspicious occasion.
As many as at eight locations, from 10.00 am onwards, the devotional Pooja was performed and students were the enthusiastic lot to decorate the pendal and attractive venue for the celebrations.
Among others, Secretary of the BES Mr Ashok Kumar Shetty, Former Principal of the NITI Mr Dinakar Thollar, Admn. Coordinator of the National Educational Institutions Mr Archibald Furtado, Correspondents and Heads of National Institutions gracefully participated in the Pooja and followed reception.
A sizable number of First Batch students of NITI about 40 years ago were the special guests for this beautiful occasion, with many of their counterparts during the following years as they shared nostalgic memories and exchanged views on celebrating ‘Ruby Jubilee of their Alma mater NITI – on a fitting grand scale. Past students, Lecturers served earlier and the present students are planning something memorable in coming months.
Ayudha Pooja ceremony provided an excellent opportunity for a festive coming together of Management, past and present students and Teachers as the colourful NITI Campus wore a beautiful heavenly look, today as bright morning and clear sky doubled the joy of the spectators and stakeholders with sounds of crackers, music and sounds of bells and perfume of fresh flowers all around.
