ಮಂಗಳೂರು, ಸೆ.24, 2024: ಸೇಂಟ್ ಆನ್ಸ್ ಫ್ರೈರಿ ಬೆಜೈ ಡಿವೈನ್ ಮರ್ಸಿ ರಿಟ್ರೀಟ್ ಸೆಂಟರ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇಂಟ್ ಪಡ್ರೆ ಪಿಯೋ ಅವರ ಹಬ್ಬವನ್ನು ಸೆ.23 ರಂದು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಬೆಳಗ್ಗೆ 9.30ಕ್ಕೆ ಪೂಜ್ಯರ ಆರಾಧನೆ ಆರಂಭಗೊಂಡ ನಂತರ ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆ ನಡೆಯಿತು. ಸೇಂಟ್ ಆನ್ಸ್ ಫ್ರೈರಿಯ ರೆವ್ ಡಾ ರಾಕಿ ಡಿ’ಕುನ್ಹಾ ಅವರು ಪ್ರತಿಮೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಳಸುವ ವಾಹನವನ್ನು ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರಿಗೆ ತೆರೆದಿಡಲು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿದರು. ಸುಮಾರು 500 ಭಕ್ತರು ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು.
ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ 10.30 ಕ್ಕೆ ಬಿಜೈನ ಧರ್ಮಗುರು ಮತ್ತು ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಧರ್ಮಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯದ ಪಿಆರ್‌ಒ ರೆ.ಡಾ.ಜಾನ್ ಬ್ಯಾಪ್ಟಿಸ್ಟ್ ಸಲ್ಡಾನ್ಹಾ ಅವರ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾಭಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಮಹಾಪೂಜೆ ನಡೆಯಿತು. ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರವಚನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಸ್ಸಿಸಿಯ ಸಂತ ಫ್ರಾನ್ಸಿಸ್, ಸೇಂಟ್ ಕ್ಲೇರ್, ಸೇಂಟ್ ಬೊನಾವೆಂಚರ್, ಸೇಂಟ್ ಮ್ಯಾಕ್ಸಿಮಿಲಿಯನ್ ಕೋಲ್ಬೆ, ಪೋಪ್ ಫ್ರಾನ್ಸಿಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ಸೇಂಟ್ ಪಾಡ್ರೆ ಪಿಯೊ ಅವರು ಬೋಧಿಸಿದ ಶಾಂತಿಯ ಅಂಶವನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ತೋರಿಸಿದರು. ಶಾಂತಿಯ ಸಾಧನವಾಗಲು ಇಂದು ಬೇಕಾಗಿರುವುದು ನಮ್ಮ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸಮಾಜದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರೀತಿ, ಕ್ಷಮೆ ಮತ್ತು ಭರವಸೆ ಬೇಕಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
Feast of St Padre Pio celebrated at St Anne’s Friary Bejai
Mangaluru, Sep 24, 2024 : Feast of St Padre Pio was celebrated at St Anne’s Friary Bejai Divine Mercy retreat centre on 23rd September. The adoration of the Blessed Sacrament began at 9.30 am followed by the procession. Rev Dr Rocky D’Cunha, superior of St Anne’s Friary blessed the statue and the vehicle which is used in the procession to expose the blessed sacrament to the public. Nearly 500 devotees participated in the procession.
At 10.30 am there was a solemn concelebrated high Mass presided over by Rev Dr John Baptist Saldanha, parish priest of Bejai and the PRO of Mangalore diocese. He in his homily highlighted the aspect of peace preached by St Francis of Assisi, St Clare, St Bonaventure, St Maximilian Kolbe, Pope Francis and St Padre Pio himself. To become the instrument of peace what is required today is love, forgiveness and hope in our families and society.
